Minor bug fixes
Dyno captures the 'pumps' and the tension of real rock climbing better than any game I've played. The gesture-based controls are the standout feature; instead of just pressing buttons, you have to physically 'reach' for the next hold, which makes your heart race when you're at the end of your stamina bar.
The level design is fantastic, moving from dusty bouldering gyms to massive, wind-swept Himalayan cliffs. It forces you to think like a climber—you have to read the route before you start. The 'Dyno' mechanic itself is exhilarating, requiring a perfectly timed leap that feels amazing when you stick the landing. It’s a niche title that deserves a broad audience for its innovative mechanics and beautiful scenery.

Don't rush! Holding a grip for too long drains your chalk and stamina. Plan your next three moves before you leave a stable rest point.
A 'Dyno' requires an explosive swipe. Time your release perfectly to jump to far-away grips that are otherwise unreachable.
Yes, outdoor levels feature wind and temperature changes that affect your grip strength and stamina drain.
I have 100% completed this game in it's current state. Very fun game. It has very simple concepts and mechanics that are fully explored in more complex levels. Every level is unique, and even though some are easy, completing them at diamond times can still be challenging. As said in another review, if you claim the check point at the very edge of the rock, you won't be able to move when you respawn. Also level 21 on comet mountain doesn't have an out of bounds hitbox to my understanding. I fell for a minute straight. Also there doesn't seem to be a bonus level for comet mountain, but the game doesn't say it's 100% completed even though I have the rest of the levels completed. Final feedback: I want more mountains! Thank you devs for giving unlimited lives to early adopters... I needed them. I downloaded this in support of Ryan trahan's summer series, and immediately fell in love with the game. Time to to play more staple games ‼️
this game is absolutely amazing. minutes after i downloaded and started playing i was immediately hooked. going into it i wasn't expecting the levels to be too unique but every mountain has its own gimmick and is really fun. i also love that they added super difficult levels and different pathways up the mountain so you aren't forced to do them if they are too hard. on top of that there is absolutely no ads which is not often found in games. there is only one thing i would change in the game and that would be how long it takes to regen hearts. i feel like 30 minutes is just a bit too long. other then that this is a great game, and i hope they add more mountains to climb :)
Staple Games is normally known for releasing simple games without in-app purchases. So when I saw that this game contained in-app purchases, I was willing to give it a try, and I was shocked! This game is incredibly fun and intuitive. The controls, although floaty at first, are simple to understand and hard to master. Harder levels have you utilizing your own momentum in creative ways, and the gem pickups in each level have you figuring out the best way to reach them while also making it to the end. The loop of trial and error works nicely, similar to personal favorites like Celeste. It's a nice game to pick up and play when you have a bit of time. Give this game a shot, you won't regret it!
While there were some bugs that were very annoying earlier on, since those have been fixed, the game has been one of my favorites. There are only two things I want to point out, first is a slight bug that prevents the player from 100%-ing Comet Mountain, the game require you to complete diamond on level 26, (which doesn't exist). The second thing, is that it would be nice to be able to toggle a mechanic that allows you to see your meters climbed while climbing. (Amazing Game! Keep up the good work!)
First of all, I wouldn’t have found this game without watching Ryan Trahan. And I’m so glad I did end up finding it because it’s SO fun. It’s especially fun to speed run. Learning the techniques and the feeling of making the quick, smooth transitions from rock to rock is what makes this game so fun and unique. But there is one problem: considering that this game is big around speed running, the limited lives are really annoying and in my opinion, pretty unnecessary. And another suggestion that I think would make this game even more fun is if there was an “endless” or maybe like an “only up” mode. Otherwise, this game is really enjoyable and exciting so over all, y’all did a good job. But please! Take my suggestions into consideration. Thanks!
I have been trying to beat this level for three hours straight and can’t even get halfway through. At the very least it should be labeled as “Extremely Hard” because it is RIDICULOUS. Other than that, this game is super engaging and fun. Infinite lives by default would be great because of the pain of some levels. It’s understandable why the infinite lives isn’t already a thing because money is awesome and you want it, but i think it turns some people off due to the fact that a lot of people dislike ‘Real Money = Something that should already be in the game’. Sorry for the super long review. TLDR: Fun game; map 2 route 17 too hard: nerf it or change difficulty rating; Or give infinite lives.
This game is actually super addicting and there’s lots of things to try to accomplish like getting al diamond on all levels. Some things that I think would make it better would be: -unlimited lives cause it’s a speedrunning game and it hinders it slightly -sometimes when I go back to a checkpoint the hands get stuck and I can’t move them so I have to restart all over again. -and maybe the sensitivity being a little more precise Other than that it’s a great game 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Great game, highly addicting and would recommend to anyone, especially due to no ads or annoying paywalls. My only issue is that for some reason the lower volume slider doesn’t really work. I lowered it down to listen to music and play but there is still a wooshing noise when my hands swing. I really wish this could be fixed, just because the noise is kind of jarring especially when going at faster speeds because it gets louder.
