Forest Island is a beautiful idle oasis designed to help you de-stress. Restore a desolate island by growing lush forests and inviting diverse wildlife, from foxes and deer to rare birds and marine life. Unlike frantic tycoon games, Forest Island focuses on tranquility, featuring high-quality white noise and calming music. Expand your island, upgrade your habitats, and take a moment to breathe as you watch nature flourish in the palm of your hand.

Forest Island is less of a game and more of a digital sanctuary. The ASMR soundscapes—the sound of wind through leaves and gentle waves—are some of the best I've heard in any app. It’s an idle game, but it doesn't pressure you to optimize or spend money; it simply wants you to relax.

Watching your island grow from a small rock into a thriving ecosystem filled with deer, wolves, and birds is incredibly satisfying. The 'Rest' mode is a highlight, allowing you to just sit and watch your animals interact. If you're stressed, this is the app you need on your home screen.

Clever and Rewarding

This game is extremely good. Unlike most mobile games these days, this one doesn’t bombard you with ads. And if you do decide to watch an ad, they’ll reward you! You get pearls for watching ads and the ads are only for extra money/energy (The amount you get is usually exponential and allows you to grow your island even faster.), hearts, seasonal rewards, and more. What’s cooler is that these rewards stack! You can complete a quest, a seasonal quest, get energy, and get pearls if you do it right. I do have some gripes about it though. I’m wondering why I’m not able to move the camera around in the biomes during rest mode. I’m only able to move the Tree of Rest Camera. I wanna be able to see my animals without the menu. Next I’ve noticed that if you unlock a type of animal before you have it’s biome, it gets sent to another one. For instance, I got the Summer Llama before I had the Llama biome. So it went to Deer Meadows. The albino raccoon I unlocked from logging in is on the Tree of Rest. I now have the Llama and Raccoon biomes though and my second summer llama is with the other llamas. I’d like to be to put my animals back where they belong. The raccoon is taking up a lot of space in the bunny’s home and the llama sticks out like a sore thumb amongst the deer. I would really love it if I could put these animals back where they belong so it looks like it was supposed to. All in all, this is a phenomenal mobile game that gives you compensation for wasting 30 seconds of your life on crummy ads.

BEST GAME EVER! Just one small problem,

This is by far the best game ever. It calms my mind when I am feeling stressed and I'm in love with the music! It reminds me of cats and soup but better. Plus it's free! I just love it. I get lost on this game for hours because it's calming music and cute animals. The only problem is that the prices for things are too high like 22 real dollars for 500 ad tickets! Like come on! Some little kid might spend all of their money on this game just to find out the tickets just get stuff and that's it. I love this game and do recommend this game but please do drop the prices to at least 4.99 for the 500 one. It's crazy and kids might pay too much and waste their money on this game. Anyways, this game is the best game I have yet. The music and the noises in the game could make me fall asleep. The animals are super cute! And they walk and eat so cute. ❤️ As a fellow kid over all I recommend this game highly, unless you hate being calm and relaxed lol. Enjoy this game.❤️ NOTE TO DEVELOPER: Please do drop the prices to a price that kids can afford because most kids won't spend this much money on this game unless its cheaper. I would have spent about 50 dollars if the prices werent so high. But because of that I spent 0. I love this game and all its features and I'm hoping to buy something from this game, but only if the prices are lower. Thanks. 😀

Lower Heart Requirements For New Animals

As the title says, that's my biggest gripe with the game. I have no qualms with new animals being what unlocks autocollection, but when you get the special animal Before the normally purchased one, it is very frustrating that the special one doesnt do the same thing. For the past week or two, I have been stalled out on the sheep (the previous 2 as well were a bit annoying, but this one is most egregious). I only visit this game once or twice a day, for personal reasons, but (the second gripe) it is unfair that it is so hard to progress if one is unable or unwilling to pay money and/or watch 30+ ads (and I Do watch the ads! I let my mind wander for 30 second increments and get back to the grind of... watching more ads). Simply making it easier to get at Least the first autocollector animal would do wonders for balance. One (admittedly perhaps naive) suggestion to get money to keep the game afloat beyond the ads and convenient 'buy a stack of skip ad coupons' would be a flate rate for the game to Not show ads for a time. That 'time' being forever seems impractical with the model of money making already set up, but maybe a buck or two per week, reasonably scaling up to a month/ 3 months/ 6 months/ a year. I have no ill will for devs wanting to make money, the game is adorable and I love seeing the little turtles hurl themselves across the beach! But as much as I want the devs to make a good living wage, I do wish it were more common to meet consumers in the middle.

