The case for accessability to visually impaired/blind players

I have always loved learning about the Arthurian legends and all that. However, this is not really possible if you can’t play games like that with no accessability, is it? I’m a totally blind person, and this game sounds neat. It would be even more so if people like me and those with visual impairments could play. As I said, I’m totally blind so don’t know if the visuals are contrasted enough for VI (visually impaired) people to use. Please make this so in your updates. For totally blind and visually impaired people, you could connect this game to the Unity Engine so that it is self-voiced through there. You could also make it self-voiced like the game “A Blind Legend.” Another way is to hook the game up with Apple’s VoiceOver. This, allowing people like me to navigate the iDevice’s screen, would do so with the game as well. Of course, you can make the digital person within the game/the characters, that is, sighted and/or blind at some points. However, if you do this, please try to portray the blind character positively without stereotypes as are often heard in the blindness community—stereotypes not given here, but many exist. Very expensive

So I’ve been playing this game for over a year now but there’s a problem. If you ever want to keep up you have to put down a lot of money. If you wanna get anything done that requires a lot of stuff you gotta spend well over $100 just so you could upgrade. Armor being $50 a piece and skins are gonna run you $200-$300. Yes the skins have stats if you have enough of them. This game pushes for you to buy so you can keep up. They don’t match your kingdom with other kingdoms by power level instead the way they match you is depending on how much money that kingdom has spent which ultimately results in being paired with a kingdom that is too strong. You can’t enjoy any of the events because even in there the push to buy is constant. I reported an issue with an event that I missed out on rewards for the whole week and I asked for compensation only to get a sorry for your inconvenience and no compensation. Don’t install this game unless you want to go broke. It’s not worth the time or the money to play. More and more kingdoms die weekly so don’t be surprised if you join a kingdom and that kingdom becomes inactive. To the koa staff please listen to your players because clearly you haven’t done anything about it. Too many issues have been spoken about from plenty of other players that can’t enjoy the game because of issues stated above. I hope to see things change and be fixed.

Good Game

As a person who is new to this type of game playing, it took awhile for me to understand. However once I did I enjoyed logging in and growing with my alliance. The visuals and events are all interesting and fun. The chatting between players is great. Yet there are some things in this game which makes me give it three stars instead of five. For instance, the game gets kinda boring fast. Everyday is the same thing. Hunt and gather, and while the events are great for fresh players after awhile you realize that they are just the same events over and over again. Lastly, the constant need for the developers to push their “ buy buy buy” equipment is annoying. Especially when some of the events are specially made to get you to spend money. An example, they had an event were daily tasks get you awards, like a treasure chest, but then to open that treasure chest you need to buy the key. Stuff like that gets annoying really fast and takes the fun out of taking part in this events. Besides, that dealing with the “Rich Players”, that automatically upgrade through buying all those specialty items and the constant need to find an alliance that won’t kick you out at the next day can be a drag but overall once you find your place, the game can be entertaining to play.

After almost 3 years

King of Avalon took my attention from the first days. I played and enjoyed the game since 2017 and keep on enjoying it. So many people left so many people came to this game. But those who stayed they became very close friends. The graphics and designs are improving. The game becomes more affordable. All I can say this game is the only strategy game that keeps me coming back and spend some time in it. But most important is that those people who play in your alliance are the ones who drive you back to game. At the beginning I spent a lot believe me 5 figures was almost not enough yearly spending to stay top 3 in kingdom. Now they make it more interesting with events so free players and low spenders can enjoy the game too. I hope this game will be pushing harder on making more affordable so people don’t have to worry about cheaters. Play and pay but not only pay to play. Thank you very much whole team who makes this game more interesting. And little suggestion for new comers, if you are mentally unstable please stay away from this game. It’s very emotional driving game! Politics in this game is very important. More friends more chances to enjoy the game! Have fun and best wishes from all FIP and KOA members in kd399😇

