- We forgot Max Kobbert, the creator of Labyrinth boardgame, in the credits. We’ve now fixed that. A big "Sorry" again!
- North/up hallways are now clearly visible, preventing accidental miss moves.
- Characters can now be hidden at any time, allowing a clear view of the playing field (previously only possible in zoom mode).
- The boundaries between the maps in the Master Labyrinth are now more visible.
- Fixed an incorrectly rotated tile in the Master Labyrinth.
- At the end of a game, a new round starts directly when you tap on "New round" (previously, a detour via the main menu/book was necessary).
- Fixed missing or black textures and broken texts on some devices.
- You are now searching "Treasures" everywhere except in the Master Labyrinth. "Points" are only awarded in the Master Labyrinth.
- The "wooden sticks" in the Master Labyrinth have been renamed to "magic wand" to conform to the haptic board game instructions.
The digital version of Ravensburger Labyrinth is a faithful and polished adaptation of the legendary board game. For those who haven't played the physical original, the 'aMAZEing' mechanic of shifting walls to create new paths is as brilliant now as it was 35 years ago. The app does a great job of making the board clear and readable, which is crucial when you're trying to plot a route through a maze that changes every single turn.
What makes this app a great value is the inclusion of different editions, like Labyrinth Junior and Master Labyrinth, as well as several DLC boards like Japan and Germany. It’s a perfect family game since it supports local multiplayer for up to four people on one device. The recent updates have fixed several UI issues, making it much easier to navigate the board without accidental moves. It’s a classic strategy game that has aged remarkably well, offering endless replayability thanks to its randomized setup.
