Paper.io 2 takes the addictive territory-conquering formula of the original and refines it into a much smoother, more competitive experience. The core loop is deceptively simple: you control a colored block and leave a trail to claim space. The catch is that you are vulnerable while outside your zone; if another player crosses your tail, it's game over. This creates a high-stakes 'risk vs. reward' dynamic where you have to balance aggressive expansion with defensive caution.

What really stands out in this sequel is the improved fluid movement. Unlike the 90-degree turns of the first game, you can now move in any direction, allowing for organic shapes and much more tactical maneuvering. The addition of varied maps, unlockable skins, and daily challenges provides a steady stream of goals that keep you coming back for 'just one more round.' While the advertisements can be a bit frequent in the free version, the gameplay itself remains a masterclass in minimalist mobile design.

OK, it’s OK but like sometimes it’s so laggy and I don’t really like that and it like I go to like Christian heritage and they have so much better service and they play games. Don’t let me change the subject about this game. I get this game about 4 1/2 stars, so I don’t really like it so laggy too many ads so don’t download it and you should actually check out a new game it is called Block Blast!. I would review for that one and I said I loved it so and my name is you better write a review and think what you think of my review and I’ll read your review and see what you say. You should try a Block Blast! now this is going to be a long review so there is some games that cost money so these are the games so don’t get Donna AI they’re lying it cost money you’ll get to do one song and I think this game is better then Donna AI in the game that shows you what you’re gonna look like when you get older that game is bad too cause it literally cost 55 bucks for 80 bucks for a person to get their fan so don’t get that game on your phone it says that if you’re lying, it has a beep don’t get that either. It cost money and there’s a game that is like you press the button and you speak into it and then it says dog language and understand what you’re saying don’t get any of these. They are horrible and I’m sorry about this wrong review. Sorry to waste your time.

notifications and ads and getting killed

I love this game so much! I’ve almost got all the little guys but I have two real big issues with the game I can be in a round and then all of a sudden I would think I get popped up with an ad when it’s really just the thing that’s on the very bottom of the screen so I’m still inside of the match almost about to win and then I feel my phone vibrate and it does that when I die so I’m getting so upset so mad and then when I realized that it’s not even an ad to begin with I just got killed because I apparently “touched” the little thing that’s on the very bottom of the screen and then the other really big issue I have is with the notifications I can be watching a movie or playing a different game and then all of a sudden I’ll get the notification that somebody is attacking one of my countries and how I needed to defend my country so when I get onto the app and when I get to the little thing and I look at my shields none of my shields are down and I’m getting so mad that every single time when my shields are actually broken It’s not giving me the notifications for that and it’s just aggravating me so much why does the game do this way? None of my shields are broken to begin with? No! And not only that I’m getting “killed” when no one has gotten close to me when I start up a new game and everyone is going to me I kill all of them no problem but then when I’m in my own color I get killed? It’s dumb and unfair

Listen I understand ads are needed and I can choose to perfectly understand that I could just buy their no ads feature. So what’s the problem? Well for starters I could start with, the amount of advertising can come off as money hungry and downright.. very annoying and makes the game basically unplayable with the ads you get mid game! Not to mention you aren’t even a minute in and you’ve already received an ad which makes gameplay impossible to enjoy without premium. “Just buy the game if you want it that much?” With that being said, mobile games should still be able to offer a decent experience without needing to pay money since it’s free to download; but to basically use the game at all? especially when the mechanics of this game is “cover the entire map” it seems almost entirely impossible, the reason why the ads have become a huge problem is because of how you can die from getting an ad and how annoying it can be mid glide across the floor. Mind you it’s not only is affecting your enjoyment but in which you choose to enjoy the game itself . “So what’s the solution?” Lastly id like to give my thoughts on this and how I would like to give some advice to the team of this game, to start off In order to play a game I think running ads before you enter a game or using a power up will make the player experience much more enjoyable and still work in favor of the devs. But anyways I hope you and your team read this and take my advice and thoughts as to make new improvements.

I love this game, but it has a few issues

I love all of the paper io’s but this one I just loved! But the one problem with it to me is that you have to compete to win a Country and I’m a very competitive person so each time I would get an alert saying that a country was taken over by someone that I took over would make me really mad. And I would worry about it all day just about this game. And it would bother me a lot because I didn’t have that country and I needed that country. To finish that level, and so I wish that they would change that so that you won’t compete against other people and I know that a lot of people love that, but I was just thinking that they should have you do it on your own paste. That you shouldn’t have to worry about it all day about “what if my country gets taken over.” and then have to go back to the game and spend endless hours taking over different countries and making sure no one else does. So I would just like them to change that because I’m a very competitive person and I want to complete every single level. So I don’t wanna have to worry about it and days is a life. And instead of playing this game and worrying about if my country gets taken over, I can just enjoy nature. So I just wish they wouldn’t give you notifications or after each time you die in the game shows you that country has been taken over that you took over first. So I wish that they would let you go to your own paste. So that is my complaint but this game is VERY fun to none competitive people! I love this games but I had to delete it just because of that 😭

