Check out the changes we've made to improve your racing experience. Thanks for playing!
Need for Speed: Most Wanted on mobile is a technical marvel. It manages to capture the high-stakes, adrenaline-fueled spirit of the console versions while tailoring the experience for shorter mobile bursts. The sense of speed is incredible, and the car damage system is surprisingly detailed—you’ll see every scratch and dent as you trade paint with the police.
The pursuit system is the highlight. There’s a genuine tension in trying to outmaneuver aggressive cops while also trying to win a race. The touch and tilt controls are some of the best in the genre, providing a level of precision that makes weaving through traffic feel second nature. It’s a premium racing experience that sets the bar for what mobile racers should be.
40+ customizable cars
Full vehicle damage system
Intense police pursuits
SpeedWall leaderboards
Stunning console-quality graphics
Start with the 'Novice' events to earn Speed Points (SP). Use SP to unlock higher-tier cars. When in a pursuit, look for 'Pursuit Breakers'—environmental hazards you can trigger to take out police cruisers.
Tap the brake while turning to initiate a drift. This fills your Nitro bar. Use Nitro on the exits of corners to regain your top speed quickly and pull away from rivals.
The mobile version focuses on event-based racing and pursuits rather than a fully open-world map.
i dont feel like writing a formal review for this game, but i will say that the game is worth the money. one of the best mobile racing game experiences out there, and still holds up great for its decade old age. although i do have one complaint, and that is that the game is very grindey once you beat the final blacklist member. there are some achievements that are very hard to obtain, like the "event organizer" achievement, that requires you to beat 250 events in first place/gold. (there are only around 65 in the game 💀) there are also some other tedious things too like the fact that the bugatti veyron is unreasonabley hard to obtain. you have to get literally every single car in the game, and almost every achievement in the game until you can unlock it, and even then is it 3 million dollars. the koenigsegg agera r is pretty hard to obtain too but whatever. eitherway, the game is worth it. ive spent a good amount of hours playing it, and ive unlocked every car in the game (including the NFS edition cars), gotten every achievement, and gotten every race in gold. overall i would rate this game a solid: 8.5/10 (in 2023)
Wow. This game came out almost a decade ago, and it’s still impressive. Crashing of the game has gone up when I updated my iOS device recently. But my main problem is that the NFS editions have seem to gone extinct. I haven’t seen one in a while. Now for those who are looking if this thing is better than No Limits, my opinion is YES. No Limits is not a freemium game, nor a good game. There’s ads. The developers are money hungry. Because once you get through halfway of Need For Speed, No Limits, the game requires you to level the up your car. So you level it up at car series. Then the car series requires you to level up, but you haven’t, since it takes forever to level up in the high ranks, therefore leaving you to have no choice but to make a micro transaction. Most Wanted 2012 has it’s errors, for example the Razor BMW looks nothing like the 2002 Most Wanted. (Sorry if the date is wrong.) The blue shade is completely off and the white is horrendous. There’s no storyline, it’s basically racing around and defeating past champions. Also, speedpoints. They are annoying. I cannot even get an Agera or a Bugatti. And my other complaint is that why is there no customization? At least you can personalize your car in some way. But something that angers me is that the Most Wanted list’s vehicles are not like the actual Most Wanted list for Xbox 360. Where’s the Koenigsegg and Bugatti? Pagani Huayra? But nonetheless this game is great.
Ok I’m not big on reviews nor am I great at writing them, so.. I think this game could really use some serious work… first of all the controls could use some major updating and better driving performance to boost star rating.. Secondly , the cop chases could really boost ratings if it was at all possible to break free of the Police SUVs when hitting road blocks full of Police SUVs with SWAT trucks ramming the back of your car … Even on the Freeways where you are either entering a freeway or making exit for freeway… Thirdly , I gotta say a 3.6 out of 5 could be better than this …. I play this game on my PS4… I am addicted to this racing game because it’s fun and also gets a person’s mind off of stressful life issues…. Anyways, Please fix these issues because I purchased this game out of Spite of Love for Racing !
