We continuously make changes and improvements to provide you with a better gameplay experience. This update includes:
・Stability improvements
・Minor bug fixes
I have seen so many complaints about algorithm being rigged and there are so many straights and flushes and quads and other crazy hands and how the app sets you up at times..... This is all a myth... I have been playing live poker in the casinos for over 15 years and the reality is that because of the pace of the game, you see much more hands.... In real life because players “Hollywood” and tank and order food, count chips, tell stories, call time, call floor and the plethora of other things that they do, a live hand typically last 2 - 3 minutes. On the app because of the action time we set, a hand is over in 30 seconds (albeit those with WiFi issues 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️) hence you see more hands and more importantly more crazy hands... Over my history playing live I have seen these crazy hands... They are called BAD BEATS and some casinos actually rewards players for them by having a jackpot. I have been at these tables three times in the last 15 years and have been lucky to get a table share of over $30,000 cumulatively... How many times have we left the casino driving home talking to ourselves saying... I should have folded ... I should have pushed ... I should have left an hour ago! The app simply imitates life. The bottom line is Bad Beats are real... deal with it! No pun intended!
Whether you are casual or competitive this is a good format to play against friends and strangers alike. Going to see all kinds of levels of players here so lots of opportunity to improve your game. As for talk of does the game produce action hands, I think this is mostly a volume issue and anyone who plays online enough knows you will see so many more hands, anything that can happen will happen over and over and sometimes in clusters. I run for weeks with nothing “unusual” happening then you see quads over quads etc happen multiple times in a night. It happens people. Also, if you are not winning, Look to yourself first before you blame software would be my number one advice. Poker is an easy game to play but it is not a “solved game” and you can spend the rest of your life slowly improving your game. Highly recommend pokerrrr 2 as a place to work on your game while you wait for card rooms to open in your area if you are a live game player as many games here play much more like a live game than a regular online game.
Hello I’ve been a club owner and long time player of the pokerrrr 2 app. I really enjoy pokerrrr 2 over most other mobile poker apps do to its layout and community based games. There are three main problems I have with this app which I would love to see changed in the future to keep people interested in this app. 1. One of my biggest and most frustrating problems is that the app freezes lots. Not necessarily glitchy but if you exit to view other apps or text messages the app freezes and locks up making you have to close it all the way down and open it back up. Apps like pppoker, clubgg and pokerbros all are pretty good with this problem and you can even use your phone and they’ll notify you when it’s your hand. 2. Club features are limited. Club owners is what makes this app money we as club owners need to have as many features as possible to make it a smooth experience to run games. One thing that I would really like to have is a deposit feature. When my friends play I’d like to deposit there funds before hand so they can sit as needed without any problems. 3. This app needs to have a union system for clubs that want to group together to build a bigger community. Anyways love the app please add these features
There’s an algorithm on it that gives makes you run hot for a few hands and then gives you bad beats to take away your winnings. Even in the hands where you’re 80-90% favorites to win, you’ll lose to your opponent with 1 outs. I’ve had set over set numerous times and if you’re running bad during that time, your opponent will hit quads. 80% of the times you have pocket Kings, someone will have Aces. And majority of the time you have Aces, someone will have a smaller pocket and hit a flop on the set. I’ve been playing for over a year and i’ve won mostly but for beginners (new to this app) who understand the game but don’t know this app, don’t involve money. Also if you’re playing in a club or a random game, the app will always BENEFIT THE HOST. Cannot stress this enough. If an account is the owner / manager of a club where you’re playing, the app will automatically give an unfair advantage to that account over you. What i’ve understood is that this app will take you up or bring you down and then give you a few hands to lose / win to make sure you don’t move exponentially in any direction all just to benefit the host (generate rake). If it’s “your time” to win after numerous bad beats. You’ll hit gut shots like never in a real life. You chase to the river and you get rewarded unlike reality. All this app does is generate action to get players involved. DO NOT INVOLVE MONEY!!
First of all the game runs smoothly and peeling the cards up to get a peek is a really fun feature. I did enjoy playing on the app however it is clear to me that the cards on the board are not random. In my opinion, if you try to play for free and not buy more chips or gold, the cards will be stacked against you and force you to lose so you have you have to buy more chips from the store. In all my time playing on the app I think a high card (no one had a pair or better) winning happened less than 5 times for example. I play a lot of poker and the frequency of a straight or flush or full house being possible on the board and someone having it is just simply too high. Too many times the board pairs when there is a straight and a flush possible. Too many times things like this for example happen: you flop top pair with a good kicker. You bet and get one caller. Next card comes and makes a straight possible. You bet and the caller remains. Final card makes a four card straight and your opponent ends up getting the turn and the river connected to make their straight and you lose. From real experience, it is clear to me the frequency of big hands happening on the flop to later get beat by turn and further getting beat by the River is too high to be random. Money grab by the developer.
Been using this app to play with old poker buddies across US during quarantine. Not quite as many bells and whistles as some websites but virtually zero rake. Costs around $2 to host 9 player tourney. Bout $1/hr for cash games. Split between players, it’s well worth it. Would be nice to have more game options (they have nlh, plo, short deck, ofc), albeit nlh and plo are my go tos. Mix game like razz would be cool. Game does fantastic job of keeping track of win/losses for easy payouts (tho the “payoff/calculate” function has been down for a few days for me). Timeouts/connectivity issues are usually well mitigated. Servers can get overwhelmed during peak hours on weekend, has taken me multiple times to sign into app, but once ur in it’s usually good. Read reviews claiming there’s unbelievable amount bad beats, and RNG is somehow rigged. This doesn’t make sense, and I imagine this was only an illusion for someone who played online vs live for first time: you play many more hands online, so your going to see a lot more coolers: quads vs boats, straight-flushes, compared to a live game.
Pokerrrr 2 is a solid game but needs some serious attention to some areas. One would be the in game purchases which are extremely expensive. The in-game purchase options and what you were actually getting is not even close to worth what they are asking compared to other micro transactions in games. The other issue is the outdated graphics and you UI/UX to a degree. This game really needs an overhaul in terms of graphics. I’m sure it appeals to some but The UI needs to be cleaned up. The interface is way too cluttered. The last thing and the one that lot of people complain about is the algorithm. Many people feel this is a huge problem with this app. Others like to write long posts about nothing being wrong with it and it’s simply bad beats. Unfortunately, you can’t prove it either way, but there is definitely something off with it. Most companies tweak their algorithms to favor them and not the customers. If you think otherwise, you’re extremely naïve.
Any review that states the algorithm is fine is either mistaken or clueless. Even the so called “15 year casino players”. This game can be quick resulting in more hands but that doesn’t translate well when a showdown has two players with full houses and two players with quads. I play in a club so we have much longer turn meters and do not play nearly as many hands yet we still have a very disproportionate amount of heavy hands. These aren’t just “bad beats”. These are loaded hands to force action. You can’t describe it any other way. I have been playing poker for 30 years. Until this app I had seen one straight flush and never a royal flush. Using this app, straight flush is common and I’ve seen two royal flushes. You have to question when you have quads because another player might still have the nuts. I don’t care who “certified” this as random. It is anything but. With that said, the app functions and doesn’t crash too often so I give it two stars rather than one. I will continue to use it because this is where my club resides but I can’t wait until we play again in person or find another app.
