Mon Jun 24 2019 cruise addicationI really do like be this game and I have Dream about making my own cruise line since I first learned about cruise ships. I thank you guys did a very good job with the game and the setup for it is very easy to understand. With that being said and I hope the creators see my review there are a couple things I thank could be added to the game to make it better. The first thing is more customizable actions in the game. What I mean is when you buy a new ship there should be more options for you to use and different styles of designs would be great to have as well. The second thing is I wish that you could apply for multiple hubs and port tours at the same time. The third thing is more type of ships along with more ports(not including the in app purchase). The fourth thing I would add is more hands on competition and a way to make new thrills for your ships which I know can be difficult to make for a game. The last thing I would add is an option to buy used ships and customize them for your cruise line. I thank if most of these ideas get added into the game it would make it even better. Thank you for making one of the best games on the App Store!!

Sat May 05 2018 Jar Jar12345I love tycoon games and there are not a lot of good ones on the market IMO. This company is the only one that I’ve found that can build a great tycoon game from their Airplane ones to their Hotel ones. I loved them all. Cruise Tycoon was the first one I ever downloaded and still love to play it today. When I found out it had to be updated for iOS 11 and was unplayable I was pretty sad. I emailed the developers maybe a week or two ago and just saw the update today! I’m ecstatic! It seems that Hotel Tycoon 2 also needs an update though. I understand the map’s graphics can look a little outdated but the ship and captain graphics are not and that’s what I liked. My only complaint (if it even is one) is that I would love a Cruise Tycoon 2 and a Hotel Tycoon 3 but I understand the developers may be working on other projects. There’s not a lot of games left that don’t nickel and dime you just to play and I love these apps for that. If they wanted to make more money off the new versions I would pay $5+ for the new ones but that might come at a decrease in sales. It’s up to them what they do from here. I am just happy that I can still play this game. I love it! Thank you!
Addicting, fun, but lacking.
Wed Oct 02 2013 CalebMitchell91Pretty sure this was made by a foreign country, which is absolutely fine, but the misspellings and language errors in the game are indicative of this probably being an Asian-made game. It makes for some funny reads in the game. It's a pretty simple game once you get used to it. There's not too much to the game, leaving you feeling a bit unchallenged. Be patient! I know it sounds impossible without buying in game content, but just slide the time slider all the up and you'll be making money in no time. It's definitely addicting but gets old after a while. Great job on the game guys.
It’s worth $1.99 for sure
Sat Feb 16 2019 The ScoutAnd it’s fun... until you realize that the underlying maths are somehow all wrong. For example, I was trying to win the game at the medium level, had 50 ships, twice the tonnage of the nearest competitor, almost all ships in North America, advertised, promoted, sailing full... and yet only a 25% market share in North America while 2 competitors each had a 34% market share even though each had a commanding (60%) market share in another region. It doesn’t and can’t add up. If they fixed that one issue I could more easily overlook the other issues like how the port cancellations are doled out and handled... or huge sums of money are subtracted out of your current account for no apparent reason. There also appears to be nothing you can do to increase passenger counts in off season... all the tools have no effect. The computer will fill your ships to 100% June through August and over Christmas no matter how crappy they are, and only give you about 65-70% full at other times no matter how great they are, how desirable the port, or how much you advertise or promote.
I wish I knew sooner that this had been updated!
Wed May 13 2020 KateAngel94I played this game from roughly 7 years ago (senior year high school) on a field trip and was hooked. That was on my wifi-only 3rd gen ipod touch. Then I got it on my first iPhone. Then it didn’t update for some time for my SE, was very sad. I kept two old devices around just to play this - my favorite tycoon game ever. I am overjoyed that it has been updated and I’m sorry I didn’t check sooner. This game is amazing. If you love a good tycoon game, this is a great one with good user interface for a small device. 200% recommended by me. 😊
One of the Best Games for iOS
Fri Oct 23 2015 BlakeTompkins0This game works and runs very well, and is one of the most fun and addicting games on the iOS App Store (such as Clash of Clans, Fallout Shelter, Plague Inc. To be honest I really have no complaints. It does get old after a while, but it is well worth buying everything in this game. I do have some questions to people who have played this - I want to know about the banking and loan system - what happens if I do not pay off a loan ever, does it matter? or is is basically just my money? And are there cheats for iOS version?

Thu Mar 24 2016 BlagnoneedfornameIt's a decent game, very slow in the first few years of the game but all you need to do is speed the time up and you'll be making reasonable money. One suggestion for the game is that they should add a history of the ships captains. I haven't finished my first game yet and when I do I know I probably won't replay it for a long time, one play through will take a long time to finish, warning.
Wanting More
Tue Jun 13 2017 $3 shortI feel like the level of enjoyment I got out of this game was a product of how much I want a game like this. While the game does offer a lengthy tutorial, it still doesn't ease the overwhelming feeling of dealing with all the different icons and menus. Not to mention the game looks terrible. Not to slight the devs because I think they're onto something, but the game looks like a Frankenstein's monster of different art styles, stitched together less than seamlessly. I could really see this being a game I'm addicted to if the art direction got a complete overhaul and if the UI improved.
