I love this game. i have been sick and tired of all the low quality, ad-ridden, monotonous games that are constantly on the top of the “free games” list on the app store, and by god does this offer a phenomenal change of pace. this game is, simply put, one of the best games i have ever played on a mobile device. i have never seen an ad in this game, and ive been playing for at least a week. the game has great graphics, an amazing orchestral soundtrack, and even better sound effects. the first time it rained in the game, i had headphones on, and i genuinely checked to see if it was raining outside. it’s that good. it has extremely simple tap or swipe controls, with alternative controls if you dont like them. while it does have one of those systems where you spend energy to fight a battle, where the energy recharges over time, its not extremely annoying like all the others. the maximum amount of energy you have increases as you level up, and it recharges at a rate of about 1 energy every 5 minutes, which is plenty, as it recharges to almost 250 overnight at level 20. that much energy will last you an hour straight of battling enemies in this game. its amazing. i highly recommend anyone looking for a game to play to GET THIS GAME. THIS ONE. RIGHT HERE. you will not regret it for even a second. if this game costed money i would buy it in a heartbeat its so fun. this is the game youve been looking for, whether you knew it or not.

Fun game with problems.

First off, I would highly recommend this game to anyone. The graphic and sound design are phenomenal, and the game itself is a blast. However, it does have its share of problems. Almost everything has a daily limit, and I feel this limit is too strict. Sometimes, it makes some sense with hunts and the portal, but there’s already an energy system in the game. Only being able to do each hunt 5 times a day is fine because there’s multiple hunts to do, and the portal because one doesn’t want the player to achieve all of the rewards so fast. However, I believe the limit system should be used for each individual favor, portal battle, etc. instead of a total limit. The current system is way too restricting and makes the game much grindier as one has to wait a day to do certain things. The limit system is sometimes fine on its own, however with the energy system it is ridiculous. The only time the two systems come together is for hunts which is fine, but the portal, monster cave (which I think the torches for entering are too rare), favors, and others shouldn’t be this restricting. I also believe the energy system should be a little faster. Other than that, good game.

Sorry to downgrade…

I’ve been playing almost since the release. It was good for my stroke recovery. But in recent months the “upgrade” set many of us back. I was finally able to beat the top levels, gain the rewards and raise up my characters. But the upgrade created a divide those who had been at the top for a while had the resources to advance quickly and just murder the other players. I could nolonger hold my own. That and they never fixed the team combat. Level 49 groups are oft pitted against lv70 teams it’s gotten so bad that the last game two teams didn’t even play. My rating will continue to fall till they rethink these issues… I’ll give up my leadership role and finally withdrawal completely and go back to just puzzles… So… getting what feels like near the end, been years and it’s been fun. Good for my stroke damage. Good people online. But the game is running low on challenges, half or more of the rewards you work so hard for turn into nothing … the open challenges with other teams are plagued with people who cheat and game the system…. So it’s becoming less fun. Amassing a lot of assets now because there little worth spending on.

Never actually get to play the game

This isn’t a slander or a low blow towards “Knight Hood” i wanna start by saying I absolutely love this game from the art style down to the play style it’s been years since I was this interested in a mobile game so I wanna say thank you! NOW! The issue in my opinion is energy I hate the energy system it’s as if the game doesn’t want you to even play it because of how much energy is needed to do “Roaming monsters” and then there is energy need for arena leagues (tickets) and you can only acquire those through the ticket booth which believe it or not you have to wait hours to receive there is also a energy like system with cave monster as well you can only do cave raids if you have torches and guess what you only get torches every once and awhile you see what I mean? The energy restoration is very very and I mean VERY slow takes hours to get energy back just for it to be blown in seconds which makes me feel as if the game is just nothing more than a marketing scheme yk? When you open it up you get hit with three adds to buy gems or gold from the game and guess what the only way you can buy lives (energy) is with gems the only way to get gems is to do daily quests or get them from a chest and if you have no lives you can’t do daily quest to get gems my point is that I spend more time waiting to play the game then actually playing it

I love the game but...

