Coffee Talk: Episode 1 on mobile is a revelation. It is the definitive 'cozy' game. As a barista in a rainy, alternative-history Seattle populated by elves and orcs, your job isn't to save the world, but to serve the perfect warm drink. The touch interface feels even more natural for the drink-brewing mechanics than a mouse or controller ever did—swiping to pour milk or drawing latte art feels tactile and intimate.
The writing is the star here. It handles complex social issues through the lens of fantasy archetypes in a way that feels incredibly human and grounded. The lo-fi soundtrack is genuinely iconic and creates an atmosphere that makes you want to curl up with a blanket. It’s a slow-burn narrative where the stakes are small but the emotional impact is huge. If you want a game that feels like a warm hug on a cold night, this is it.

The order of ingredients matters. For a 'Caffe Latte', use Coffee first, then Milk, then more Milk. Getting the order right is key to making customers open up.
Use the touch screen to draw designs in the foam. While it doesn't always affect the story, some customers will react positively to a heart or a leaf.
There is no 'Game Over', but serving the wrong drinks will change the outcome of the characters' stories.
This game is honestly so well written and the gameplay feels really cozy but fun. It’s a nice balance between storytelling and being able to do some action by running your coffee shop and making coffee. It’s extra special because the drinks you make can guide different endings for different characters! Not only that but the more you get to know these characters the more you get your own understanding and opinions on them. At first I was skeptical to pay $10 for the game but honestly it’s so worth it, especially for supporting these indie artists. Definitely recommend!!♡
I wanted to get this for the longest time on steam but with work etc I just never could devote time at home to sit and play, on the go on the phone it’s been perfect! Can’t wait for EP 2. The only gripe I have I’m sure will correct itself is that the music is just playing in mono, instead of playing in stereo. It would be nice to have both speakers working while playing because the music is quite relaxing and I don’t always want to have headphones in.
I absolutely love Coffee Talk! ☕✨ The blend of fantasy and modern day storytelling is done so beautifully it feels cozy, creative, and totally immersive. It actually reminds me a bit of Good Coffee, Great Coffee, but honestly, I enjoy this one soooooo much more. That game felt a little too complex for me at times, especially with my ADHD, but Coffee Talk hits the perfect balance. It’s easy to follow without feeling boring, and I never feel overwhelmed. I can just relax, enjoy the characters, and take in the story at my own pace. I’m really excited to keep diving deeper into the story and experiment with all the different drinks. And the latte art feature?! Being able to draw your own designs is such a fun, personal touch I love it! This game is such a vibe. Cozy, creative, and super engaging. Highly recommend if you want something relaxing but still meaningful. 💛
Played through the game because the premise seemed interesting, worth paying after the first day’s story to support these indie creators! Solid creativity with the parallels to real world and social events at the time it’s set in. The coffee choices were not difficult to figure out and had the right balance. Overall a laid back game that’s quick if you’re a speedy reader like me but refreshing.
Multibillion dollar companies need to know that having the best graphics or gameplay is not the ultime thing in deciding which game to play. It’s the soul. Soulless games that companies like *ahem* Ubi *ahem* EA *ahem* make are simply not going to work. So, why does this game is 100 billion times better than those games? The soul. Y’all made an impressive game. I payed 10$ without thinking it.
I have pre-ordered this game. But when I went through the trial period, I found out that the full version costs $10. If it had cost about $6, I might have bought it, but it's so expensive. I understand that you have invested a lot of time in this project, but even Hollow Knight is cheaper.
I found this game on the app store and decided to pre-save it. I am so glad I did because I honestly love this game. The character designs are incredible and unique, and the ambiance really brings it all together. This game is so fun and perfect for anyone interested in a laidback experience. 💗
Look I was really excited for this game and when I played it it was great! I had lots of fun until it was over and it said I had to pay 10DOLLARS to keep playing?? I don’t have enough money to buy a pc or console since that was what this game was originally made for so I’m grateful it’s some-what on mobile but come on man I wanted to see the new characters and have fun but I’m not desperate enough to pay money for a free app
