My Hero Ultra Impact is a vibrant, high-energy gacha RPG that does a fantastic job of translating the 'Plus Ultra' spirit of the anime into mobile gameplay. The 3v3 battle system is deceptively deep; while it looks like a standard turn-based battler, the timing of skill chains and the management of the 'Plus Ultra' gauge require genuine strategy.

As an expert in licensed anime titles, I was particularly impressed by the 'Ability Board' system, which offers a robust path for character growth without being overly confusing. The 2D illustrations are top-tier, often looking better than the show itself, and the inclusion of full voice acting adds a layer of authenticity that fans will adore. The game strikes a great balance between retelling the iconic story of Deku and Class 1-A and offering new, original interactions between heroes and villains. It’s a must-play for fans of MHA who want a strategic, visually stunning way to interact with their favorite characters.

Great but…

I really love playing this app, the new character art and everything is always a joy to look at and I love collecting new URs. There’s usually always something to do even without energy, such as the ultra arena and challenges, so I haven’t run out of content just yet. My main issue is something that’s been happening since the last update when I try to do the ultra arena. It will randomly crash despite this not happening to any of my other apps and even if I lower the quality/frame rate. I notice that if I’m challenging a team with Ochako on it, it will almost always crash and then it counts as a loss for me. It’s made the ultra arena extremely frustrating and not even for the reason it should be. Sometimes this happens with Jirou too, something about the attacks of the girl characters just seems to be too much for the app. Unsure if others have experienced this so that’s why I wrote about it. Oh another thing is the horrendous bachata system. I feel like you’re more likely to get URs NOT advertised on the banner and you have to do 30 10-pulls to even guarantee getting a certain banner character. There’s no pity system as far as I can see and earning gems through non spending means takes way longer than how long the actual banners run. It may not be pay to win but it definitely is frustrating for anyone who doesn’t spend money.

Good but has some issues

The overall game experience is pretty good. You can finish chapters pretty fast and you receive a generous amount of gems from the quests and whatnot. The game is relatively easy. However, a big problem that I’ve come across is the little amount of stamina we can accumulate. Almost every quest costs 7 energy, and that burns through really fast when you’re farming for materials. A couple of solutions to this would be to provide more stamina to players or reduce the energy cost of quests. That’s not the only problem though. Drop rates for materials is pretty bad which also correlates to the stamina problem. It already takes a lot of stamina just to get materials to fill up the ability board. And that’s with the campaign for double drop rates. Once the campaign is over, I can’t imagine how horrendous it would be to farm materials, even for paid players. Another issue is limiting the number of times we can do the level up quests. I really don’t understand what the goal is in trying to limit our progress by only giving us 3 tries for USJ and level up quests. It kind of makes the gaming experience less fun since players will have to wait for the next day just to get level up materials for their characters. Other than that, the game is pretty good and I hope to see improvements in the future.

I’ve played this game for a while and I genuinely find it being a top favourite. There’s a variety of characters and it keeps up with the show for the most part. My biggest complaint is the implementation of DX pieces. Before, you could comfortably pull for characters without needing to pay. You got fairly rewarded for characters you already had. However, DX pieces require you to pull a character you already own. This gets so difficult when your character is a UR and somewhat out of pocket. Also, you need 3 of these to complete their board and you only get one piece per duplicate. Not to mention specialty characters, whom you can’t pull for at all. I think there should be a way to purchase DX in the gear shop or a way to trade DX pieces. I’ve pulled probably upwards of 20 times now and still can’t get a duplicate of my desired character, even though he’s in the pool. One more thing I would like to seem implemented is more permanent designated pools. Maybe a pull costs more in terms of gems, but you get a smaller pool that you want. For example, a villain pool, where every character you can get is a villain. Similar in concept to the type recruit, but maybe it could last for longer. Overall, the game is awesome. Impeccable art, easy to understand, and easy to play through. I would absolutely recommend this app 👍🏻

