Airplane Chefs is a refreshing take on the 'time management cooking' genre. Most games in this category keep you in a static kitchen, but here, the added challenge of navigating a narrow airplane aisle adds a fun layer of strategy. You have to balance preparing meals, serving passengers, and keeping the galley organized while traveling to different world hubs like Denver or London.

The progression is very satisfying. As you upgrade your equipment, you can serve more complex meals (like steaks or sushi) and handle more passengers. Good but SO expensive that its almost unplayable

The game itself is really well done. Super addicting, the art is great, the mechanics are great. HOWEVER, it is nearly impossible unless you’re willing to spend many of your real life dollars. There’s basically no way to make the profit quota unless you upgrade and buy things, which in itself would make sense if everything didn’t cost this much. As the planes progresses, I genuinely believe there is no way to upgrade the stuff well enough without buying the in game currency. I watch every ad I can and I am still like five dollars away from getting even one star. I wouldn’t even be complaining if the prices were reasonable. I have spent like two dollars on this game on actual good deals, but the rest of the stuff is not worth it. And I think everyone should know before getting into this game; you will rage. And the worst part is, theres literally nothing you can do. Like there is no way to win unless you spend money. I understand that people need to get paid and I’m funding the development of the game, but it’s really ridiculous considering how many people play and watch ads. I’m sure they make more than enough and are just greedy.

Good but this game needs more improvement

I’ve been playing this game for about quite a while now. And to be honest, it is good. But with everything that literally makes no sense, this game is literally so good (and bad). I’m aware that this is supposed to be a time management game, but the patience bar is what makes this game less fun. After like seconds. The customers will antagonize you saying hurry up, ahem, huh? If the patience bar runs out, You will be unable to serve them their food. At some times when the patience bar runs out, they will say stuff like "where is my food?" Even though they harshly declined you giving you their food. Normal customers would wait until their food arrives. But they are treating me like I was their servant. At least add a feature where you can serve them even after they declined the food so that way It could be something like a redemption arc. not to mention I would like if the customers would be like less or not disrespectful to me. I would’ve refused service to them if they told me to hurry up irl. This isn’t normal. Customers will not be impatient irl. Now let’s talk about levels. You at least have to earn a star or more to proceed. Without it, you will be unable to proceed to the next level. This is just rigged in many ways possible because you at least have to get this and that type of money. Does that even matter irl? In Papa Louie games you can just proceed without any goals needed. Other than that, this game is pretty good

Okay game - many things to fix

I want to say to fix your resume button!! It has happened three times now where I start a game and for a brief moment I pause and when I hit resume everything freezes and I have to force out of the game and it wasted all my fuel which isn’t easy to receive. That’s actually super annoying and disappointing!! I like it because of the concentration it takes but there are two things on the top of my head that really bother me. It’s way too hard to get rewards and or the reward given in like daily tasks or just accomplishments the rewards given don’t accurately reflect what you had to do to get it. For example I can spend so many coins and gems to upgrade an item to the max and then the reward is like 500 coins… I feel like rewards for such high level things should be high enough for me to at least get the cheapest thing in the kitchen. Like what can I get for 50p coins? Or some of them the reward is like get 1gem if you spend 20,000 coins… like that’s not easy to do at least 3-4 gems. Also I know it’s a game but the responses the customers give sometimes are errrrr weird lol. Like they need to relax I can only go as fast with what I’m able to acquire. So overall I wish the rewards system was better and that they don’t steal my hard earned fuel. AND THE FUEL!! IT TAKES 10 MINS TO GET 1 … YOU NEED TO INCREASE THE AMOUT OF FUEL YOU CAN HAVE IN A TANK MOVE IT FROM 50 TO 100 AND DECREASE THE AMOUNT OF TIME IT TAKES. LIKE COINS AND GEMS ARE HARD ENOUGH BUT TO NOT BE ABLE TO EVEN PLAY THE GAME MAKES NO SENSE

After years of playing this game, I have to admit it’s one of the easier ones not in terms of easy to play. The levels are actually all quite challenging, but it’s easy to enjoy so the minor issues are easy to overlook in the same way however the one awful thing about this app is that there is no customer support in the app. You have to leave and go to another platform to get customer support which you don’t get there is no follow up. For example I’ve spent the last two days trying to figure out what happened to the chef’s challenge I was participating in just before I completed it three levels away from completion. It disappears and not because the time ran out because the event simply disappeared and when I left the game to contact customer support for help, I was told to troubleshoot something I had already done then I was told they would investigate, which is the same thing they’ve told me for every problem I’ve had and I’ve never gotten a solution to even one. I’ve just had to ignore it and either continue playing or stop playing that location. I would urge the developers and the technical team behind the game to have a little bit more dignity in the product that you’re selling to people at least if you’re going to have customer support have it be effective or don’t have it at all and compensating people with replacement energy is not going to cost you anything, but it will gain you goodwill, and maybe people would stop deleting the game from their phones like I just did

