Careful, it’s addictive!
Wed Dec 21 2022 Hilgard Peak

I have been playing this app since 2010, just after they started. I play about 6-8 times per week, rarely playing more than 20 minutes at a time. That’s the problem. You can easily find yourself playing for hours daily. It’s a gambling game so if you tend to have a gambling addiction, you can easily be hooked. Good news, it will not cost you much if you do get hooked. The managers of this app were much more generous in the beginning and gave away free chips very regularly. Now the free chips are farther in between and you will have to buy some chips if you wish to play in the more expensive gambling games. $10 will get you going, $100 will get you enough chips to last forever, unless you are a really bad gambler. I spent nothing for the first 6-8 years until I realized that I should morally pay the apps team some money for all the enjoyable playing time I had over the years. Have fun and play responsibly.

Ive lost my thrill

I enjoyed playing this game. Yes, past tense In fact, it’s the only game I’ve actually paid to keep playing. Specially the tournaments. I would give it a five star before when they had 50k tournaments, and there was A freebie every 24 hours on each tournament. That’s what made it even more fun. Rewards were awesome knowing how you can be low one minute and next thing you know you’re playing with the big brawlers, and the more I had the bigger my bets was great even if I was broke again 5 min later. THAT WAS A THRILL!!! . When I was low I’d go back to freebies, use those up and then I’d pay to keep playing and well worth it. And I have paid a good chunk of money on this app. But now that they eliminated all those goodies I have to pay to play a 250k tournament for a reward that is most likely going to be 375k and now it seems like I loose most of the time which is aggravating because before I use to get a thrill even when I lost. And in my personal opinion I feel like as the app is becoming more popular, it’s also looking greedy. It just doesn’t seem to be so entertaining anymore since I’m moody loosing. And I don’t consider myself a soar looser. Only on this app I have lately. I’m honestly thinking about deleting it. Lol. Which will make my heart ache. I hope the person that decided to make those changes gets fired cause I’m not the only one that feels that way. I hope it comes back to how it was.

Rename this game to “all in bets only”
Tue Sep 18 2018 onykage

So this is the second poker game I’ve tried of 4 listed. The deals are seemingly random which is nice. How ever, you have 2 kinds of people at the table when you play. 2 or more are just trading large amounts of chips back and forth constantly, forcing anyone else at the table to “all in” just to see the flop with a 75% chance you lose. Or people with low chips and they just all in till completely broke. Now there is a catch 22 for this. This game has some stupid insurance policy enforced which makes it pay off to only “all in”, because there is a highly likely chance you will get some of your bet back for “all in” should you loose. Devs. You have a solid game. You want to get people to spend money, stop allowing the chip trading (remove the social aspect and friends) and remove the option to “all in” bet before the flop. This allows people to atleast attempt to play poker. Also remove the insurance policy. If I only have 6k chips and you all in with 500k chips and I win, I should receive 506k chips. It’s not rocket science. If the other person is dumb enough to bet like that, then they should lose and learn. If you want to curve this, simply make it either A you have a max chip stack at the table, or B you can only max bet the max of the next highest stack at the table. If I have to report people constantly just to play poker because they spam chat and other crap, I’d rather not even play.

Great interface questionable practices.

I really love the interface and the chat friendly features. However, I’ve noticed ever since I bought chips, I’ve been consistency getting bad beats. It not just one day, it’s been happening now for a week consistently. And I’ll play for a few hours and still. While those doing constant all ins always hit. People going all in preflop on hands like 2 8 hit fulls and flushes. Who goes all in with millions pre flop on hands like 2 8? This happens way too often to me and many other players. They can tell you it’s fair shuffling (RNG) blah blah, but the company that verifies it is making money on the scam too. 😂This never happens at real poker tables. Very suspicious. Don’t tell me it’s fair, change it then I’ll change my review. Plus, the background of the tables are too blah. Maybe make environments..you know, like try to make it more appealing if your going to screw the players without lube accommodations. lol..Seriously tho, this game has great potential, but there defiantly is something odd going on. So to the readers, don’t buy chips unless you want to loose and get stuck in the loop of having to buy chips...if I’m wrong I will change my review, but they will have to prove it other then just telling everyone it’s “RNG certified with Random shuffling” nonsense when it’s clearly not evident..

