Cozy Solitaire is the digital equivalent of a rainy Sunday afternoon by a fireplace. It takes the familiar mechanics of Klondike and Spider Solitaire and wraps them in a world of soft colors, gentle acoustic music, and adorable environmental details. What I found most impressive as an expert in casual games was the 'Cozy Progression'—as you win games, you earn furniture to decorate a small virtual cabin.
This simple meta-game provides a genuine motivation to keep playing that is often missing from standard card apps. The UI is exceptionally clean, with large, easy-to-read cards and haptic feedback that makes the shuffling feel real. It avoids the competitive pressure of global leaderboards, focusing instead on personal milestones and the joy of completion. It is a warm, inviting, and highly polished game that prioritizes comfort above all else. It is the gold standard for the 'Cozy Gaming' movement on mobile.
Multiple solitaire game modes
Whimsical home decoration meta-game
Soothing and atmospheric audio
Designed for relaxation and comfort
Check the 'Daily Wish' list. Completing three solitaire games with specific card backs will grant you a 'Cozy Crate,' which contains rare items like soft rugs or glowing candles that aren't available in the standard shop.
If you find yourself stuck, use the 'Magic Shuffle' button. It re-arranges the deck without resetting your score, ensuring you can always finish your game and earn your points for the next furniture item.
Cozy Solitaire features minimal ads that never interrupt the gameplay flow, ensuring your zen experience remains undisturbed.
This game is really refreshing!! It seems that most people are okay with settling for “imitation” solitaire games that just try to mimic real life cards. I think that approach looks terrible. Additionally, those games usually monetize the life out of you, and flood their app with trackers and all kinds of nonsense that has no place in what should be a really simple piece of software. This game doesn’t do that. It keeps the visual design clean and simple, it has absolutely no nonsense trackers at all, and no gross over-monetization. One upfront payment (which I am happy to do for legitimately good and honest software) and you’re good to go. I have two complaints at the moment though, which I will edit away once these are resolved. 1. There is no iPad support, which for a card game seems like it should be a requirement. I have no idea how much effort that requires but would love to know if there’s a plan for that! 2. There is a game breaking bug in the current version of the game, wherein full stacks of cards of multiple suits can be placed on the foundation. The cards do not render when this happens, and usually there is no way to get all of the cards back out of the foundation. This completely ruins the game when it happens.
I like simple games like solitaire and sudoku, they’re satisfying, relatively quick, and they can go with you anywhere. This game is a jewel in its genre. It’s simplistic, snappy, stylized, comfortable, and completely ad free. The dev has put a good deal of effort into this game, but also a great deal of love to make it charming and enjoyable for users. I greatly appreciated the last major update, which added more customizations and themed foregrounds, snappier smooth swapping, better ai for hints, new achievements to unlock, and three new ways to play solitaire. This game has been my go to comfort during boredom, emergency visits, chronic illness and depression, and even my college graduation. I love this game, a big thanks to the developer! PS: I would love to play a sudoku app made by you :)
So I’m a sucker for a well made solitaire game and I’ve been looking for my perfect one for a while now. This one is a fantastic pick! No ads, unlockable designs, options for random or solvable layouts. You can tap, swipe, or drag the cards and it also has a left handed layout. I love the color options and the fact that you can unlock card designs by unlocking achievements. It’s not hard on the eyes, either, which is important in my old age. 😂 The *only* thing I can even think to request would be new customizations in the future, but thats not even necessary with what’s available. Solid solitaire app, definitely recommend!
I’ve been a solitaire lover since playing on Windows 7 and have been chasing that simple, clean solitaire experience ever since. This dev delivers that and so much more. Free cell and Klondike are included in base game, and a $2 upgrade unlocks 3 more modes. Well worth the money! No ads, unwanted pop ups, and theres so many lovely color schemes and card back options! I also got this devs Mahjong app since it’s also hard to find simple apps for that, and it’s just as beautiful and pleasing to play. Considering how much other apps will monetize or throw ads at you, this app is worth the price and so much more ❤️
Great looking, nice music, customization options. Just to let you know, I’ve been experiencing an auto-complete bug on my 13 mini. Once it gets to that point I hit the button and the game freezes, and music plays outside of the app even if I close it. Once I open something else and go back to it, it returns to the menu options but if I hit resume it goes back to the same issue and I don’t get credit for winning the game if I restart. Weird enough, the top suits are then messed up and show two piles of diamonds for example. Anyway, well worth the purchase and thank you for making a great ad-free game!
Like most people I play Solitaire to find a moment of calm in a busy day. I went looking for an app with no annoying ads, no obnoxious demands for daily challenges or player competitions, and no long, overdramatic win screen graphics, and Cozy Solitaire said no problem we have exactly what you want. And to make things even better their cards have a hand drawn look that just adds to the zen, and they offer not just the standard game style but a wide variety of styles to choose from. And best of all they’re sticking with old school rules, no subscriptions no data mining.
No ads, really simple, and visually pleasing to use. If you’re a looking for a simple and easily customizable solitaire game (5 types available) to keep on your phone to play during downtime (I like to play before bed), then this is for you! Love the music and ambiance choices. Lots of Christmas options too. I’d be more than happy to see more ambiance music, sounds, and background noises (only because I play so much) but the quality of this game is already more than I expected. Can’t wait for more games from this developer!
Update: Developer fixed it in the latest update and all is back to looking and working perfectly! Yay! --- Game used to be perfect, but unfortunately the latest update has made the app much slower and less attractive! The numbers on the card faces have increased in size, there's more unnecessary (and slow) animation when you draw a card, and the text looks a lot less elegant and much more chunky; almost as if it has been stretched? What set this solitaire game apart was how beautifully it was visually designed; now it might as well be any other.
