Bug fixes and improvements
Duck Detective: Ghost Glamping is a masterclass in 'cozy' mystery gaming. It perfectly captures that specific niche of humorous, animal-led detective stories (think 'Later Alligator' or 'A Short Hike' with a magnifying glass). The writing is the real star here; the puns are constant and actually funny, and the characters—from the anxious Beaver to the high-maintenance Flamingo—are incredibly memorable.
The 'Detective Notebook' mechanic is one of the best deduction systems I've used on mobile. It doesn't just give you the answer; you have to manually slot in the clues you've found to make a coherent sentence. This makes you feel like you're actually solving the case rather than just following a script. It’s short, sweet, and absolutely quacking with charm.
Witty and humorous writing with plenty of puns
Charming hand-drawn animal characters
Innovative 'Deduction Sentence' notebook system
Relaxing glamping atmosphere with a spooky twist
Review your notebook frequently. Combining the 'Marshmallow' clue with the 'Wet Footprint' will unlock the option to confront the Beaver. Don't be afraid to quack at everyone—they might reveal more than they intended!
Explore hand-drawn 2D environments, tap objects to inspect them, and use items from your inventory to solve environmental puzzles. Collect testimony to fill in the blanks in your notebook.
Not at all! The 'ghost' elements are purely comedic and part of the mystery. It's safe for kids and adults alike.
The Duck game is a really great and good game for me and it a little bit interesting that the duck is try to find evidence from his friends and overall it is a really good game for kids to improve in there skills and help there brain out in school or other stuff but the problem is that everyone that wants to play the game fully has to pay money and if we didn’t have to pay money it will be a very good game for everyone and a great game for your brain and for kids.
The game itself was interesting enough, and the story was pretty immersive—if a little… eh, at times. Overall the game was fine, and I wouldn’t have a problem paying for it… if it wasn’t 6$. 6$ for less than hour of gameplay in a story without that many interactive and changeable elements is definitely questionable. Do I regret making the purchase? No, the game was enjoyable enough and I had fun playing it. If I could go back in time, would I buy it again? Absolutely not. This game is worth 2$, maybe 3$ maximum. I know this is pretty nit picky and overly critical for a measly 6$, but I always like to be thorough on my reviews on the very rare occasion I leave them. 🤷🏼
When I saw the game it looked nice so I downloaded it but when l started to play it only lets you play it for 15 minutes or you would have to buy it to play which is lame. Change this pls that’s so messed up 😡😑
This game is awesome I loved playing it. But $6.00 for a game I finished in 25 mins is crazy. I understand if there a lot of different story lines but I saw there’s another game and you also have to pay for that one. I’ve played great amazing games for cheaper that are still being updated with new levels. I feel like I’ve been robbed of my money. I don’t want to take away from the actual gameplay because is great but not worth the money.
I only played the first 15 minutes as im not gonna pay $6 for a one time play only game, but it was great as far I could tell. I loved finding out who all the characters were, solving cases, and all the jokes were pretty funny lol. To be honest, I will definitely come back and buy the full version in the future. Keep it up!
Better than the first game because the story and puzzles were even more fun. Worse in that it had a few annoying bugs, like subtitles clipping off the edge of the screen during cutscenes and a couple of the room exits sometimes needing a couple tries to work.
I really like the game and the animations and the story especially the double chin picture, amazing btw. But when I found out there was a price to get the whole game I got pretty upset. I can’t buy it because I’m a child and I don’t have a lot of money and my parents won’t let me. So if it was like a dollar then I think my parents would say “yeah sure!” But it HAS to be 6$.
I loved playing this game but $6 for less than an hour of game play is a little crazy. If it was both of the cases I think itd make more sense but 6 bucks for 30-45 minutes is crazy - I didn’t realize the 15min demo was half way of the game. If i knew I probably wouldn’t have purchased.
