General bug fixes and performance improvements.
The 1% Club TV Show Quiz Game brings the unique 'logic over luck' philosophy of the hit FOX game show directly to your phone. Unlike traditional trivia games that rely on rote memorization of dates or historical figures, this app tests how you think. The questions start easy (the 90% question) and scale up to the final, brain-melting 1% question. It’s a refreshing take on the genre that feels more like an IQ test than a standard quiz.
The app allows you to play along with live episodes or tackle a massive library of previous challenges. The addition of a 'daily streak' question keeps you coming back every morning. However, the experience is slightly marred by a heavy ad presence between rounds and some UI scaling issues on smaller devices. If you can look past the frequent commercials, it’s a brilliant way to see how you rank against the rest of the country in real-time logic.
Official logic questions from the FOX TV show
Live play-along mode for TV broadcasts
Daily streak challenges for brain training
Leaderboards to compare your 'logic' rank nationwide
Don't rush! These questions are designed to be tricky. Look for patterns, wordplay, and visual cues that aren't immediately obvious. Practice with the 'Daily Question' to build your logic skills.
Sync the app with the live FOX broadcast to see how you rank against the 100 contestants in the studio in real-time.
No, the questions are based on logic and common sense, meaning anyone can win regardless of their education.
The questions on the screen are so tiny. The font looks like it’s may be a 2pt at most. I often can’t see the picture or the font well. While I’m straining trying to figure out what the question is, the time runs out. The picture can’t be tapped onto to enlarge to even read it Also, it would help if you had a better explanation of how to respond prior to starting the game. I do like the questions though. Fun challenge. Interface is bad.
I love being able to play along with the show but something needs done about accidentally skipping ahead.. Almost every game I’ve played I’ve slightly bumped a later question and it skips all the other ones.. my suggestion is to either make it where you can click on a percentage before Patton asks the question then click something after he tells you to start so you can back out if you bumped the wrong question or make it where you can’t jump ahead? Other then that I love this show and Patton Oswalt
Ap worked well and it was a lot of fun to play along while watching! Would be even more fun to have as a social game where you could sync the app/game/score/episode with people you were watching with in the same room or even remotely. In person at a family get together to prove which cousin is the smartest or virtual team bonding for work to bring out everyone’s competitive side.
This game is fun. If you’re into trivia and puzzles you’ll likely enjoy this. The TV show I found hard to watch, but that’s for another day. What’s absolutely awful about this app is the ads. Not only are they long, horribly annoying, and can’t be skipped… you can’t even pay for a version of the game that removes them. They are all for scammy pay to play games too. This is what ruins the whole experience (like Patton Oswald does to the show.)
This game is ridiculous. It’s run and easy outside of the ads that I just can’t get past. I downloaded this excited to play along and all these ads keep popping up. Can’t close the app cause it’ll keep giving you ads until you watch a full ad. It’s beyond annoying considering it’s just a free app to play along with the tv show. Everything has ads these days and it’s overwhelming. So I deleted this app. Even if the ads were super short I could tolerate. They are like 30sec-1min adds. Please.
As an American, my only gripe is, some of the "Question Of The Day" questions are more specific to British culture. I realize this game show originated in Britain before making its way over to the States, and maybe the game app developers or question generators are even Brits, but you can't expect an American to know the answers to questions that are really specific to Brit culture.
This entire app is essentially an ad for the TV show (and it’s worked on me several times) so to add additional ads is pretty blatantly a money grab. But I can stomach a 5-10s ad, but 30-60s every other question is just dumb. Delete until I hear the ads have been reduced (and too bad because again, this app is what reminds & motivates me to watch the show, so probably won’t do that much anymore either).
It’s fun to see if you can answer the questions in the allotted amount of time instead of just being able to pause your television and take more time to do it. I haven’t had any issues with the app so far.
Lee Mack, who has starred in Not Going Out since 2006, has confirmed that he won't be making the show this year.
