Punch Club is a boxing tycoon management game with multiple branching story lines. Your goal is to find out who killed your father, but how you get there depends on your choices. Manage your fighter's stats, choose your fighting style (Way of the Tiger, Turtle, or Bear), and balance work with training. Every decision matters as you juggle friendships, love life, and your climb through the ranks of the Punch Club.

Our Expert Score

88/100

Punch Club is a brilliant blend of 80s nostalgia and deep management simulation. It’s not a fighting game where you control the punches; it’s about the grind—the eating, the working, and the training. Balancing your stats (Strength, Agility, and Stamina) while trying to pay rent and maintain a social life is a stressful but addictive loop.

The branching story is surprisingly engaging, with plenty of movie references that made me smile. The recent 'Easy Mode' update is a godsend for players who found the stat decay in the original game too punishing.

Needs just a little bit of work
Wed Nov 27 2024 ‘—————--‘

I was about at the place where you like shoot movies and stuff like that then I went to a different place and the house disappeared. The house where live in the game just disappeared so I went to another house and that disappeared too. I it needs just a little bit of work. Also, you can’t click on the houses either. That disappeared they’re completely gone.

Mobile game for ACTUAL gamers

If you'd rather play a "pay to win" or "pay to play for more then 15 minutes at a time" look somewhere else. This game has all the elements that made many older console and PC games great with no feeling you have to play daily or can only play for a few minutes at a time. It's a play when you have time (the way games were meant to be played). The soundtrack, basic premise, progression, and time management features are all top notch. There are consequences to every action and step you take, yet eventually you unlock ways to mitigate all those in some way shape or form. Those complaining about certain aspects being too difficult just haven't explored there options much at all. Talking to people, clicking on surroundings to see if there is anything to be discovered and experiencing all the different options (liking chilling with Roy is a big one most miss as something that improves all four personal condition categories to get you through rough spots) are all things you'll need to do. Hint: if someone says "This needs to be done first" then perhaps you should attempt to assist in that task. The game is held back from a handful of bugs at the moment, otherwise it'd be 5 stars all-around. If you have a PC, the version on steam is better at the moment, but hopefully they get this patched up and back in working order.

Bugs with mick and interface

I’m on an iPhone 17 pro max and when I started the gameplay I’m told to visit mick at his dojo. I get there and I can tap where I need to go but I tap on him and there’s no dialogue. It won’t let me tap on him. When I go to the food store I can buy food and everything but then it won’t let me exit out the food tab. It’s honestly frustrating bc this game is so good and it’s riddled with bugs

THEY FIXED THE SAVE FEATURE!

Omg folks, they did it, those beautiful devs did it. WE CAN FINALLY SAVE ON iOS! It didn’t work initially for me, but when I uninstalled and reinstalled the game, it worked! I can finally save! FINALLY!

Fun but needs work

Once you get past the rookie league it becomes virtually impossible to do anything more. You can’t train your character fast enough to offset what he loses so you don’t progress. So you’re stuck in an endless loop of not winning.
