I discovered Magic Jig Saw Puzzles several years ago and learned to enjoy them on my iPad regularly. But as an octogenarian self quarantined because of the COVID-19 pandemic I have found the puzzles have become my best friend. I do one or more every day. I love the magic effect that helps since there are no picture until the puzzle is solved. I love the variety of subjects: especially foreign scenery and the fact the location is revealed with the conclusion of the puzzle. I post my finished puzzles on my Facebook page and always get a lot of “ likes” for the scenes we hope to visit one day. The animals are good puzzle subjects—-it’s the variety and surprise that bring me back to the app every day—-several times a day on lonely days👏🏻😄💕I am still a devoted user of the magic jigsaw puzzles. yesterday I completed a puzzle that I especially liked because when I was close to finishing the puzzle of an ocean beach I was surprised to see a pasture of beautiful horses munching their dinner. I loved that completed picture so much I saved and shared it with Facebook friends. I start every morning with a new puzzle, I select 288 pieces, not too easy, not too hard. I never know what the puzzle will reveal until I am close to being done, always a surprise and a challenge . Thank you for your genius of creating them and offerings. Starr Cliff now 83 and still a regular puzzler.

Thank you for labeling the puzzles. I love knowing the name of bird, flower or where a beautiful scene was taken. Thanks again. At times could even be more descriptive. Please allow a few seconds more viewing of finished puzzle without the “new puzzle box” pop up. Thank you also for giving the player a bit of time to see and enjoy the finished puzzle. It is much appreciated.I love not seeing the puzzle prior to working it. Love the surprise !! Especially for scenery, please tell where in the world the picture was taken. Thank you for listening to requests..it is very nice to see beautiful places that I will never be able to visit myself..am too old and not rich enough to travel to the wonderful places you show in your puzzles. Was the June puzzle of a beautiful Roadway in Albania a centuries old Roman roadway? Thank you so much for giving the location of your scenic puzzles. The one from Lake Taho was gorgeous. Maybe a good series would be “scenic America” I really miss the bonus puzzles that were offered with the daily puzzle each day. I’d be willing to use my coins to buy a daily extra puzzle. But keep them a surprise. That makes doing them more fun. I loved the snowflakes falling through the puzzles in December! 🤗 I love the challenge of puzzling…You are doing a great job !!! Ditto to all of the Thank you for stopping the periodic hesitations that began about one week ago.

I’ve been playing this game for several years and find it to be the perfect way to clear my mind. There is no need to ever spend any money. Instead, you accumulate gold coins by completing puzzles. These coins can be used to purchase additional puzzle packs. I’ve accumulated over 50,000 coins so far. Because these puzzle packs only cost less than 3,000 coins each, I have more puzzles than I will ever be able to complete! I like the variety of puzzle piece shapes as well as the option to select the number of pieces that you can choose at the start of each puzzle. You can even replay completed puzzles with different options. Plus you can also select the color of the “background” that will show under each puzzle. Think of it as choosing what color tabletop you will use to make it easier to see your puzzle pieces. If you are having trouble seeing dark pieces you can select a light background. As you move on to a lighter section, you can change to a darker background. As I get older and my eyesight is not as good as it used to be, I am able to zoom in on sections of the puzzle to better see the pieces. This is a game for older or very young ages with plenty of puzzle pack subjects to keep anyone entertained. Give it a try, I think you will like it!

This has become my favorite app. I always loved solving jigsaw puzzles as a way to relax and relieve stress but always hated the inconvenience of dealing with missing pieces and the need to reserve a large amount of working space that would always be free of debris and distractions. This app eliminates these problems with a user interface that makes solving puzzles easier then ever before. I love the variety of puzzle packs available both free and for purchase. I also like the fact that you frequently get awarded additional puzzle packs every time you level up. Another plus is the variety of settings you can change for playing each puzzle that allows you to adjust for your skill level or based on how much time you want to spend. You also have different power ups that can be used to assist in solving the puzzles. These are earned for free each time you satrap a new puzzle. This is one of the first apps that I've ever done an in-app purchase for. I spent $4.99 for a special deal that contained several full puzzle packs, removed ads and, best of all, allowed you to create your own puzzles using pics taken from your camera and from your photo library. This is an awesome feature as it gives you an infinite amount of puzzle options. Highly recommend! -CK Houston, TX

