Welcome back to Forgotten Hill! We've fixed an issue that may prevent the app from working on iPhone 12 and newer running iOS 15 and corrected some minor language mistakes.
Forgotten Hill First Steps is a chilling reminder of why FM Studio is at the top of the point-and-click horror genre. This collection remasters the three games that started it all—Fall, Puppeteer, and Surgery—and weaves them into a cohesive, terrifying narrative. The 'First Steps' moniker is apt; it’s an invitation into the grotesque world of Mr. Larson and the town of Forgotten Hill, but with significantly improved visuals and a more intuitive interface.
The puzzles are legendary for their difficulty and their morbidity. You’ll be solving riddles that often involve biological horrors or unsettling clockwork mechanisms. The atmosphere is thick with dread, supported by a soundtrack that never lets you feel truly safe. What makes this version essential is the 'Hint' system, which allows players to enjoy the dark storytelling without getting permanently stuck on some of the more abstract logic puzzles. It’s a masterclass in atmospheric indie horror that feels right at home on a touchscreen.

In the surgery clinic, pay close attention to the medical documents scattered around. The clues for the chemical puzzles are often hidden in the Colonel's notes.
Interact with objects to collect items and solve environmental puzzles. Use the hint system if you get stuck, but try to rely on your own logic to uncover the town's dark history.
No, it is rated 13+ due to frequent horror themes, grotesque imagery, and fantasy violence.
If you’re new to the Forgotten Hill series, you’re in for a treat! Strap in for a wild ride through lite versions of several key FH games, plus brand-new adventures. The puzzles are tough but not unsolvable. The art is top-notch. The music is spooky and atmospheric. Everything you love about FH is here! The reason this gets a 4 instead of a 5 is because there are some bugs in this version. The forest scene gets stuck on the left side of the map and seems to scroll through more steps than is shown on the grid. At times, it appears to default back to the beginning of the map. It’s unclear if that’s a glitch or not, but it’s confusing and not in a fun, puzzle way. Another bug is that the first Nightmare scene crashes repeatedly in the iOS for iPad version (14.6). Developers, fix the bugs and I’ll bump the rating to a 5. It really is good!
I’ve been playing the games on my Como for sometime now and decided to purchase for my phone. I click on things on the screen and it won’t budge. I’m replaying the games I had on my computer so I know what needs to be click but it won’t let me click anything on my phone! :( hope this gets fix ! Won’t be able to keep playing with out the click working
I have always enjoyed playing these kinds of games. This is one of the best. The puzzles are challenging. The great thing about the game is that it offers hints, double hints, and then does the solution for you if you can’t figure it out. I also found a walkthrough online. There was one puzzle I couldn’t figure out. Maybe it will be easier for you. I also liked the artwork, even though it was a little bit gory. You collect things like eyeballs, hearts, and brains.
I’m a long term fan, can’t wait to play the new game! However there seems to have a bug in the forest.
Twice as long as I expected it to be, with interesting puzzles and the perfect amount of creepiness and spookiness.
I loved this game. Perfectly challenging enough. The game is very long almost like five games in one!
Another fantastic point and click in the series. Love these games.
Loved it as I have loved all of them. One slight glitch, I never got the game book…, the rest was very cool and morbid! Great job!
Solve logic puzzles to collect memories to move through five different chapters. During your stay, you will encounter creepy characters...