Good game for any age

I Dont Know a lot about the game, I still trying it but I’m going to be honest with you, what got me into try and play this game, it’s the advertisement I always watch playing another games, it’s hilarious and make it look more interesting, FINALLY a game that People promotes kinda fun environment for almost every age ?? I still checking the game, so I may be wrong?? Maybe not?? But until now, I’ve been seeing a lot games supposed to be for kids and promoting a lot “ adult reality “ for not putting in another way ( example husband cheating his pregnant wife and left her by herself ) not gonna say name of the games lol Hahahaha that in my opinion is not appropriate for very young age, so you guys have very healthy view of things that really make me interested in the game ( I may be wrong what’s going on inside of the game / every game has their problem with toxic People or even scammers, but until now, I love it!! ) Sorry for the long review but I really need to pointed out about how you guys attract People to the game and you guys got my respect and a loyal player :)

Avoid this game

Let me tell you how this “strategy” game works. Spend lots of money buying gear, gemstones, banners, etc., boost your stats, and mindlessly attack anyone who you were able to outspend. Whoever calls this a strategy game I want to fight a war against you because you have no sense of what a strategy is. This is not a strategy game but rather pay to get ahead and takes no thought to beat your opponents. Those who spend the most money dominate this game and are impossible to defeat. They take anything and everything they want and within a matter of seconds can ruin years of work. Example: I spent a good year building up traps to defend my base and in one attack they were gone as well as 400K troops. Hospitals only hold so many troops and when that capacity is met all the rest die. We have a level 35 guy in our kingdom to wipes out entire alliances just because he can and support does nothing to help. You WILL have to pay tens of thousands of dollars to compete with these players or spend the next 10 years of your life gathering enough resources to progress that far. Avoid this game like the plague or you will leave it feeling like you completely wasted your time. Anyone who says they have never spent a single dollar on this game is lying as well. Right when you start you have to spend money or “top up” to unlock certain features.

Customer support? Yeah right 🤣

The only reason I’m not giving 0 stars or even still playing this god awful game that’s only out for your money ( you need to spend thousands of real money just to survive) is the people I’ve become friends with. If it allowed me to post screenshots I could prove it. It’s the only good thing left. Game lags and glitches every single war event. Solar kingdom gets nothing event wise compared to lunar. Millions of game errors 0 actual fixes or compensation for the errors. Try to talk to customer service to fix a problem? Don’t bother you get a generic prescripted message that basically says to bad and they close the case. You lost rewards? Money? An event do to bugs in the game? Oh well they don’t care to bad deal with it. I will never ever ever play another one of this companies games again nor will the over 100 people I met in this one. Shame too for them because we’ve all spent thousands a piece and refuse to spend another dime. They hit their wallets and there reputation with this one. 10 out of 10 recommend you save your time, money, and breathe and just stay away from this and all similar games by this developer. BUYER BEWARE! And I promise if you play you’re a buyer this cannot be played for free no matter what it says. Don’t believe me follow the reviews

Only the rich survives

. Generic customer service responses may come with this review telling me to offer suggestion how to better the game along with an email address. Do not be fooled by this copy and paste approach . Games like these are nice to play, not for long though maybe 1 day to 7 days then you quit for all eternity. It’s Kool to build friends in an alliance. I find these games are therapeutic and an entrapment. Don’t have a job well this one makes you pay them to work. Not bashing them though , these style of games flourish because ppl have a gambling nature, as do I . However I gamble investments now. If your reading this save your money and time. Do not pay this company or any mobile game that you have to compete with people you don’t know the state of their money to throw away without any feeling of loss. They could be hired by the company to reel you in or they just have a lot of money to burn , if you have a competitive nature you will feel down if you can’t win these wonderful people. Just play for fun and quit when you want , the game and story is worth something however not with its predatory approach. Reason I waste my time to write this knowing anyone can just read the reviews , well why not. It’s best to join the people telling you the truth. YOUVE BEEN WARNED