Good game, questions

I think this game is fun, easy to use, and very reasonable. I mostly play under the Blackjack game system, despite playing poker more often. I believe previous comments show why chat rules need to be in place. I do not like that Boost poker more often has lower than the total paid in. Actually my $50k buy in almost always has the total winning as $75k, despite three players contributing the $150k pot. This could improve to at least be the true pot size or at the very least $100-$150k for 75% of the time. Questions for developers: Why the new eye function? When are my cards actually shown? I would like specifics please. I have seen players cards who folded (last to fold against one other player) and never revealing the winner’s cards (likely bluffing). Is this new feature to encourage players to hand over login/Facebook to information to remove their cards being shown? And does this remove it? Also, PLEASE fix the game to auto log out players who close the app. At the very least it could log them out after the first “circle” of time! This alone has made me want to stop playing regularly, and I play less frequently because of it!

If you love to play it's great.. but needs some improvements.

It's nice & offers a lot of games & ways to earn coins. What I find frustrating, when you first go on & all these offers are flashing at you, would be nice if you knew what the're for & not sure if it's free or cost $ a like those gifts or expressions. Example: what are the coins used for, their different than chips; which I have many. I looked it up under help & no explanation. There are more examples like that, but let's talk about the more important ones. When you try go play make sure you know which game your in, because it automatically takes you to a table- with your chips & immediately your playing; even if that's a mistake. I wanted poker & it kept taking me to Omaha. When your going to sit & go tourn & you want to play with a friend, there is no way to know if your going to same table; and again if you want to leave you already lost your buy in money. Now on a positive note, chat tech support were very helpful & respond fairly quick. I have suggestions for fixing some of the issues but this isn't the forum.

Not Legit! Be aware!

I’ve been playing this game for years now and after losing not thousands, not millions, but billions.. I can finally say this game is rigged. Before you say “he’s just mad he lost his money”. Listen here. They claim they have a third party verify the algorithm they use for their random number generator, and it may be true, but the way the numbers are generated are not statistically the same as a real deck of cards. A 6 deck blackjack table cannot have more than 6 of any specific card. After sitting at a private table by myself I counted the cards to find that the deal had received 13, yes 13 9 of hearts. How is this possible with only a 6 or even 8 deck blackjack table? It’s not. So there is the first reason I refuse to let this go unnoticed. Secondly, their support is trash. I’ve spent over 200 dollars to better myself on this game for them to take it instantly. Only for them to send a better deal of chips to me when I run out because they think my account will buy more. I’ve never seen my 21s get pushed so many times. I’ve never seen 8 low cards in a row for the deal to hit 21 so many times in my life. Stay away from buying chips on this game because they will use you because they know/ think you will buy more in the future. Complete scam.

Couple issues with the app.

Edit: I am reporting my factual experience with this game, not making baseless claims. If you spin the slots too fast (not auto-spin), the winnings do not pay out. And frankly, i think the animation bug is ridiculous - the animation (ie dealer shuffling or handing out cards) does not HAVE to finish in order to allow people to play. It’s a terrible experience trying to pick between playing the game or leaving because of a 5 second task. I noticed 2 bugs in the game. Firstly, if I leave the app for a few seconds and return, the animation (ie handing the cards out or finishing the shuffle) has to finish, and it cuts into my time to bet - you can’t leave the app even for a few seconds or you may lag and forfeit your hand 🤷‍♀️ it would be nice if the animation would just cut and leave all available time to bet. Secondly: if you spin the slots too fast, the winnings don’t pay out. It would also appeal to the fan base and their continued support if the game did not feel like “pay to win”. I’m not dogging on the idea of making money, it just feels like this app is designed with one goal: to make users spend their as much of their money as possible.
