The Price Is Right Bingo is a vibrant collision of two gambling-lite classics. It successfully captures the excitement of the legendary TV show, complete with the iconic music and bright, neon set designs. The 'Bingo' part is standard, but the integration of show-themed power-ups and mini-games based on 'Cliff Hangers' or 'Plinko' adds a layer of variety that regular Bingo apps lack.
The pacing is fast and social, often having you compete with dozens of others in real-time. It’s loud, flashy, and very generous with its daily bonuses, which is vital for this genre. While it's heavily ad-supported and nudges toward in-app purchases for more tickets, the 'fan service' for lovers of the show is top-tier. It turns a simple game of chance into a high-energy game show experience that feels genuinely fun.
Official 'The Price Is Right' licensing
Classic TV show music and sound effects
Iconic mini-games (Plinko, Cliff Hangers)
Real-time global multiplayer Bingo
Daily free tickets and rewards
Wait to use the 'Instant Daub' until you have only 2 or 3 numbers left on your card. This maximizes your chance of hitting a Bingo before the other players in the room.
Hitting a Bingo often triggers a show mini-game. In 'Plinko,' wait for the bumpers to move to the edges before dropping your chip for a higher chance of hitting the 1,000-point slot.
No, this is a social casino game for entertainment purposes only; all prizes are virtual.
I was in the middle of a game and in order to proceed with a bingo, I decided to make an up purchase of 15 golf clubs for $4.99… Right after it confirmed the purchase was successful, as it was returning to the game for me to continue playing, I needed 16 golf clubs, I had 5 and purchased 15 so I should’ve had 21 altogether but as it froze, I was forced to close the game and reopen it. After doing so, I received only the coins I paid to play that particular game, the power ups I used, and the Plinko tickets that I should’ve earned. The golf clubs remained at 5 instead of 21. It’s been impossible to get anyone to refund it, but I don’t know how to get in touch with them by phone and speak to a person instead of type or speak this into a microphone so it’ll type it out for me. I still love the game though so I guess that’s just a lesson learned. Jennifer G.
I used to be obsessed with this game! I used to play all the time! I spent so much money on this thing! But then they got greedy. They make you watch an ad after every single game and if you leave the app and come back, like say if you were to answer the phone, When you pull the app up again another ad! And a lot of them are long ads! Just obnoxious! The ones with Courtney Cox and Lisa Kudtow is more than two minutes! It’s just ridiculous. But hey… If I give them even more money, I could be ad free. I think they give you so many ads that you just can’t take it anymore and you pay for the subscription. Which I did when they first came out with that. But that is just like thievery! I used to love this game because they were fair with their bingos and they only had ads if you chose to watch them to earn more credits or what not. Now you’re being forced. And for the free daily gift it makes you leave the website and go somewhere else to get it and then you have to come back and watch an ad again! And nobody is updating with new bingo locations. So you just have to play the side games for months! And this is one of those bingo games that cuts you off so you can’t click on your last number. I wish it would just go back to how it used to be. And add a couple seconds after announcing the last number.
I’ve been playing this game daily for a while now, and while the coins don’t last nearly long enough and you can’t select your own cards to at least feel like you have some control over if you win or not, the game itself can be fun. However when it crashes and like I’ve said, it’s a regular occurrence, it’s always at the end of my game so I never know the end result or what I won or would have won had it not crashed. I don’t get my prizes or bonuses so I lose every time it crashes. I hadn’t reported it because I get there are glitches but I finally had enough and I actually spent money on the game so now it’s super frustrating because my personal money is involved so that I could enjoy the game longer. I made a complaint but have not received any resolution as of yet. They just go round & round asking the same ridiculous questions, when did this happen, what time, can you supply a pic or video? It CRASHED! How am I supposed to predict when it’s going to happen so that I can capture it on a video? What am I supposed to take a pic of exactly after it crashes? It closes out and takes me to my home screen, so they want a pic of my home screen? I’m sure there are other Bingo games that don’t crash as much so maybe I need to move on.
