Finally gave the sequel a try and it is worth it! - ipad mini 6

Feels and plays just as well as the original game. Very interesting plot detailed level and a nice challenge. However this game screen is not optimized for the mini 6 unfortunately. The black borders horizontally is huge and for a while i thought the controls were bad then i realized that i kept tapping the huge black borders instead of the screen. That is the only gripe. I ahve not tried out the multiplayer but it looks like it would be fun.

I want, I need, I can live with it.

Ok so I’ve played this game for a looonnnggg time but... remember the first one? Back then they released a level editor and I was so happy! Sooooo then the next part has been released. So I start playing the game, it was great! But after months I just realized there’s no level editor. So I thought “oh I guess we just have to wait for a bit.” But I was so wrong... Now I was sad. :( What’s even more sad one of the people in the first one released a level explaining it will not happen. And someone just give you a idea. I heard of the camera problem... I think you said: “we don’t know how the camera should work” or something like that. It’s easy! Let me tell you. Now what you can do is add camera points. Now you can connect the points by the wires thingy and there. Now I know that will take you for a wile. But it will have more content now. The first one is popular because the level editor. If you do the same then everyone will be happy and excited. I think I will hear everyone screaming of happiness because of you. And you can make 2020 better, well something like 2021. So basically I just want a level editor, it felt like it’s missing from the game. So pleeaaassee? “More likely not” -someone in 2020

Good but could be great

While I do love the entire BADLAND series. Two just seems a lot like one. Yes there are different things and actions you can take I just felt like there could have been more. Especially since when I originally started playing any of the badland’s it was totally free. I don’t feel like you should have started charging for 1, fine for 2 since it’s always been .99 cents. But you shouldn’t charge people for something that was once free. And since you charge the .99 cents for badlands 2 which I gladly paid bc I love your games I just felt like there could have been more to the game is all. Maybe some small 3-D actions or modes and possibly a bit of a storyline to the game or clones. I’m not sure just something lol. In closing, the game is definitely worth the 99 cents and it’s very fun and there’s a lot of the original fun from badlands 2. I only gave it 3 stars bc I felt like there could have been more

Online registration and lack of potential

This sequel is definitely an improvement and a step to right direction, introducing some new mechanics and satisfying level design, but what it lacks is the innovation that it could have had, basically there aren’t any editors like the first game had which was marginally disappointing because it’s what made the game feel so great, having a continuous active community, and sadly they too abandoned online completely because it’s likely impossible to register online because I believe the servers are down, so the game is only left with campaign that is honestly a bit too short compared to its first game, but through it I still enjoyed it, but I hoped that they didn’t waste such a potential game.

One of the best games I have

This is one of the best games I have I do not regret paying the two dollars I play this game in my spare time and one time I lost track of time and was playing for like three hours it’s a super addictive game I recommend it to anybody just a suggestion but developer you should make a create your own level mode that be really cool and then you could post it people could try to beat it

Been with this game for years but...

So I’ve been with Badland since I was a kid and I love it so much, now I know you get this a lot but PLEASE make a level editor. When it first came out for 1 I was super excited and got it the second it came out, and I just came back to this game and found you you made a second game so I got it, played the first world, then got disappointed from the lack of one. Oh and also it might be good for you guys to leave 3D controls off, cause I was super confused when I first started up, and so was a lot of people apparently. I will pay SO MUCH for a level editor.

If you’re into

games where you die over and over again and keep repeating it until you finally beat the level, then you’ll love this game. Not my cup of tea. I don’t mind problem solving if it takes me two or three tries to get through, but this is the type of game that requires you to die a million times by way of trial and error just so you know where the obstacles are and what they do. I still give it three stars for the nice visuals and the fact that I understand these types of games are practically their own genre. I should’ve known it was this type of game before I purchased it.

Good Game

Game is great and very atmospheric. It’s definitely worth the 99 cents. The only issue I have with it is the lack of content. Game does feel somewhat short and replay-ability isn’t as warranted unless you really want to go for all the achievements. Unfortunately as of the time I’m writing this the online servers have been taken down which is a shame as that was one of the fun activities left. Overall would still recommend purchasing and playing through.
