An Honest Review

Look I’ll be honest, there are micro transactions 100%. Do they help? 100%. However the way the game is setup it’s not game breaking. I’ve been playing for roughly 3 weeks and I’m in the top 5 on the power/prosperity leaderboard. I’ve spent $10 on .99¢ packs that help get resources. The real cherry on top is the longest wait time I’ve had while upgrading something is 4-5 hours and I’m already at civic center 19 (Main building) where other games you have to wait literal days. Before you even get that far. I also absolutely love how the hero’s are setup way better than rise of kingdoms. ALSO for PvE lovers there is a TON of PvE and how its setup is a 10/10 I love how PvP is setup to I’d say it’s a 9/10 only reason it’s not 10/10 is because your march doesn’t always go straight towards the enemy if your coming at them from an angle. Anyways that’s just my honest review. Thanks for reading.

Simply Awesome

This is a breath of fresh air to 4x strategy games. If you like rise of kingdoms, you will definitely appreciate this game. It’s honestly so much fun. No waiting on resources, and having troops readily available for every encounter is so much better than waiting hours or using all your speed ups or gems just to do battle. All of the major generals you expect are there. Honestly, I didn’t have much expectation for another civilization type game, but this one wipes the floor over others. The best part is “whales” are almost nonexistent, you actually have to play to have an advantage. It’s a fantastic game.

Pass only do not play

Game is no good. Once you hit a certain level you are completely gated to how much you can actually accomplish in a day. Resource looting and relic purifying are gated which will set you back in progression. Either pay us money to progress or get out. Alliances are hardcore p2w players who expect you to bleed for them or pay up to keep up. Not surprised this is the type of games we get now since this has been going on for years. I would pass on this game. Nothing new or innovative, not fun, ok art style, but no sense of progression due to gating. If that sounds like gameplay you want and you have unlimited funds, you should play. If you want a f2p experience with some pay features along the way, you should pass. I wish the AppStore would let you give 0 stars for apps and games, perhaps even negative like Steam reviews.

I know this game is new n all but I should be able to move servers without restarting my role. This game is similar to Empire games but the one thing it’s missing is the tickets for changing locations on the map or a bigger ticket to change servers. Of course their would be a limit like only players with LVL 10 CC and under could only relocate servers for future “Whale” disasters.

This was a good game

I will not lie and say that I do not like this game but there is nothing in it that makes it retain its player base as since the first season I will say we lost at least 50 people in are alliance that quit the game and I know of at least 100 more that also quit because they found that this game is losing its charm as people find nothing to make them want to play anymore of this game any longer and I will admit that I might quit this game if nothing changes going forward into season 3. But there is also the reason that this game feels like the company just wants are money and don’t care there they are losing there player base.

Just a question

So I just downloaded the game and am thrill to start off just noticed that is every civilization except African would have liked to see it was kinda excited to play it seeing all the others there but hope it comes later or something not a big thing but it's just a thought

It’s a fun game, very F2P friendly there isn’t a lot to spend money on. There ain’t a lot of “gathering” for resources. Everyone has a chance. Your “village” can’t be attacked. I gave the three stars because the events are so vague, if you don’t have a previous player on your team you won’t know what to do. There is no direction when it comes to the events. The info tab just shows rewards but no direction.

F2P friendly… until it isn’t.

I played this game for about three weeks in a fresh server. Made it into zone 3 and quickly realized a couple $10,000+ whales could tank an entire alliance. The game appears to be F2P friendly to a degree. But trust me people who wish to spend money can DIRECTLY buy power, level up their Civilization much faster, and unlock significantly more advanced troops much sooner. This game is NOT afk friendly if you even want to have a chance of keeping up with the power curve. I don’t recommend playing unless you want your life consumed.
