First of all slither io, there are so many better things you could add… like why are all the skins free? Like you could make the skins cost “coins” and you get “coins” on booping snakes and getting on the leaderboard. The custom skin thing can remain free ig. Second: bugs. Every few often when I play the game freezes and I end up dying because of it. It’s really annoying. 3rd: Events or tournaments. You could add stuff like that! If you win you get a lot of coins. It’s basically like a pvp zone. If one player dies, that’s the end of the event for them. Last 3 snakes get coins. Forth: Teams. During the election in 2024, there were two sides: Trump (red) and Harris (blue). And basically if you were on blue or red, your whole team is invincible to you. You could only die by touching the opposing team. You should totally make that another full time game mode! It would bring back sooo many players. These are just suggestions, don’t take them too seriously ☝️☝️☝️

Be real.

Do not play this game. I warn you of a future where you will waste hours on nothing. This game is too addictive. It is like a drug, it will give you everything in a matter of minutes, and yet some more minutes later you shall have lost everything. It harms your health, as you will become sucked within an intoxicating world where there is nothing and will always be nothing. I’ve heard of people who have played this game for hours everyday for YEARS. It is sad to see how many people are wasting their lives on something so worthless, so mindless, you may as well melt your own mind. This game should have a warning label: ADDICTIVE. If you get bored, avoid this breed of entertainment at all costs. If you have nothing to do and decide to play this then that proves that you are resorting to addiction and time wasting when you can. Rather try something good for you! Why not try Finch? Or Threes!? Grow and improve yourself! Or perhaps maybe you should just go outside. Spend time with friends and family, read a book, create art… There is so much good out there that you could be doing, instead of wasting time like this. Fulfill yourself. Don’t destroy yourself. This is why I have recently removed this app from my device, and my life. You should too. ~Frostmoon

Great improvement

I’ve loved this game for a long time. Now there is a feature that I asked for a long time ago; you can now keep your nickname without having to type it in again. Until today, I always used Ace as my nickname as it was quick to type in and it was what my childhood friend used to sarcastically call me when I screwed up “Good one, Ace”. Don’t know yet what I’ll use as a persistent name. I don’t know why I’m so addicted to this game. It’s pretty simple and stupid but if a cup of coffee does not relieve my morning grogginess, a little bit of Slither will wake me up. One other improvement I would like to see is for players using classic mode to have the same acceleration speed as the other modes. There appears to be a new bot in the game, at least I think it’s a bot, that starts out slightly smarter than the usual bots but when it gets bigger it just goes into a dog-chasing-tail circle. I’m mimicking its color pattern to see if it will confuse other players.

Back to being borked

2.1.2’s “New orientation controls” broke display handling and it’s yet to be fixed. Now on iPad the status bar and Home indicator remain onscreen at all times, and when playing in landscape, they’re on the sides of the screen. To return home from the app you have to swipe in from the right. I can’t even think of what orientation hack you had to do to achieve this. — 2/28 update I never thought I’d see the day where ‘Double-tap to boost” became a selectable option that can be turned off. *Huge* QOL improvement! Thanks for continuing to make refinements after all these years! — 11/7 update It’s great to finally see some real gameplay updates made to the app, but once again begging to be able to turn off the double-tap boost. Also, a request for team play to be permanent game mode option and not just for “live events” (and oof… what an event and theme to choose for rolling out the new feature). — I can’t count the number of times I’ve tried to make a series of quick, sharp maneuvers only for the game to interpret it as a double-tap and floor it right into the side of a snake. There’s already an onscreen control to trigger boost. Enabling double-tap to boost should be a toggle in the control settings.

New update changed the sounds, removed the ability to choose landscape, worse controls

New update changed the sound when playing to a more muted noise and took away the ability to change the orientation of the screen regardless of whether or not your screen setting was locked. You used to be able to hit a button and rotate it as you want. That’s completely gone now. Also I noticed that the controls are significantly worse and the snake will get stuck going straight even if the arrow is pointing a different direction. It’s different from the glitch where they freeze and then jump. This is just the snake not turning when trying to turn. It’s worse when using the speed. It’s like when using the speed boost, it gets locked into the direction you’re going making it near impossible to escape when you’re cornered. This is a comfort game but the unnecessary changes are making it hard to play.

SLITHER :3!

I had slither .io a while ago and than I guess I deleted it, but I downloaded it again about 2 days ago and I love it :DDDD It's a really fun game and I like how you can play online and with ai. I like playing with ai because you can switch tabs to answer a call or text and the game will pause so you can come back to it later. The only problem I'd say I have with this game is sometimes mostly when I'm playing online I lag, my avatar starts moving very slowly and I can't move it for a bit. It just keeps moving trait forward. This only lasts for about 4 seconds max but before I can gain control on my avatar again it shoots forward really fast. This can cause me to run into other players and end my game :[ It's not too big of a deal to me but it can still be a little aggravating. I put my review to 5 stars because the game is really fun and it makes up for the lagging. I'm hoping the creators see this review and fix it because than the game would be a 10/5. Over all I would say this game is super fun and I'll keep it on my phone :3 I hope this review helped whoever was contemplating getting the game! :> / \___/ \ = > x • = | U U |

This game is fire but…

I love this game, it is very entertaining for me and it’s really satisfying to eat all of the food of you get a chance, the game is honestly about competing against other players to #1, eat the food first to get bigger, and #2 see who is the last one standing, it can make you get super angry though if you let it get to you but in general, this game is fire. you guys need to have a blocking system for any innaoropriet things though because people online are bringing up hurtful things about politics, religion, and personal things, I see a lot of peoples user names hating on other people or being racist or telling innaoropriet jokes, you guys need to fix that but don’t make it so strict that you can’t make a goofy name

Lord I pray that you will help them with any discomfort.
