War Thunder Mobile is an impressive technical feat, managing to cram the massive scale of the PC/Console version's vehicular combat into a handheld format without losing its soul. The damage model remains the star of the show—hitting a fuel tank or knocking out a pilot feels infinitely more satisfying than simply depleting a standard health bar. It demands a level of tactical patience that is rare in the mobile shooter market.
While the controls take some getting used to due to the sheer number of mechanics involved (ranging from tank angling to flight maneuvers), the 'Dynamic Aim' assistance helps bridge the gap for mobile players. The visual fidelity is stunning, particularly the lighting effects on different armor surfaces. It is a grind, as any free-to-play title of this scope is, but the gameplay loop of researching and mastering historical machines is consistently rewarding for military history buffs.

Spawn camping and unfairness
Tue Dec 19 2023 Great game probablyJust now I got spawned camped and it was one time but I wanna make sure that it won’t happen again so hopefully you can find a solution now I understand if you can’t find a solution but would be very happy if that never happens again because I hate spawn camping next on the list is unfairness most of the lobbies there is at least one person on the enemy team that has that rocket thing on top of there tank that is way to op in fact the rocket thing is one of the people that spawned camp me and our team and then we lost but I have an idea for the rocket thing put the golden tanks I’m just gonna call them golden tanks in one lobby like all golden tanks and no gray tanks and I’m calling the tanks that aren’t golden and so the gray tanks won’t just feel overwhelmed if there team doesn’t have any golden tanks and idk if this solution will work but how about if a tank is in the enemy area a AI does an artillery strike and it will absolutely destroy them but they have a chance to get out but make it hard know that’s it but I really hope you see this because I really love this game it’s really realistic tank game and I really hope you see this 🤞
Not Enough Modes to Play
Tue Oct 14 2025 idontwantto788There needs to be more game modes in War Thunder Mobile like an arcade mode and realistic mode that is almost or exactly like War Thunder not on mobile. For example a ground arcade which is like what is in now, then a realistic mode which had no cross hair where you can penetrate and have to use a rangefinder if needed and also at lower ranks or all the way through being able to bring aircraft in and also for realistic have spawn points which are given when getting any type of hit, regular or critical, a target destroyed, a assist, or capturing a point. And how the spawn points would work is you can spawn in 2 tanks no madder what because you will start off with 450 spawn points (sp) and the first ground vehicle will cost 100 spawn points (sp) and the next would cost 200 spawn points (sp) and you keep adding 100 spawn points (sp) and the first aircraft if it’s a fighter would be 480 spawn points (sp) for the first bomber it would cost 720 spawn points (sp) strike aircraft could be 600 spawn points (sp). And for ground the realistic they would work more like the actual vehicle. While realistic for air you would get 1 plane no spawn points and there would be no lead indicator and the plane would behave almost exactly like the real thing. For naval you wouldn’t really change anything I don’t think. So please take this into consideration for the next big update like for New Years or Christmas if possible, thank you.

Wed Jan 28 2026 CambambammmThis game is amazing, but there is some changes that would make it a lot better and a lot more popular like the explosions come on man when you drop a 1000 pound bomb it looks like a 50 pound bomb and also the bomb is the explosion is not that realistic it is just like smoke there’s no fire or anything like that really also you should add different different modes like realistic mode arcade mode but but then where we could also choose maps we want to play on and on the maps and on realistic mode, there would be people that would actually actually be driving the ships and tanks in aircraft carriers like on the PC version to where we could actually dive bomb on the carriers. Also, can you make the game a little bit more grinding? It is kind of too easy and also maybe add more weather to wear like waves would be bigger and there would be smoking and stuff and clouds when you’re in a plane and like I said. Be nice if you could add aircraft carriers. make it to where there’s different maps we could choose in different modes we could choose to play like arcade real also mode to where there’s people that would actually be driving the ships and actually be driving the tank so we could be bombing real people and be bombing real people that are driving tanks so that would be cool. Thank you and thank you for the amazing game.
It was okay at first…
Sun Aug 25 2024 Pain incarnatedWhen I first started, this game was great! The controls were simple and easy to learn, and the tanks were accurately modeled and detailed amazingly! The first few matches were fun and saw a lot of action, until you advance just ONE tier higher. Premiums flooded the map, people who joined 3 minutes ago and payed a few bucks to get a good tank. It’s impossible to penetrate these premiums and where you can get through there is nothing to destroy. The free tanks have virtually no armor and it takes forever to reload your gun that will inevitably just bounce right off. If you rely on your team, I Guarantee that they will drive right by your flaming T 34 while you desperately try to defend yourself from the entire enemy team. If you try to push a point or attack a position, expect zero support and your entire team cowering behind rocks. There are also many other problems such as artillery shells doing nothing against anything that has a millimeter of armor, crew that can withstand anything from a 75mm AP round to the head or fuel exploding right behind them. Your track will fall off if you hit something going 4 inches per hour, and teammates that apparently cant see what’s happening right in front of them. If you play this game, I warn of a frustrating play through and painful experience. This game has a lot of potential but there’s a lot that needs to happen before that.