the hack doesn’t work,the ADDS

I’m just downloading the app. The adds say it’s fun and the reviews look good. Think I’ll enjoy it. But the first thing I’ll do is name myself Thor. I hope the hack works, because I feel like everyone will have one and if I don’t….anyway, will write more once I play. (Several minutes later) Okay did the first round. Little disappointed, I typed ‘Thor ‘ as my name but sadly the hack doesn’t work anymore because it gave me a hammer skin, not Thor. And when I played I was going against normal people, not enemies of Thor. But otherwise,so far, the games okay . I just wish the hack would have worked. Kinda wanted the hammer. There are a few to many adds. It kind of makes it not fun. The adds are after and in the games every time. I always only last 2 sec, yet the moment I exit the game. I’m blasted with an add. The add takes 1min or more to finish. Then, I’m about to hit ‘play’, and it says I can get 5x bigger by watching an add. Cool, but no thanks. So I hit ‘play,’ and it blasts me with an add,even though I dint hit 5x bigger and I dint get 5x bigger. The adds are so annoying and take away the fun. Honestly, your watching adds more often then your actually playing the game. I’m going to get red of the app tomorrow. Unless you like adds,don’t get. For your own fun. (Only 5 stars so u could see).

i really like this game. i would play it multiple times a day, and recommended it to a lot of people. i like how you can get new skins, power up, and try to get 100% of the country on the map. there are also a lot of ads, which i understand, that they need ads to keep the game going, but it’s A LOT. every time you kill about 3 people, you get an ad. plus, when they give you an option to watch an ad for a reward or continue and not watch an ad, and you click continue because you don’t care for the reward and don’t want to see an ad, most of the time, you still get one. this is for a lot of free games though, too. so this isn’t my biggest problem with the game. i think it is the new TIMER UPDATE. after one minute in a round, it says times up. it only gives me a minute to try to get as much of the map as possible. i really am upset about this, and i hope it isn’t permanent. i love love lOvEd the game before this, and i may end up deleting it if they don’t change the update. you also have to pay a gem to look at the map, and it goes away and you have to pay again after 12 hours, UNNECESSARY MUCH?? i never thought i was going to write a review before this, but i wanted you to know, and if a developer reads this, maybe they can change it. thank you for your time, and i hope you can consider this.

Great but ads

This is a great game and I’ve been playing it non stop for the past 3 days. However, I keep encountering the same problem over and over that is hindering my experience and the reason why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. WAY TOO MANY ADS. Every power up you get you need to watch an ad for and every 30ish seconds an ad plays while your in a game. The ads are only about 15 seconds but there are so many of them. Every time you finish a game an ad plays which is very annoying. I was hoping there was a way to buy no ads like on other games but I was very surprised to see that it is 10 DOLLARS to remove ads. But you still have to watch them for power ups and extra lives which is ridiculous. No ads should only be $1.99 or $2.99 like it is on every other game. I would definitely buy it if it were a more reasonable price. I really like the games Voodoo makes however it seems like they’ve gotten greedy in recent years and have been jam packing ads into them. As well as having a no ads option at a dumb price. Normally it wouldn’t be a problem but they pack so many ads into they’re games (especially this one) that it’s not even enjoyable without buying no ads. But due to the outrageous price I will not be buying it. Once you get past the ads though this is a great game and is very addictive.

Fun, addictive, but QUITE a few problems you NEED to fix.

*Please Read* Hi! I think this game is VERY addictive and fun to play. I like how you can change your skins, how it (mostly) saves your score, and just the game itself. I think many people can agree with that. However, there are a few things I wish you would change. For example, the game NEVER updates. It can make the game boring, and less players will want to download this. I also think that there are a LOT of bugs, and the developers need to take charge. For instance, a very COMMON glitch is when suddenly out of nowhere, all of your land disappears. Then, someone kills you when your at a really high score. Glitches can occur in any game, but out of ALL the games I played, this one has the most bugs. Also, it’s TOTALLY normal, and I’m not saying this is the only game that does it, but there are a lot of ads. I am aware you have a no ads feature, but if you want more people to play the game, at least cut down a few ads. There is ONE LAST THING that NEEDS to change. The age rating. This game is CLEARLY not a 12+. Considering my GRANDMOTHER watches my FOUR YEAR OLD brother play it, the age rating is unreasonable. When I told my friend about it, she showed her mother, and her mom said no to getting the app, because of the age rating. There is LITERALLY no reason for this age rating. Overall, this game is fun, addicting, and ALL of my friends and family play it. You just need to fix a few things. I would TOTALLY recommend this app!