I’ve been playing magic puzzles for quite a while, have even suggested it to a lot of people because I enjoyed it so much, but I feel the game is going downhill quickly. I love the new puzzle packs added but it has gotten to the point where it feels a “free to play” game is trying to force you to pay to play. The VIP pack was changed from 5 dollars to remove ads and let you play certain puzzle packs to 7.99 a week, 9.99 a month or 100 for the year. That’s more than most games that I have seen or play. More ads got added to the game on top of the ads that you can voluntarily watch and seeing as free games get money for ads I see even less of a reason why the vip pack costs as much as it does when I have to watch an ad to play the normal puzzles as well as the monthly puzzles when before it was just the extra monthly puzzles I had to watch ads for. One of the many features I enjoyed the most was the fact that I could play offline. I travel a lot and being in the car for long periods of time I don’t have access to internet. They have now removed that option unless you purchase the VIP package. I’m sad to see that, although new packs are being added constantly, the game seems to be nothing more than a money grab anymore.

What happened to the daily bonus?

I love this game! It offers an excellent interface for all your jigsaw puzzle needs. The packs are reasonably priced (perhaps could be a bit cheaper), and you have access to photo puzzles from pictures submitted by people around the world. I would be giving this game 5 Stars, but a couple weeks ago they launched an update that got rid of the daily bonus game. Now you must watch a video to receive a bonus, and they took away my favorite bonus, the boosters. You can use boosters to give you different kinds of hints for your game. Now you can no longer win a booster, even after watching a video ad. Bring back the old daily bonus and I will make sure a 5 star rating is edited back into my review, but without it this game is simply another nickel and dime advertising farce and worth only 2 Stars. EDIT: Upon reading reviews that criticize this very same issue I notice that the developer does not address the issue at all, instead every comment gets the same reply, thanking us for our review and expressing gratitude we play the game. I don’t expect a personal reply, but it would be nice to get a form letter at least tailored to my concerns.

Last upgrade was a huge flop!

I love this puzzle game but since the last "upgrade" to supposedly fix some "glitches" it has been a nightmare. It has always had some issues with freezing up now and then but it is now ridiculous. I usually have to restart it an average of five or six times in the course of doing two puzzles. Shame on the developers for releasing this dog of an "upgrade." Hopefully they will fix it soon. If it weren't for the excessive freezing I would have rated it much higher. Over two months later and several updates not much has changed. The app doesn't freeze up as much but in order to transition from a completed puzzle to a new puzzle you pretty much have to close the app and then reopen it. Also doesn't always open on the first try and you have to try again. I am not going to uninstall and reinstall as I have no confidence that I will get back any of the puzzle packs I paid for and I am not going to put myself in the position of having to fight with them over it. Other reviews have indicated that this has happened. As far as I am concerned, it is the developer's responsibility to ensure the game functions properly. It is not up to me to jump through hoops in hopes of getting it to work right. Prior to the July debacle this game was great and ran smoothly. I am still holding out hope that they can fix this and once again have a great app.

Once again enjoying my puzzles - with a fee, but well worth it.

UPDATE: They finally offered a reasonably priced ad-free app, and I took advantage of it asap. Now I can finally enjoy my puzzles in peace once again!! This app is generally nice, but there have been so many changes over the last couple of years that make it basically unplayable at times. There used to be a free option to show edge pieces only but now you have to pay for that. Most of the backgrounds are now available by pay only. The worst - absolute WORST - thing about this app is the constant popping up of animated ads to buy other apps. You have to either close and reopen the app (which is what I do) or let it play out for however long it goes and it's constantly interrupting the game and is MADDENING. Closing and reopening the app only works temporarily and a few minutes later, the game is interrupted by another full screen animated ad. I would be willing to pay for the app to have an ad-free experience, but the only options are monthly charges of $20 or $100/year, which is absolutely INSANE. I'm going to find another puzzle app, as this one ruins any relaxing experience for doing puzzles.