It seems like they stopped updated it in 2012, i think they removed Ferrari from the game. The store does not load, they took it offline. 2-3 of the levels are literally not possible to get 1st in. The good news is since it’s not live, they don’t shadowban or rig the game for targeted individuals. Who ever designed this app had a bias for Vipers. They made the Viper more expensive and powerful than the Aventador. It’s more realistic than Asphalt 9 (don’t play that one). The cars are way too expensive for the small amount each race gives you. Limited color palette for cars, you can’t sell cars for money to put toward better cars. Since they stopped updating it, the same is left with the cars from the golden era (2012) when all the amazing modern cars were coming out from the cringe 2000s era. Ferrari F12 (but they took that out), Lamborghini Aventador, McLaren MP4-12C, Lexus LFA, cars that live games took out by now.
I’ve been playing this game since I was in middle school and my brother put me on to it , and I’ve been playing it since then and I’ve loved it ever since. But one thing I do have to say is once you do every race and get each place to 100% beating all the most wanted racers.. it does get super boring and it gets to the point where there’s really nothing else to do. I know this game is pretty old but it wouldn’t hurt to update it and add a multiplayer mode, it’d make it so much more entertaining, and I know sooo many people have been waiting for a multiplayer to come out for this game for a while now. It’d really make this game so much more fun, I really hope soon it becomes a thing because I love this game and all but it’s gotten boring after doing things over and over again.
BUT, crashing has been more frequent since I updated to Ios 11, and the NFS Edition cars seem to be gone from existence. With a game that’s been rated this high for this long on the paid racing games list, i’d think they’d want to keep people playing by releasing some New stuff here and there, maybe adding live multiplayer, anything, but no... it’s the plain old game and my old origin account with the records i was so proud of won’t work anymore. To those complaining it’s not a direct port of the console version... realize that this game came out in the Ipod Touch 4 days... BACK THEN phones couldn’t support something crazy like that, so they settled with this. I still believe this game is extremely well made, and a ton of fun even after you’ve beaten every level with a gold medal. Sure, it’s level based, sure, it’s wayy harder to get takedowns, but who cares when the game was made several years ago. If you’re looking for a direct console port of a good racing game, go check out Grid Autosport. I hear it runs well, and is a ton of fun. I can’t wait to get the game on Ps3 myself. To anyone reading this on Christmas Day, I hope you had a very merry Christmas. :) keep gaming everyone.
I first bought this game in 2013. I loved the game back then and recently came across it again. I am surprised that EA optimized this app to work with newer iOS versions, but very happy. This game has the best driving mechanics I’ve ever seen in any racing game on mobile to this day. The controls are simple to understand, but the cars have heft and feel good to drive and drift in. Collision doesn’t feel cheap either. The game is challenging, but with practice, you can learn to beat any hard race. The game reminds me of Racer mode from NFS Hot Pursuit (2010) but without the gadgets, which is one of my favorite Need for Speed’s of all time. Plus the app doesn’t have egregious micro-transactions that are necessary to progress. Even in 2020, I would recommend this game.
My reason of putting a one star is that the AI of the cops only targeted you no one else but you not even the NPC who is racing you doesn’t get hit. It will happen to me. Is that when I was a kid I love this game by the way I loved it right but now I see why it was hard for me before like. The cops are after you. You don’t go after the other NPC they’re around. You only go after you like what happened to me is that I was doing a race. Jaguar. Right and I had a BMW. And. As I was racing in the left side, there’s a sun beaming at you. And you can’t even tell which side to go so if you go to the left, there’s an NPC WAITING FOR YOU TO HIT IT to slow you down and then when the cops put spikes the NPC goes over them and doesn’t get affected but when you go, you get affected by the spike will I recommend you playing this game? I tell you no don’t if you really wanna waste your money, it’s not worth it. It’s already a rage beat. It’s not worth it.
