Improvements to the graphical interface.
Friday is a masterclass in solo board game design, and this digital port is flawless. Created by the legendary Friedemann Friese, it’s a deck-building game where you play as Friday, trying to help a bumbling Robinson Crusoe survive a deserted island. The irony of the game is brilliant: Robinson starts off as a weak, useless deck of cards, and you have to 'cull' his bad habits while adding skills.
The difficulty is notorious—winning your first game feels like a genuine achievement. The app handles all the complex card interactions and math, allowing you to focus entirely on the strategy of when to take damage to remove bad cards from your deck. It’s deep, punishing, and immensely rewarding. If you enjoy roguelike deck-builders like Slay the Spire, you owe it to yourself to play the game that pioneered many of these concepts.

Draw hazard cards and use Robinson's current skills to meet the power requirement. If you succeed, the hazard card is added to your deck as a new skill. If you fail, you must pay life points, but this allows you to destroy weak cards permanently. Your goal is to cycle through the hazard deck three times, with each round becoming more difficult.
Once you have survived the three phases of the island, you must face two Pirate Ships. These are the ultimate test of the deck you have built. Use your accumulated abilities and life points to overcome their massive power requirements and win the game.
