It’s hard to believe Subway Surfers has been around for over a decade, but Subway Surfers+ reminds me why it’s a legend. This is the 'purest' version of the game. Without the constant barrage of ads or 'special offers' popping up after every run, you can actually focus on the gameplay—and the gameplay is still fantastic. The controls are incredibly responsive; I never feel like a death was due to the game failing to register a swipe.

The best part of the 'Plus' treatment is the progression system. It feels rewarding to actually play the game to unlock characters like Prince K or the high-tier boards, rather than just pulling out a credit card. It turns the game back into a skill-based arcade experience. The visuals are still vibrant and pop off the screen, especially on the newer iPhones. If you've ever felt the itch to go back to an endless runner, this is the version to get. It’s addictive, polished, and perfectly balanced.

Amazing modified version of the original game

In my personal opinion the game is amazing! A version of the original game with no ads and no unreasonable questionably expensive characters. And I love how they give more purpose to the characters you buy by making them being a source of multipliers, the more expensive they are the more multipliers you get as in the original game they are really expensive but are really of no actual use. And I love how the amount of keys you get in the missions are more reasonable as well, which in the original game you are rewarded with a very little amount after a really hard work, and in this version of the game you do more work and get more compensated. This version of the game feels more enjoyable with the absence of ads, no paying for characters with real money(which in the original game is a thing but I don’t understand why they are so overpriced since they do nothing in the gameplay besides making you look cool) and with also the variety of outfits of characters that show their past events suits which the original doesn’t do. Summarizing everything, the game is more complete, enjoyable and reasonable. I feel like I wouldn’t change anything in this game besides adding more cool things which is completely optional because the game is already amazing the way it is, just keep adding the updates of different places of the world like the original game does and that will do! Amazing game and I enjoyed it very much.

This version of Subway Surfers is so great! The characters themselves cost way less than in the original game (each character is now 9,000 coins). The special characters are now unlockable through a Collectables Box which makes it way more easier to get characters you’ve never had before, albeit randomly. Additionally, keys are much more easier to get in this version, not that it matters since their only main use seems to be for the Collectables Box and for skipping missions. Overall it’s an amazing new way to play the game, and it brings that feeling of playing it back when it first released. However, you can’t transfer your data from the free version into this version, not that it matters either since it’s very easy to get back any characters you had previously. Highly recommend this version to anyone wanting to play this without ads.

I was thrilled to see this game was coming to arcade. I played SS for 10 years before quitting due to the increased price of everything (no reasons outfits should be 75 keys, pure greed). I LOVE this game, and every issue I had with the regular edition has been fixed. Only things I would fix are that top run is being really buggy - it hasn’t worked for days now, and I would remove the time control on gaining season rewards. The current season ends in two days and I can only access reward 22/29, and I’m worried I won’t be able to get all the rewards before it’s over. I may be mistaken, but I thought all rewards opened up about 5 days before a season ends? Not sure if it’s a bug or what. Since we can’t use keys or coins to skip past the waiting period, why not just remove it? Otherwise, I’m very pleased with this game.

It’s so fun and you don’t need WiFi or anything I play it when I’m really bored and it’s super fun to compete with your friends and family. I try to get a higher high score than my brother and it’s just so fun! The best part is, I hate ads cause it ruins your whole game but it has no ads! Not a single one! Which makes it so much better because I get to enjoy the game instead of having to watch an ad every round. On the other subway surfers, it’s so hard to get more characters and board or everything else, but on this it’s so easy and so amazing, there’s also so much more options to choose from for your character! And when your at a restaurant or like something when your really bored or waiting in line at Disneyland it’s so fun! Because you don’t need WiFi! I recommend this game so much!

Oh my gosh, you won’t believe this this arcade game but every arcade games give you no ad right this game in the real the real Subway surfer you can either pay with your keys and or you could just give he is in this game. You only waste on mystery boxes isn’t that great or you can save up till you have tons then you can buy the best ones and also you can even buy some characters instead of earning them. And my kid loves this game so much when you die in this game too there’s like a wheel the more times you die. It goes faster and faster and faster. Literally, I even tried it out myself and then I told my daughter about it. She loved it download it now

Hello, sybo my name is semaj and here’s a review of the game, & some suggestions/ ideas I have that you could possibly add for the + version of subway surfers A positive of this version of the game is that every thing is way cheaper and easier to purchase characters and boards, also plus the no ads feature, and the addition of the collection box to get any random character from the game using keys - which is fair. Although I just wish that stuff like the mystery box’s to get coins and boards didn’t cost ONLY COST keys , because yes although you can get keys by running and grinding for a long time, it’s so time consuming and repetitive some would say, so it would be best to have 2 options to get the box’s with keys or coins like 500 each for example to stack on your coins easier. ( also maybe like a wishlist feature for surfers that you wanna obtain maybe, since you can basically obtain any character in this version ) - ALSO I really want you guys to add the double coin feature in this version of the game, it’s really missing that. Cool, but it’s also fun and a little boring

So Subway surfers is a really interesting game. You get to jump serve and keep running away from the cop every time the cop gets close to you and do you wanna know a cool trick that I shouldn’t tell you guys so cause I’ve had Subway surfers for a long time if you are by the cop, put the hover board double tap the screen and use the hover board and then it will make you run away from the cop faster and you guys can also collect words to make a word and you guys can also get keys it honestly is a really fun game that I like you guys may not like it, but I do and I was just giving it an interesting way of doing this, but yeah

Apple Arcade Did the Right Thing With Subway Surfers

I really like that Apple Arcade added Subway Surfers because there are no ads at all and no extra subscription needed to enjoy the game if you already have Apple Arcade. The game feels smoother, cleaner, and way more fun without constant interruptions. Subway Surfers is already a classic, but this version lets you focus on the gameplay—running, dodging trains, and collecting coins—without pop-ups or pay-to-win stuff. Everything feels more polished, and it’s a better experience overall. I think Apple Arcade did a great job with Subway Surfers, and this is one of the best ways to play the game right now
