There’s More…

As a super fan of HLT, the wait for HL seemed like forever but was well worth it. The attention and effort paid to the minutia of little physics details makes for a game that surpasses what one would reasonably expect for an 8-bit basketball game. Having read other reviews, I must say that I’ve been fortunate enough to not encounter any of the bugs others claim to experience. There are some aspects of the franchise mode that are still missing, but I’m either aware or just placing my well deserved faith in Koality’s further development of the game to add them down the line. We know trades will be added soon, which is pretty much requisite for a full fledged league mode. Absolutely NEED and hope for the addition of a simple HOF line in HLT if not something statistically more elaborate. A big specific for me with switching my legacy league over to HL would be the transfer and inclusion of our HOF from HL, which would include individual accomplishments already on the resume of current and soon to be retiring players. For example, I have a player from my legacy league soon to retire, but on the cusp of setting a new record with his 7th championship. I really hope those sorts of statistical details can be incorporated and not lost. My only complaint really, would be that the CPU offense is very basic quite often with little to no ball movement and no attempt to make obvious passes to open teammates. Otherwise… excellent so far and can’t wait for more!

Good game

You see this game is not like any ordinary mobile basketball game. You can have your own career mode your franchise mode. If you buy premium, you can get even more modes. The reason why so much is because the creativity and the different types of style it has not being you can only play one thing, if I had to choose, which one would be my favorite I would choose career mode. It has amazing storylines where you can pick your own college. It may not be the same college that you wanted to be, but at least they have a college to go to college next thing is if you buy premium, you get more things to the game, like you can make your own team, you can build your own character. I mean, you can build your own character. You can have him in your own roster for the NBA team that you want to have. You can also look in the Discord when you look into the Discord, you can choose customize builds so you can get your build up to which one you want you could, make your own team/rosters for like the NBA or like actual colleges for the premium though the bad side of it is cost $4.99 which it shouldn’t be a problem if you want premium pack so badly love this game keep doing what you’re doing and great game

Future Updates

Hello I would like to share updates that would make this game more better the 1st is the crowd in the game all of the people in the crowd have the same hair style for the ladies and the boys and also they are all sitting in the same position like nothing has happened in the past game so what you might need to do is maybe put more movement into the crowd so we players can at least play it more realistically like the people should be walking to there seats and people recording and standing up and cheering because right now the people in the crowd is just sitting there in one position. Another update that I would like to be done is how in the world does the players get to the away game? Like yea your probably like “it’s a simulated game” but you should add like a feature of the players on the plane getting to the away game destination and in the fashion tunnel where they get to walk and show the players getting ready in the locker rooms and stuff. Another update that should be done is the players celebrations also when a player hits a game winner in a game the players just put there hands up and down that’s not showing enough gratitude of winning the game the players should be running to the player who shot the game winner instead of them putting there hands up that’s all I have to say. I really love this game please make these your updates thank you.

Loaded Potential

The game is literally the best basketball mobile game I ever played in my entire life only reason why those three stars aren’t five, due to the fact y’all just release the greatest beta updated I been waiting for every since y’all let it be known it was coming with the next update. That’s the mycareer update I won’t lie I had zero expectations going into the mycareer game mode due to it being an mobile game didn’t expect anything good or exciting was worth while regarding it. Once I played and seen we can play in high school, which I am slightly disappointed we only get to play one high school game I understand to speed the process up to get drafted especially since y’all allow us to play a full college season not sure if it’s multiple but I’ll love to have the option to have more high school game. Currently their a glitch going on maybe it just for me but I try every method I can think of to fix it nothing works, I even started over twice and still ran into the same issue but as soon as I get to my first college game and we get an dead ball the ref glitch’s and never inbound the game and their nothing I can do about but sim the game. Even sim the game doesn’t work cause the following game I play nothing else works and it’s extremely frustrating and I would love for it to be fix immediately cause I invested money in y’all game and I wanna play badly!

Hoop land improvement needed

I love this game very much but honestly I thought it could be way more interesting like for every 5 star player they could have a nickname and also to make it more fascinating I would add a Olympic series for the HL league after the finals. Then I thought that the latest update was amazing with the three point contest but I thought you should add a dunk contest including 3 more dunk styles like the tomahawk and more. Also I thought that the person who say like Lebron from three should say that and more sentence. Overall the game is entertaining so keep it up. Also you should add a park and make it harder to get on fire like five shots in a row. Also make a goat mode after you score 50 points. Also can you add a park. Maybe could you make networths to see how much you have in career. Also allow you to buy like cars and houses and others in career. Another feature I think should be added is that you can have your own HL2k25 place to play and you can play the game actually. Also I would love it if we had a high school league also so we have more time to progress.

Hard cpu and shoot meter also Jersey

I want to sincerely express my gratitude for the hard work that has gone into creating this game. A lot of thought and effort has been invested. However, I've noticed that career mode can sometimes feel a bit too easy. For instance, it’s disheartening to see scores like 76 to 156 against the CPU, as it takes away from the competitive spirit we all enjoy. The inconsistency can be puzzling too; in some games, the CPU performs well, while in others, it struggles significantly. Additionally, the shot meter can be a source of frustration. There are moments when it indicates a "good shot," yet the ball still misses, which can take the wind out of your sails. Despite these challenges, I genuinely believe the game has incredible potential and is truly enjoyable. On another note, I think adding names on the back of the jerseys and including the team name from their city on the front would be a fantastic touch. A line that features both the player's name and jersey number could enhance the experience even further. Thank you for considering this feedback!

Minor fixes

I really love this game. It is a better version of retro bowl. And I have played it for over 70 hours now and I have a few things that NEED to be changed. There needs to be an easier way to intentionally foul in this game. It is the most frustrating thing ever being down 1 or 2 and theoretically still having a chance but then not being able to foul because the controls are so difficult. There should be a button in the bottom left whenever you would want to foul and all you have to do is click that button. There also needs to be more help in stopping fast breaks since many times someone just runs down the court while the defender is behind them and they have an easy slam. There is also a problem when the opponent(CPU) gets an inbound on there side of the court where they always have a really easy lob to slam. Finally there needs to be a boost for defensive rebounding. Why is the CPU ever grabbing nearly as many offensive boards than the defense.

This game is INSANE!! But some stuff I don’t like

This game is really fun, but this is the problem, I put NBA players in it by NBA 2k26, I not done though, anyways, so I put the starting lineups, I play Commissioner, I fix the starting lineups, then I play the game, Literally probably one player, example Rui Hachimura is playing as PF right, he only plays for 1 second, this gets subbed for LaRavia, That literally just happened, so I want one change on that, can u pls let us get to choose what our starting lineup will be, and not make Ai change it into what they think, that bothers me so much, I HAVE FIX 30 TEAMS!!😭😭😭. Other than that, this game is literally NBA2k, I love this game, I spend HOURS playing this cool game, oh also why does like the game like crash, like every like 50 minutes playing this game, I just get logged out of the game without saving something, IT MAKES ME SOOOOO MAD!!!!! But I still love the game, every day I literally check if there an update, I love this game and I hope u change the Ai starting lineups!
