Dear Developers,

This games art and music are cinematic at most. The controls are decent (needs an update). The gameplay is surprisingly fun and cutscenes feel like your watching a movie. I have four problems with this game though. One: Randomly while fighting the lil slugger boss, Meat Boy (while spamming punch) will decide to freeze in air killing you. Two: Whenever i boot up the game my screen decides to pull a grandma with laxatives and shake violently like its having a seizure. Three: The stages ground won’t load and it displays an invisible texture causing stages like stage 4 to be impossible. Four: This “game” feels like an IP dump. Feels like they found a generic 2D auto run template off of google and slapped it with the super meat boy brand. As some one who’s been around since the ps vita days, this is madly disappointing to me. Also I’ve been scrolling through the replies and have noticed the review team has not been responsive. I am currently on an IPhone 12 max and currently running iOS 17.1. Please fix these issues and this game will certainly go far.

Bugs and controls

Don't get me wrong, I'm happy this got ported to mobile. It's fun to play, but every now and then, the game bugs out and ruins the experience. I've had cutscene audio playing strictly in my left ear since I booted the game up, I've had cutscenes jitter back and forth to the edges of my screen which becomes very nauseating and hard to look at, and the bug that ruined the game the most was the ground disappearing during The Clinic, making it almost impossible to traverse through unless you have the level completely memorized. Not only that, but the controls become frustrating at times and it becomes a struggle to jump and punch when the time comes. I'd much rather have specified buttons rather than having one side of my phone be multiple moves. Again, I know the game is amazing and deserves its praise, but for now, it's getting 3 stars because of the bugs and controls. If the bugs are fixed and the controls become easier to use, I'll definitely give the game a higher rating.

Touch controls are really nice but very glitchy textures

I noticed that there is a red border on the left and right side of the screen that stays no matter what. The game will sometimes not show textures after you play a warp zone which is annoying because you gotta close the app and reopen it. The second warp zone is impossible to see your character since it is in a meter. If I make a new game in the mobile version the seed will be very different on different platforms. Although the touch controls work very well and these factors aren’t too bad but very annoying.

Bug

This is a very good game and i enjoy the graphics and gameplay but i really wish that minigames that can be found on PC and console could come to mobile. Also, theres a strange glitch where when i load the game up for the first time, the surface part of the floor and the surface part of the wall don’t load in and sometimes the background also gets messed up. But the second time i load the game, everything thing looks normal. I don’t know if this is from me pressing the buttons too fast or something but its kind of annoying and I hope it gets patched soon. Everything else about the game is perfect and might even be one of my favorite mobile games ever 👍.

RAGE = HAPPINESS!

This game makes some people rage, this game makes some people want to send the device they are playing this game on to the moon and blow it up sometimes, but the rage it makes you feel is the perfect kind of rage that makes for the perfect experience, I have had tons of rage games like this like super mombo quest, yet when I beat that thing I felt absolutely engulfed in adrenaline and amazingness, and it’s the exact same for super meat boy forever, not that I have beat it yet, but it’s certainly an educated guess.

Hard but fun

Been wanting the meat for so long and it’s finally here albeit with a simplified control scheme. I’m not a fan of these controls but they work well here and the gameplay is smooth. Some levels are tough but there is always a way and it’s fun figuring it out no matter god crazy it makes you. Hopefully more content is released because this game deserves it. Maybe even a level editor so we can create our own to share?

Great game, but..

Now, the game itself is really fun, even if it’s old, it gets a lot of hate in 2024, but I don’t really see it, worth the TWO dollars, honestly it should be five dollars, too over hated, but it could use an update as in a new world or more controls, don’t get me wrong the controls are..well not the best but it is still good, but could use a menu for controls, I don’t regret buying it at all.

A bit buggy

The game is very good, a bit less peak from the actual Super Meat Boy, but still good. Though, whenever I play, the first level doesn’t have any ground loaded in, making it basically impossible to S a level due to not being able to see where the ground is. Other than that, 10/10 would download 15 different times