I wrote a super long review for this game earlier but my phone discarded it after going on standby, so you all get this shorter version instead. This game operates on a false sense of urgency and scarcity. Arbitrary time limits that are designed to make it look like the player is up against real, live players when they are not. Whether or not you win is pre-decided at the beginning of the game and you can tell when the game has decided that you’ll get to win. Rewards for winning aren’t enough to keep playing at the game tier required to get puzzle pieces that allow you to advance, so it tries to get you to buy coins with real money. Except purchasing bundles is EXTREMELY glitchy right now and after the game didn’t give me the items I paid for, it took days for the support team to get back to me about it and Apple wouldn’t refund my money. I thought it was a fluke so I tried buying power ups, with the same effect: paying the money but the items not being added to my account. There’s also been MANY instances in-game where I was supposed to earn coins or power ups and the number just never goes up while the animation of coins being added plays, making you lose out on them permanently. Skip this one. CBS has enough money.
I’ve been playing the game for several weeks now. I wanted to love this game. It definitely could be a blast to play but it falls short. Seriously short. First, many times I’ve gotten a Bingo from an instant Bingo suddenly disappear either right after getting it or right as the round ended. Second, I’ve gotten Bingos but then received no puzzle pieces at all. Third, I have had power boosts that literally have provided nothing by way of assistance in game play. And lastly, there is no way to earn power boosts or a free space or anything. Actually there isn’t really a challenge in this game at all. You get a few power boosts by opting to watch a video or by paying cash to buy them and that’s it. There is a lot going on in the game that is just there for no apparent reason unless it’s revealed only after you pay for an upgrade? I don’t know. But I do know that I have bought power boosts and again, had said boost provide no boost at all. So it doesn’t matter how you get the boost they just do not always provide a boost. It would be nice to have challenges that you can play to win boosts. Or if there was any real challenge to the game. And if everything functioned as it should.
Seems there’s a million options to spend money within the app, and I have no doubt that many people do. But after the first couple days of smooth play, suddenly one day I’m getting ads after every game. For me that’s a deal breaker. Just seems to me that if you’re going to ask people to spend money (ie “break open the piggy bank for $1.99!”), then it should be an ad free experience. I sure as heck won’t be paying for game features while putting up with annoying ads too. (And I don’t believe in paying for an ad free experience “VIP” status AND pay to unlock game features too. That’s just ridiculous) So as much fun as I had with the game, I’m deleting my account and the app. There are plenty of other games and apps out there that are just as fun that don’t suddenly surprise you with ads two days after playing the game. And for the record, I have quite an embarrassing history of spending stupid amounts of money within apps that have never once hit me with ads, BECAUSE there’s never been a single ad to put up with. As soon as I get an ad, I quit the game. But that’s just me.
A game free is going to have ads - it's the way of life. Think you can purchase an ad free experience? Technically you can... for 30 days (essentially a monthly subscription.) Oh wow, there's not too many ads you might say; guess what - the further you get into the game, leveling up and going to different locations, if you haven't paid anything, more ads will be popping up! And not only that, but some that will blow your speaker as they're much louder than the game itself. Or you'll get a still 'video,' so you don't even get to have your eyes do something but glaze over the repetitive ads while you think to yourself, "Is this worth it? A number of Bingo games are the same but don't have the Price is Right brand." And the power ups, I said they're fun, but they want you to pony up for those, even the chest and one daub powers for God's sake! Luckily since it's bingo, you can just reset your progress to enjoy the power ups, you'll obviously be missing out on the later mechanics like tasks and spinning the wheel. It's bingo though, I like playing bingo with power ups.
There’s no way to get ahead now without spending serious coin, which I will not do. Before this update, this game rocked. Now, it’s completely unrewarding. I guess in a way it’s good, since I can’t play it for more than just a couple of minutes now, whereas before, I’d get stuck playing for a long time, because I could win just enough to keep playing. Also they’ve QUADRUPLED the cost of the Lucky Shot golf clubs. It’s insane. I reached out to them, and they kind of said, yep, we did that. Sorry you can’t afford it. I pointed out that what they’ve got now is akin to actual gambling, and they just kind of went 🤷♀️. I guess it’s ok with them to lose players who aren’t wealthy (which is likely most of us). I refuse to spend my entire monthly entertainment budget on a one-time purchase of an extra chance to maybe win a virtual bingo. It’s stupid. When it costs $20 for 75 Lucky Shot clubs, and each Lucky Shot attempt sets you back 36 clubs, then it’s $20 for TWO Lucky Shots. That’s nuts! That is a lot of money for most people! This move is basically player repellant. Great job, y’all.
