Salon Story is a charming and addictive time-management game that places you in the shoes of an aspiring beauty mogul. The gameplay is fast-paced and requires a lot of multitasking—you have to wash, cut, and style hair while managing the happiness of multiple customers at once. It captures that 'frenetic fun' seen in classics like Diner Dash but with a much more modern and stylish aesthetic.
The progression feels very rewarding; you start with a tiny one-chair salon and eventually build a luxury beauty empire. What I enjoyed was the customization; you can spend your earnings to decorate your salon, which actually affects the gameplay by making customers more patient or increasing your tips. It’s not a revolutionary game, but it’s a very polished and satisfying entry in the management genre. It’s perfect for anyone who enjoys the 'just one more level' feeling of task-based simulations.

Always keep an eye on the 'Hearts' above your customers' heads. If a heart is flashing, they are about to leave. Prioritize finishing a current service rather than starting a new one, as a finished customer leaves a tip and frees up a chair immediately.

The 'Coffee Machine' is your best friend. Upgrade it early; serving coffee to waiting customers stops their hearts from depleting, giving you precious extra seconds to finish a complicated hairstyle.

Wed May 24 2023 Juliette cancelI love love love the new update! I just paid for remove ads now that it’s a feature that’s added but beforehand I still enjoyed playing this game as much! There weren’t even that many ads tbh lol anyways it’s nice to pass the time and get lost in the game I love it 😁
Fun but needs work…
Tue May 14 2024 tymg_I love playing this game and it helps me with my anxiety, unfortunately once I get to a certain level it seems to quit working and you can’t make money anymore because the players never finish their task (the green circle stops about half way and freezes) So I end up deleting and redownloading so I can keep playing. I also have tried to purchase the “no adds” option twice and both times it still makes me watch adds to get the bonuses. If they fixed these bugs it would be the best game, but definitely don’t spend any money because it won’t get you very far and it’s a waste when you can’t proceed further to the next levels. I hope the developers see this and make some changes!
Lots of ads
Tue May 02 2023 Tfulgham07Cute gameplay, but I’ve played other games with this setup and they don’t force ads on you in the middle of your gameplay. You have the option to watch ads for boosts if you want, but it’s not a requirement to play. This game throws random ads up in the middle of your gameplay and it doesn’t ad any bonuses to what your doing. I’d recommend removing the random ads that pop up. So I’ve uninstalled until that’s no longer a requirement to play. It’s annoying having ads pup up and interrupt your gameplay every 45 seconds to a minute.
Cute enough, many bugs
Wed Jun 14 2023 Fswrgv174Does the job as far as idle games go, but I continue to encounter several problems. Oftentimes an employee will stop at the hair cutting station and there is no progress wheel and so that character never leaves/pays so you have to hope you have other areas open and accumulating cash so you can move on. Another bug is when you move on to a new level and you go to retrieve your usual treasure chests, the number of chests reads 0 and there’s nothing to open and you can’t exit the screen without quitting the game. Tip coins are sometimes hidden behind the button to upgrade the station so you have to tap exactly in the right spot. I wish you could zoom out. Sometimes becomes dizzying. Would love an event feature. Thought paying for no ads would include the 2x bonus, but not so. Otherwise basic and cute.
There’s still a bug
Sat Apr 06 2024 chloe 865I love this game I’ve been playing it for a while and when I get to Beauty center in Paris it freezes I’ve deleted it and downloaded it again to see if it would work and it didn’t the customer comes in and it freezes at the half timer mark.
BUG
Wed Jun 28 2023 RemipeSuper annoying. Most of the time, tips will appear in areas that you can’t click on them. In between chairs and such. Has happened multiple times. I don’t spend all these diamonds for me to not be able to click on tips. Makes me not want to recommend the game.

Wed Nov 08 2023 Ashley4Life2008Occasionally after i get to a good level that take a while to get back, it will just stop working. I will finish one level and get to the next, and it feels like the customer gets stuck. It just sits there and it shows the bar halfway full but never progresses or anything. Please fix this because otherwise this really could be an amazing game.
Game Frozen / No Longer Works
