Minor bug fixes
This might be my favorite smartphone game ever. It’s the perfect combination of charm, polish, difficulty, and is just such a pleasure to play. It’s the only game I come back to year after year to replay, and I’m sort of dreading the day when the developers stop updating it. The music is incredible! Every piece of DLC is worth it; just the right amount of added content. I can’t even pick a favorite. I’m rambling and gushing but this game is just that good. WMW2 didn’t quite scratch the itch for me, something about it felt off, like it was using a different game engine? Or different developers? I’m not sure, but this game is just wonderful.
I beat all the levels in this app years ago, deleted it for a while, and just redownloaded it to play through it again. As others have mentioned, playing without a home button is a whole different (annoying) experience, since some of the gameplay is now below the area of the screen that you need to swipe to minimize games. Which moves the app around and pauses gameplay. Also, I remember some of the actions in this game to have been a lot more fluid. Bars you have to move with your finger don’t move smoothly now, so it takes longer to adjust them to the right angle you need them at, and faucets have to be held a lot longer before whatever fluid comes out, which makes it more difficult to control how much you want. I’m on level 4-12 at the moment, which requires exact aiming and quick, precision shooting of green slime and purple poison and I know EXACTLY how to beat this level because I’ve beat this whole game before, but it’s proving impossible because of all of the issues I mentioned above! Such a shame because this was a great app game. Could be great again with some updates to improve things and modernize it for the new iPhones.
I have been playing this game since I was like 5 or something (I am 10 now) and I love it! I just downloaded “Water? 2”, but, I wish it looked more like the old game (the stone, dirt, and water). My only suggestion is maybe (on the other characters) instead of having five or so levels each, having a whole... group (the... big areas... like ‘meet swampy’... sorry, I don’t know what the group things are called). Anyway, I love this game, and will you please acknowledge, and think about adding these suggestion. Thanks!
I love this game! I purchased it a long time ago and have played through every expansion. I am giving it a 3 star rating because now that I own an iPhone XR, there is no home button. This is an issue because some of the nozzles to shoot water appear at the bottom of the screen and when I go to hit them, the screen tries to move out of the way and it pauses the game automatically. It makes any quick movements impossible. Some levels are impassable because of this, more specifically, level 7-12. When I try to quickly hit the switch, the app tries to close a little bit and the game pauses. It makes the game unplayable.
I played this on my phone years ago and loved it. I recently decided to redownload it again and am rather disappointed this time. I have an iPhone 11 (so no home button) and I’ve had to skip some levels just because it’s nearly impossible to complete them. The controls are placed too far to the edge of the screen, so my phone thinks I’m trying to leave the app in the middle of levels. Then the game is paused and I don’t have enough time to press play and activate the controls I was needing to use Unfortunately I doubt this will be fixed, seeing as how the last update was 7 months ago and there’s now a where’s my water 2 available for download
It's one thing to have an ad after every level. BUT TWO ADS? Every time I watch the required amount of time to fast forward through the rest of the ad (which is typical for most apps) it then has a SECOND ad pop up. This game used to have so many bugs and close regularly for no reason. Glad they fixed that fatal flaw at least. But the second you guys fix that issue, you pull this stunt? I've never played a game with so many ads. Fix this ridiculous issue and I'll delete my review and give the game 5 stars. This game has the potential to be good, and even something I'd recommend to others... but given the constant double ads after EACH LEVEL, I will never recommend this game to anyone.
I remember playing this game as a child so much! I love how it is interactive and has such good quality! I heard FGTeeV say “it’s the guy from where’s my water” at 17:10 in the video Billie Bust Up’s Million Ways to Die (FGTeeV Fantoccio & Barnaby Chase + Music Competition). I immediately went to my Notes app and wrote the app name “where’s my water down” because as soon as I heard the name, I immediately knew what he was talking about. this is so good for kids and even adults. I 100% recommend this game for anybody!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
