* Minor Bug fixes
* Security Updates
I’ve seen a lot of low reviews and it’s kind of surprising. At first, I hated the opponents power ups. I thought the game was the original game of Mancala so the use of power ups was confusing at first. However, once you realize how they work, it’s a fun game. I wish there was a game play where you also could just play the basic board game without the power ups as well though. I’ve read a few reviews saying it’s impossible or really difficult, but Mancala is a puzzle game 😭 it’s not supposed to be easy. It’s about strategy. And you can watch an ad for more power ups if you need, so I don’t see it as a dealbreaker. I’ve completed all levels right now so I can speak on it that it’s not impossible, you just gotta learn the power ups and use strategy. It’s honestly fun, not super exciting but it’s not supposed to be. It makes time pass and it’s not stressful. It’s genuinely my most played game on my phone. I also really love strategy and puzzle games so if you’re more into action then this isn’t for you.
I have enjoyed playing this game for the most part. I think the power-ups were a creative addition to a classic game. However, I do wish there were a mode to play without them as the computer can be insufferable sometimes. I’ve ready many other reviews about this same problem, and it sounds like the developer is looking into it which is hopeful. I appreciate a dev who listens to their audience. I am now on level 56 and have come across a bug that no longer allows me to play. The star chest at the top left of the main page glows like it is ready to be open and does not allow me to click on anything else besides it. It is not ready to be opened however. I have tried redownloading the app and made sure it is up to date. Hopefully this bug can be patched soon so I can continue to play. So overall I would recommend this game but be warned that if you come across this bug you may no longer be able to play.
I’ve never ever written a review ever in my life so I never thought to do this one. But I’ve just had a very unpleasant experience with this game. I would suggest to not download it and if you do delete it after you pass 10 levels. It was a fun game at first don’t get me wrong but after a certain point the computer matchups are just way too hard!!! They get power ups every single time and are able to use all at once while we can okay use one at once. They start first every time and are always getting a better start than we are and always able to make it to where they can always get another turn. It’s is so unfair!! Even when you attempt to make a move they always are one step ahead and counter it so easily. So not fun I understand the difficulty needs to be higher the more you play and win but honestly I was spending hours trying and trying on certain levels just to beat them. It was a fun game until it just became to hard to even think of what to do. I have deleted the game and don’t recommend downloading to anyone.
This game is fun but the computer power ups are RIDICULOUS. They use them the first turn and then there’s no way for you to catch up. They played first so you are up a creek without a paddle and there was nothing you can do. I understand it is part of the “difficulty” but unless you want to buy and use power ups like they do, it’s unevenly stacked. Either we need to be supplied with power ups in the same manner every round or the computer shouldn’t use them the first turn or something. It’s absolutely ridiculous.
Absolutely garbage excuse of an app or “game”. First off, theres an add every 30 seconds (literally). Second off, you literally cannot win a game after level 50. The bots use 10 powerups every game and make it quite literally impossible to beat unless you spend money and buy power ups yourself. You never get the first move, and in turn, every single time you start your move, you will be 10 stones behind already from the first move. The opponent is borderline impossible, the only way to beat it is if you play the level over and over and hope you get a better RNG on your stone lineup. The problem with that is you only get 5 hearts, and have to either buy more, wait, or watch an ad to get more. Either way, this is complete garbage, you cannot expect anyone to play this longer than 10 minutes, as it is literally unplayable. You spend more time watching ads than you do watching the AI get 20 stones first move. Absolute garbage game and honestly a scam. This game needs to be taken off the app store immediately.
This game was fun for the first 15-20 levels. After that, the computer wins almost all the time. I started playing this app about six months ago. I got bored because the computer always wins. You can either make in-app purchases to help and keep playing, or use up all of your power ups you may have collected. I have forgotten about this game for over three months now. As of of October 8, 2024, the app doesn’t open. It gets stuck at the last moment on the loading bar. Guess I forgot about it too long. lol Oh well. That just means it’s time to uninstall this app and find something else to play.
I spend hours playing this game, I I have used my own money to advance in this game but the app itself is staring to disappoint me. Every time I open the app it takes forever to load and some time it doesn’t at all. I opened the app yesterday and after saving up 60,000 in coins they were ALL completely gone. And when I play against, what’s suppose to be online players, I’m playing again the same 8 different people who’s scores are always higher than mine which leads me to believe the online or ‘’vs’’ version is just the computers also. I actually really enjoyed this app, I’m not sure what happened to it.
It was fun at first until you’re unable to pass any levels unless you use your diamonds and watch ads. It’s also unfair how the opponent can revive their items for free while we gotta watch ads or pay for the items. Not to mention after you’ve beaten the “king” final boss, you’re basically starting the whole storyline over. I would not recommend anyone to download this game unless you’d want to be bored by the mundane storyline, and frustrating yourself by trying to pass any levels without using your money or watching ads. Please do better.