Yall,omg! Read!!! :D

Ok,so I’ve seen this a few times and went “ok cool whatever?” And clicked off the ad,but I’m on a very chaotic trip rn and was just chillin in my hotel when I got an ad so I said ykw looks fun? And downloaded it! (I’m a kid btw so I enjoyed this even as a younger person) This app is very nice, the music at the start was amazing, catchy and smooth! Very relaxing I suggest air pods or any headphones just to block out noise and enjoy the sounds of your animals and the nature! I love how they made this look, the Animlas are very cute :D I found the start a little chaotic but it’s actually turns out simple once you understand,I caught on quickly and I just go it today and already am at my “deer meadow” so it’s nice and easy gameplay,I enjoy the fact you can go into “rest mode” and just vibe to the sounds of the trees, wind, water and animals! As someone who likes animals and nature a lot this was very nice and relaxing! I very much like this idea and this game is way better then i expected,I will much be playing this a lot! Great game for anywhere,at home, going out,on a plane especially cuz it would be a good time user and fun! Over all it’s amazing so far! P.s for anyone who stayed through all this :YES you do have to pay for things but not to play or get animals just if you want extra gems, nature “stars” ect,or special animals other wise FREE! And I haven’t found any adds yet! Edit:I have found adds but like 3 :D free of adds basc!

Fun and entertaining, but…

I love this game and it is really relaxing and my little cousin and I have started to play just today and we both really like it. The thing is is that there is a lot of paid content. There should be a way to get at least a few of the paid creatures but make it, like, hard. I have read some of the reviews and they are right. There is a lot of paid content but there are also really cute animals you can get just from playing and enjoying the game. I am a young woman and my little cousin has turned 4 a couple weeks ago and we enjoy this game together. It’s kind of hard to find a game for such a big age difference that is actually fun for basically all ages because I try to find games and lots include reading but this one includes some that you have to pay attention to but I can just read it to him. I recommend this game for people who are stressed and just need a break. Although… there should be lore. Where did the strange energy at the beginning of the game come from? Where do the islands come from? How do bears and bunnies get all the way to the middle of the ocean? THE OCEAN! You should really add some lore and make it easier to make an account. Thank you for reading all of this. Sorry it’s long. If one of the developers replies… I’ll check. Thank you and have a great time in your life and be thankful for what you have.

A ton of ads/paid content

Pros: Super cute concept and art style. You can both level up/increase the number of each animal, and each animal also has a ‘rare’ variant that can be gotten by opening chests. Once you’ve sufficiently leveled up each area, you get access to a unique nature audio that you could listen to while sleeping, meditating, etc. Definitely has a lot of potential. Cons: Ads everywhere. There’s the usual ones to triple your offline income and to get a set amount of in game money. But then there’s also ads to participate in daily events, open chests, complete goals, etc. You have no choice but to watch some number of ads to progress in this game, which is kind of lame. There’s also a lot of paid content. There’s both a battle pass and a ton of individual animals that you have to buy individually to get. The prices are generally low (a dollar for a frog, 5$ for a special bear), but those things add up quickly for consumers. There’s also this kind of unpleasant thing the devs have done with chests; when you use in game crystals (rare) to open a chest, instead of the usual accept/next/continue button, they put a button to spend more crystals on another chest and put the exit button off to the side. I have several times now accidentally/unwillingly spent crystals on additional chests I didn’t want.

It’s not a passion project

Although the game is beautiful, I am beyond disappointed by how few animals you can get without paying. They constantly beg you to buy expansion packs, and it’s a huge let down that I can’t host my favorite animals on my islands because the game only gives you a small selection- thirteen common animals and nine rare ones. It’s a calming game for sure, I love the sound effects and the music, and I really appreciate the “enjoy nature” mode where you can listen to the sounds of nature in each island. However, the positives do little to distract from how badly this game wants to profit off of you. If the developers made the game more out of their own passion, they would allow it to be enjoyed to it’s fullest by anyone willing to download. Instead, they allow only a small look into the promise of the game, and keep the rest closed off for only a small few to experience. While the instagram page does host events in which randomly selected people can win special upgrades, there are only around five winners for each event, and once it’s gone, there’s no way to pay for the missed upgrades in-game. Overall, it’s a good game if you have the money to pay for more and more upgrades. The freely downloadable game is a demo, though not advertised as such. It’s shocking how little of the game’s overall features are either inaccessible to those who download free, or completely lost in past events.

It’s okay…

🤩🦊🐰I’d like to start with how great this game is! Good job developers. I really liked the cute animals I saw and, being an animal lover and a person who loves photography, got the game. I really liked the cute animations and recommend the game to ppl who just want to chill and watch them🙂. But as I played for a few hours things started to bug me. First off, half the things I see cost 3-10 dollars. Than, comes the albums… I take about 2 minutes to get the perfect shot and I pay 50 gems to speed the printing up. 😥The picture doesn’t even go in the album😡! I’ve wasted more than 100 gems on picture to see them disappear into coins and not go in my album. Another thing is that the animations are to fast! I turn the camera to a bear standing and a few seconds later he’s in his cave where I can’t see him. A problem related to the prices: I have like, 3 animals in the water near my island saying to buy stuff or watch an add to get this. It’s annoying bcs they have the same coin icon or heart icon as the ones that show u can collect that stuff. So I always accidentally click it to find that I have to but it for like, 10 dollars. Those are all my problems. I know. U. It’s me like “Oh,i bet it’s not THAT bad!” The game isn’t bad at all, it’s just it has a few problems . Developers, please try to change these things! Thanks. Have a nice day everyone!🐺😊
