Frontier War feels like a love letter to the golden age of Flash tower defense games, but with a modern polish that makes it pop on a high-res screen. The balance between tower placement and hero micromanagement is perfect; I never felt like I was just sitting back watching the game play itself.
The difficulty curve is steep—expect to replay some of the later levels in the Frozen Tundra—but it’s the kind of challenge that makes you rethink your entire strategy rather than just reaching for your wallet. It’s easily one of the most rewarding TD titles I’ve played this year.

Tips & Walkthrough
On earlier levels, focus on creating 'choke points' where multiple towers can hit the same spot. Place a 'Barracks' tower to stall enemies in that zone while your 'Mage' towers deal area-of-effect damage. Don't forget to upgrade your hero's level as soon as possible to unlock their secondary stun ability.
Gameplays
Unlike static towers, your hero can be moved freely across the map. Use them to intercept fast-moving 'Scout' enemies that leak through your primary defenses. Timing your hero's ultimate ability is the key to surviving the final boss wave.