Why is it that 1 gems buys 9 fuel points when it cost 10 fuel points to play a match……? Is it because y’all want us to HAVE to watch an ad so y’all can get paid to get one extra fuel point because that’s what it’s giving. then on top of that it’s way too long for fuel points to load again so it really shows that you guys don’t care about the us and you only care about the money that you’re making from this game. Why not do both? everything cost money on this game it’s ridiculous. It’s a game! you’re supposed to have fun, not pay for everything. stop being money hungry we don’t have it! we just want to play a game not have to spend our paycheck on it, care more about your customers than you do the money, you’re going to get paid regardless. Then I’m going through the reviews of other players, saying the same thing, the ads, the unnecessary amount of money you hungry developers expect us to spend on this game. The freezing of the game and then losing our fuel points that we already spent. the best thing you guys can say is to contact support and thanks for playing airport chefs and asked to change a star review? How about you change the way that you treat your players, give us more fuel point options that’s free. you got people watching a 30 second ad to get one fuel point..what is that going to do exactly it’s not gonna let us play a match. The only person that benefits from us watching a 30 second ad is you the developers. The way this entire game is money centered is insane. Bring back the real games cause this is not it.

Ads are broken

I have been playing this game for a few years. But for about a year now I haven’t been able or wanted to play because the ads stopped giving me my rewards 50% of the time and some of the rewards you can’t just watch another ad to collect it, like at the end of a level you have a chance to double your earned points. But if the ad fails which it frequently does you miss out on the reward. Or another example the free daily rewards, I have sometimes had to watch 4 different ads for the same reward because it didn’t register that I watched it. Also the game occasionally stops registering any touch to the screen and the only fix is to turn off the game and come back in. And if that happens when your in the middle of a game, you lose the ‘gas’ that it cost you to play that game. Each level costs 10 gas per game. Losing 10 gas for no reason hurts a lot when it regenerates incredibly slowly. I sent in a customer support ticket for this and was just told that they can’t do anything about the ads. It is something wrong with the third-party ad company providing the ad and not on their end. This has been a problem with this game for over a year and is frustrating enough that I don’t play anymore. I want them to fix it because I actually really enjoy this game.

Addictive game, but some issues

The game is very fun and is top tier for a time management cooking game. However, their advertisement system is trash. 75% of the time I do not receive the posted reward for watching an advertisement all the way through. I do not have this issue with any other game I watch rewarded ads for. Also, the exit button doesn’t work properly on most ads once I’ve watched it all the way through— it takes 10-15 taps on the “X” button to get the system to respond and actually close the ad. I would say it has something to do with most of the advertisements being designed for vertical orientation, however it’s very frustrating paired with the fact that I don’t even get the reward most of the time. Lastly, the amount of fuel required per level + how long it takes to regenerate makes the game unworthy of the storage space it takes on my device. Fuel max is 50 and it takes 10 fuel to play 1 round (maybe 3-5 minutes of gameplay per round), then it takes around 2 hours to recharge just 10 fuel, so you get to play a max of 10 levels per day if you don’t reach any goals that reward fuel. You can watch an ad for ONE fuel, but, most of the time the ads don’t actually reward you, so it’s a waste of time. I love the game, so I am sorely disappointed by these issues.

I gave the game a one rating only because the game in itself is great, but then the fuel runs out and one is either force to watch videos until they can rack up 10 points again, or either spend money, whereby I will not spend money on any game, neither will I keep watching videos to get to 10 points, for fuel, because when you watch a show you only get 1 point for fuel, game is not that great for neither one of these, so I will delete the games and choose other in which I have downloaded that is better than this game. You need to make the game better many people are not going to spend money for points just to play a game in these hard time, when putting food on the table is priority, so with thousands of better games, they will just delete your games, give it a bad rating, until your company figure out stop trying to become a millionaire on the backs of the people. It’s cause capitalism. NO so It will not happen on my end and , I will not be a victim of your madness either I spend money on any games, when games was created back in the days, one could play free and unlimited, there was no time limit, but people got greedy and started charging and putting time limits on games but I will not be a part of the norm, neither waste money on games, no games have I ever found that was that great.
