fix bugs
add 60 fps mode
Stacklands Battle is a fascinating mobile port of the 'card-based village builder' genre. It takes the brilliance of the original PC concept—stacking cards to craft, fight, and survive—and adapts it for touchscreens. The gameplay is deceptively deep; you start by stacking a 'Villager' card on a 'Berry Bush' card to generate food, but soon you're managing complex resource chains, training soldiers, and defending your board from invading demons.
What makes this version stand out (and occasionally frustrate) is the sheer chaos of the board as your village grows. Managing twenty different stacks while a timer is ticking creates a high-pressure environment that strategy fans will love. While the UI can feel cramped on smaller iPhones, the '60 FPS' update has made the card-dragging significantly more responsive. It’s a game of 'just one more moon' (the in-game day cycle) that provides hours of emergent gameplay. If you enjoy roguelike deckbuilders but want something that feels more like a real-time strategy game, this is a must-download.
Unique stack-based crafting and combat mechanics
Over 100+ cards including resources, buildings, and enemies
Roguelike elements with permadeath and unlockable packs
Smooth 60 FPS mode for responsive card dragging
Multiple game modes with unique maps and challenges
Focus on food first. Stack your starting villager on Berry Bushes to get a surplus of berries. As soon as you have 2 Wood and 1 Stone, build a Small House to increase your villager capacity. Always keep at least one villager dedicated to 'foraging' so you don't starve during the Moon transition.
When a 'Rat' or 'Demon' card appears, the game doesn't pause. Drag your Villager (or better, a Militia/Soldier card) onto the enemy to start an automatic battle. Stacking multiple combatants on one enemy will defeat it faster and reduce the damage your villagers take.
Stack 1 Wood and 1 Flint to create a Spear, then drag a Villager onto it to turn them into a Militia member.
Great game, however the menu tabs are next to impossible to click on iPhone, therefore making this game not iPhone friendly at all. I recommend larger tabs or making them closer to the top center of the screen. Also when clicking on recipes to craft items, it shows a different screen instead to showing you what you need to craft the items. Over all this game needs more work.
So the game is fun it’s complicated the thing that annoys me is that they used the worse colors possible for someone who is red green colorblind. So if you can do something to allow for a friendlier color change that be nice because it really give me a headache trying to squint and look at the game. It may be only one eye for me but this would be horrible fore someone suffering r&g blindness in both eyes
Game just doesn’t fit on the screen, so zoomed in that the menu hangs off the edge! Would love to be able to play fully on iPhone
I can’t make miners and lumberjacks as well as smithy’s and a lot of other stuff so I suggest UPDATING the game (also I got to day 106)
Tried playing on iPhone but the screen is zoomed in so if I collapse the idea menu, I can’t reopen it. Furthermore the text on the cards is white so it makes them extremely hard to read.
You need to update the game my colors were inverted
This game is not same as shown in App Store. It has only basic cards. It does not have the combat upgrades or any of the new classes. Not a real stacklands
Just some nice little vibes so far! :)