Mon Aug 12 2024 SlitheringbeeAwesome progression is kinda slow considering I’m not the best of the best and the matchmaking is perfect because I lose like some battles and win some so it’s fair overall and I really like that you have teammates instead of ai because actual players can really help you win best game that is like this that I have seen and I also like that if your precise you can one shot somebody I have done this a few times because I’m not always successful but when I am I can help teammates in need of backup like they help me I would really like if you could talk to your teammates through an actual chat instead of quick chat I know it would be difficult to type while in combat but like at least more specific stuff like you can say I need backup in this location to be exact and it sends everyone you location or at least that the dots that represent players have their names so you can identify where are they calling for backup you know because if that was like that I could help my teammates more and they could the same for me and each other that’s all

Wed Feb 12 2025 Vk⚽️🇵🇱Honestly, it’s a good game I guess but it’s a lot different from the pc or PlayStation version. First off, top tear is still ww2 planes, your stuck playing against bots most of the time, the maneuverability is choppy, and it’s hard to line up a shot especially when the bots just pull up and make loops in the sky. It’s kinda annoying that I like to shoot with my right hand in the right side of the screen but the lock is on the left so I need to take my left hand off the screen and completely stop controlling my plane to press the lock button. The devs should 100% add jets to this game and fix the shot line up a little so it would be easier to move the plane because you’re playing on such a small screen (if your on phone) This game does pass time but honestly, it’s kinda boring. I hope the devs see this and fix this game up a little. Anyways the game is some what decent but I hope that jets will be added and that the ww2 planes would be a little easier to unlock because they go all the way to tear 7. I’m not sure if the tech tree continues the more planes you unlock but this game should definitely also have more nations like Japan, France, and Sweden. Anyway, I am brand new to the mobile version but I will be sticking to the pc version because the mobile game is not really like the og.
DEVELOPER PLS READ, AND AN AWESOME GAME
Sun Feb 16 2025 cdoGregorWar Thunder is one of the only mobile games I play. I would highly recommend this game to anyone who likes war simulator type games. The constant events and seasons really help this game feel like there’s always something to do. The only things that I want to request, would be Aircraft Carriers, and some sort of battle that includes tanks, ships, and aircraft (pretty recently introduced so thanks for the aircraft battles) battles all on one map at the same time. I feel like that would be really cool. Aircraft Carriers would be like this people in ship battles who just want to sit back and shoot at a distance, as they would just launch planes for attacks. But overall, this game is 11/10, and is really fun to play. Also, PLS ADD THE FOKKER DR. I TRIPLANE- THE RED BARON… I think it’d be sick. Another update to my review- pls remove the boosters from the historical trophies, I just spent 870 Golden Eagles for some boosters?🥲 also what is with the firing at death. Like I get a shot off before I die right where I know it would’ve blown up the tank but it doesn’t do anything and seems like my bullet just disappeared.
Good fun game but some annoying quirks
Sat Feb 15 2025 Killme262See its a good game. But its a little like the real war thunder. A bit of its p2w but not completely. But the progression is grueling and slow. For this i say you introduce realistic battles like in the real war thunder. You get significantly more rp and sl, with less helpers. So essentially take the rb from normal wt and put it into war thunder mobile. Another problem is the infamous spawn camping issue. See people dont play the objectives instead they go and spawn camp. Now pushing spawn is a completely different story. As its how the battle should progress your team is losing they get pushed back like a real war, simple. But there are people that just go into spawn and farm kills die go back and do the same thing until they have no more tanks in their platoon. For this I suggest a penalty for getting kills in spawn so it doesn’t encourage people to do that. And another problem is sometimes a good flank is ruined by the spawn camp thing to where it shows you on the enemy mini map in their spawn. Even if your not really even close to spawn and it completely ruins the amazing flank that you had and now the enemy knows where you are. All in all good game I just wish for the mentioned changes above