This is a fantastic game, hence everyone else’s responses, but I wish the hunts made sense. I just recently got into the game as I mean it just came out but it really seeps into the idea of pay to win. Which I mean you don’t have to but to get anywhere or progress you do, the weapon development//upgrading is already beginning to feel very grind-like (which I don’t necessarily mind) but the issue is it doesn’t pay off well. Even after referring back to hunts when progressing into the game 6 turns is ridiculous, I was even tempted to pay (which I don’t mind either but I don’t want to pay for something in which the money I spend is going to require me to end up spending kore to catch up.) all in all I love the game but it’s lacking the engaging experience of progression through earning and I feel like it falls short for that reasoning. I’m personally going to continue to play but just like clash royale eventually the money grab will get on my nerves and rather than wanting to pay I won’t pay at all. I needed a new mobile game in which I just hope these little issues can be reduced and the game could be one of the best games to be released on the App Store. I just hope the devs are actually listening and aren’t trying to monetize as bad as candy crush was. Godspeed and I hope the best for this game.🙏🏽

A good game, but would be better with some gameplay improvements.

The concepts in the game are great. It’s fun, engaging, and eats up time when you’re bored. A few suggestions I have for updates are - when you are completing hunts, the “turn” count should be based on the actual attacks. For example one turn= four attacks. You get 3 stars for 6 turns, 2 stars for 7-9 and 1 star for 9+. I’m not sure if zero stars is an option unless you lose. Anyways, some of the hunts have phases with MANY enemies. 6 turns is nearly impossible, but I have done it with 6 turns and one attack on my 7th turn without using the remaining 3 attacks, therefore not using my full turn. This should be modified somehow, especially on the hunts with more enemies. It doesn’t really make sense if you think about it and it’s keeping me from progressing even though my level is plenty high enough. - the second suggestion is, the weapons, heroes, armor, etc should be more balanced in distribution. Why am I still be granted level 1 armor when I’m level 15 as rewards? Why do I have multiple classes of heroes and zero of others (even though I’ll need them for the next level but won’t have them?). If things were more balanced and more logical the game would be a little better.

Revised, great game but…

Now, I do love this mobile game, I really do, I have spent more time on this game than any other mobile game; and I have to say/type my honest opinion. This game is really deserving 5 stars but it has started to become more of a chore than a game to play; what do I mean by that, well, I have gotten the mythic armor and weapons that the game initially pushes you towards. But outside of the rift, the armor and weapons are really nothing special in terms of completing the main story of the game; I am currently level 49 and I can’t even get past the first section of Karnheim!!! My armor and weapons are rated level 49 and the enemies are level 45…you would think that I should be able to press forward with the story but no…I can’t seem to get past this section!! I mean the devs really push the mythic items but I would have rather have unique armor and weapons; like I stated before, the rift power only matters in the rift; not outside which honestly is stupid beyond all reasoning! I really hope that the devs are reading the ratings and do something about this totally unbalanced system of mythic gear being useless outside the rift; otherwise, I will have to find another game to occupy my time. It will be sad if they do read this review and don’t do anything about it; thanks for your time.

Good but not good

So this game is a story driven game where you can join a guild to get some extra stuff like damage boosts to certain bosses and earn some characters though not many. I was excited at first about this game when I started playing it but I found some things that ruined the game for me. FIRST, there is a ranking at the coliseum but you can only battle other players pre set load out of their armor and weapon and whatever helpers they have. SECOND, there is a limit of energy per day you can use and it’s a cool idea but it just ruined the emotion of excitement of not wanting to stop playing the game at the beginning. THIRD, this game does NOT feel like it should be pvp in the sense that I have to fight someone else’s pre load out instead it should be a live pvp because it’s kind of easy to beat someone around your level unless they’re like 3 to 5 levels higher. FOURTH, there should be a party up system where you can join players that are trying to do the same mission or party up with a random group to help them do a mission you have done before if there is no one available for the mission you’re stuck in. This game would be much better if it was made around helping each other instead of just a solo player story that’s limited by time because that will ruin many players experience and excitement to keep going when they can’t because their energy ran out.
