Minor bug fixed
Do Not Feed The Monkeys is a brilliant, unsettling digital voyeurism simulator that forces you to balance your morality against your survival. As a new member of the Primate Observation Club, you spend your days staring at monitors, piecing together the lives of strangers. The genius of the game lies in its time management; you have to work a crappy job to pay rent and buy food, all while trying not to miss key moments on your cameras.
The central tension—the rule to 'not feed the monkeys'—is constantly tested. Helping a subject might feel right, but it risks your membership in the club and your livelihood. With its pixel-art style and sharp writing, the game creates a truly dystopian atmosphere. It’s a narrative puzzle that requires keen observation and rewards multiple playthroughs to see how different choices ripple through the lives of your 'monkeys'.
Emergent narrative gameplay
Resource management (Time/Money)
Branching storylines
Unique 'game-within-a-game' interface
Always check your cameras at night for critical events, but make sure to work during the day to avoid eviction. Use the notepad to link keywords and search for the subjects' identities.
Search the internet for keywords you hear during surveillance to find addresses, names, and phone numbers of the people you are watching.
Interacting with subjects can lead to rewards or consequences, but it risks detection by the Club and can lead to a game over.
This game is a hidden masterpiece that so little people see. Very few people see the purpose of this game, the potential is just crazy. The problem is that the developers almost forgot about this game: no major updates and most importantly, no risks… it has a philosophical meaning that I think only I see, this game inspired me. Ik many people would disagree and would probably think: “what is this guy thinking?! This is just a small game with absolutely zero potential and has no meaning or impact on our lives.” But these people just don’t see the message of the game. This game could’ve easily become a very successful game if the developers decided to take risks and update the game, add new content. And who knows, if it gains an excess of players maybe start a series about this game, maybe make it a whole franchise.
Thanks for porting to iOS. Almost perfect play on iPad. Could use some minor control/UI tweaks. Otherwise really good and nice to see unique and interesting games that break the standard and create a new and thoughtful experience on this platform. Highly recommended for this game and to encourage more like it on iOS!
This game has so much potential , but I will say that I found myself getting bored. I would have loved to be able to have more interaction with other people in the building or even maybe other people we work with as well as adding far more interesting stories that the people are dealing with in the cages. I could careless about watching the exact same thing over and and over again , watching a screen that doesn’t even move or anything to click on to add to my notes. I also can’t seem to get past level 3 because we make basically nothing even when I’m going to 3 jobs in a row . With saying all of that , I still had a lot of fun playing this . This genre of spying , taking a look into others lives is a niche game market where I wish there were more games like this . Hoping there will be a second one .
Interesting game, but there are some bugs which can be a real turn off to the experience in game. For example, players would got the contact information by the name of the building and the “cleaner”, however, personally I didn’t get that. I checked steps one by one and there was nothing I missed. But only thing I could do is waiting for his death. It‘s not just one unpleased thing. Hope you could fix that well, thanks developers.
I’ve played this game for hours, very interesting and unique. I believe there’s plenty of gameplay, different endings/routes, and the resource management aspect adds to the game. A good amount of replay value. Very different than anything I’ve played on IOS. Super interesting!
Very weird. I thought this was for adults
i love this game very much, but I want desperately to 100% the game. Please please PLEASE fix the game center integration, as the achievements don’t pop for anything
Hi, like the title, I am unable to unlock any achievements. Great game, played through in normal mode with ending 3 and got nothing!! Tried if I can get first day ending several times after redownloading and changing apple account, even tried changing the language, nothing works
