Legends of Heropolis DX is Kairosoft at its best. If you've played any of their other management sims, you know the loop: build, upgrade, and watch your town flourish. But adding the superhero element gives it a much-needed injection of action. Balancing the needs of your citizens with the necessity of training a hero squad to fight off giant monsters is a fantastic hook.

The 'DX' version feels much more balanced than the original mobile release, with less focus on microtransactions and a smoother progression curve. The pixel art is as charming as ever, and seeing your heroes evolve from basic recruits into legendary defenders is very rewarding. It’s a deep, time-sink of a game that rewards careful planning and city layout optimization. A must-play for fans of simulation and strategy games.

City Layout Matters

Place shops near your heroes' homes. Happy heroes train more effectively and earn more money for the city coffers!

I play all of the games and this is one isn’t short of spectacular and I also think you should make a karate game or something similar you could have set up just like the boxing one you have but that’s just food for thought anyway keep making these game I appreciate them so much 🤞🏽❤️

The games okay for about 5-6 gameplay hours. But then it’s fairly disappointing. I din’t see a lot of replay value compared to other titles. The beginning isn’t that clear. Several things you find out by chance. Don’t recommend it. Hopefully some updates will make it better?

These game developers keep me sane. I’m always excited for the next release or update of their games. I think I’ve been playing Kairosoft games for at least a decade now. So thankful for all the hard work that goes into these little games.

You can tell they just removed the microtrasactions but didn’t rebalance the game to account for it. Getting new suits/upgrading is way too hard. Throw us a bone do we can actually progress after the second “story”.

I love Kairosoft games. I was excited for this, but the controls are off on the iPhone 15 pro. The cursor does not appear where I tap and it is difficult to place buildings. Otherwise, it is a typical Kairosoft game with some obscure rules.

Boring

The game basically plays itself, amidst all the classic Kairosoft interruptions to gameplay with pop-ups. This game doesn't know what it wants to be as it has an identity crises. What it actually is, is a clicker.
