Arcane Golf is a masterclass in how to combine two disparate genres—fantasy dungeon crawling and mini-golf. Instead of a club, you’re using physics-based flinging to guide a ball through a gauntlet of traps, monsters, and magical portals. The pixel art is top-notch, with four distinct worlds that each introduce a unique mechanic, such as gravity-shifting or slime-covered walls.
The level design is where the game shines. It’s less about a 'hole-in-one' and more about solving a spatial puzzle. You have to time your shots to avoid rotating blades or use teleporters to bypass impassable walls. With over 200 levels, the game never feels stale. It’s challenging without being frustrating, largely thanks to the generous checkpoint system and the intuitive drag-to-aim controls.
200+ hand-crafted levels
4 distinct fantasy themes
Simple one-tap controls
Retro pixel art style
Unique magical mechanics
Portals preserve your ball's momentum. If you need to clear a large gap on the exit side, make sure you hit the entry portal with full power to launch out the other side.
Watch out for slimes that slow you down and spikes that reset your ball. Each world introduces a new element that changes how you interact with the walls and floor.
While there aren't traditional RPG bosses, each world ends with a significantly more complex 'puzzle gauntlet' that tests all the skills you've learned.
Wonderfully fresh take on mini golf on mobile. Tons of puzzle levels to work through they get delightfully difficult once you get deep in. Cannot recommend enough. It is such a sad statement on the state of mobile gaming that this has fewer than 500 ratings while ad-ridden predatory trash sits on the front page of the App Store with thousands of ratings. This game is fun and original and is worth far more than the $2 asking price. I can’t believe I’m only discovering it now, years after its launch.
This is a great game all around. I can't say much more than what's already been said. But a note to the devs - the fairies are way too sensitive and hard to control; they barely turn but when they do it's massive and difficult to stop. Just saying.
Can’t stop playing, some of these levels are quite the challenge, and I am determined to figure them out. Love the UX, and great nod to old school games
I’m 35 levels in and still entertained. Good hand/eye coordination exercise. The levels look and play well, some more tricky than others but good progression.
This game is so much fun and a nice challenge. I am a big fan of the pixel art style as well so this game ticks a lot of the boxes. I would recommend giving it a try.
I’ve been playing Arcane Golf for two days straight. My fingers are aching and my wife keeps complaining.
This game is beautifully made, true to old-school gaming artwork, and is super addicting. I can’t stop playing it... seriously.
This game is life changing. level 50 is a challenge. I play it like everyday. I love it thanks