Great game small issues

First off I’d like to start off by saying since naruto Ultimate ninja storm blazing has been removed from the AppStore’s and the game no longer works, this game has surpassed my love for UNB. The art the voice overs the animations everything is amazing! This game took it further! And you guys did an amazing job at that. The only issue I do find more commonly is the chat option when you join a clan or whatever you call it. I speak regularly like this for example and everytime I try to hit send, it’ll say “ you cannot use that word. “ but I’m not using any foul language ? I hope you read this ! Love when game developers respond to client concerns it just translates how much you love your game. Even now without you guys even trying you’re showing all of us how much you love this game with all these cool updates and events!! Keep up the great work ! 🫶🏼 will be playing this game until you guys finally put it to rest for new horizons, I’d just like to say you earned yourselves a lifelong fan right here can’t wait to see what else you guys cook up ✨

Phenomenal Game

Honestly great. You don’t have to spend a penny if you don’t want to because it’s not a pay to play. If you turn your resolution and frame rate to low, it doesn’t eat your battery or get hot. My only wish for this game would be an option for all subtitles. I want to know what my home screen characters are saying! It makes me so sad not knowing what they’re trying to tell me. I even tried google translate but it couldn’t detect the audio correctly. I want to know what my characters are commenting in battle! I know they’re saying something important, and I want to know! It’s eating me alive. Please, if someone could send me even the Japanese audio transcripts that I could translate myself, I would absolutely love it. I can’t hear very well so I can’t even try and guess what they’re saying. This game is so great though. Only download it if you want to spend time without even realizing it. Also, I have no idea why people are commenting on the drop rates, because I have like 6 UR characters and a bunch of SRs without much work. I think they changed it to have better rates so good luck!

Amazing, but some issues

I’ve been playing this game for a while now, and I LOVE it. So many different characters, so many unique parts, and much more. That’s the good! There ARE some issues that should be addressed though; for one thing, it endlessly kicks me back to the title screen, and never saves my battles when it happens; and it hasn’t even let me into the game ever since the update happened Friday. The stamina requirement is horrendous, it’s awful when your trying to farm for items for an ability chart, and the item itself barely drops, unless it’s a campaign. It’s awful trying to pull for characters as well, because it takes absolutely FOREVER to even get 50 gems most of the time, and even then you just get the same common freaking characters/memories OVER and OVER again 😵‍💫 PLEASE change something about those, this game has gone really far, and in my opinion, could go even further. Have a wonderful day/night/evening/morning to whoever is reading this! ☺️

Good (Besides Glitches)

This is a good game I am not doubting that, generous gem system, pretty generous Free Summons and stuff like that, and fun gameplay. This game has basically all of that and is pretty fun and generous with the awakening mission rewards buttttt that’s where the problem starts, The Awakening Missions, Now i’m not saying it’s bad to help people fully level up a character basically no, it’s really good actually. The problem is the basically game breaking glitch that comes with the missions, eventually you are going to get stuck on a mission, mostly due to it’s difficulty but the other thing, being the game breaking glitch so what can I say about this glitch, it basically is a soft lock, I am on the mission of beating any VE tower difficulty A mission with Todoroki. I completed it like more than once with Todoroki in difficulty A but the mission wouldn’t let me get the 100 Memory Stones, I did it twice and it still doesn’t work. While I recommend the game to other people who like the MHA series: I would warn them about this game breaking glitch, so please fix it, please and thank you

Crashes A LOT

First of all let me say, this is the best My Hero Academia game on mobile device. Love the game but hate the constant crashing that occurs during Plus Ultra animations or when you hit the “Next” button. I tried playing the “Ultra Arena” and the game crashed when the opponent’s next character came in after one was defeated. When I tried to get back I got a message saying because the match was interrupted my match was considered a loss. Now that’s not fair. I’ve considered putting money into the game because it’s fun and I want more but I don’t see a point if I’m gonna be penalized because of the game crashing. Based on the reviews I’ve seen for this game I’m not the only one with this issue so clearly it’s not a device issue. I’d like to give it a 5 star review but I can’t bring myself leave that kind of review with all the crashing this game does. If not fixed, this game will always just be a good game that could’ve been great or at least enjoyable, not playable.
