Greetings Champions!
Our latest Update crushed some bugs. Visit wwechampions.com for the full changelog.
WWE Champions 2024 is surprisingly deep for a match-3 game. It successfully blends the casual appeal of a puzzle game with the character progression and strategy of an RPG. Collecting the Superstars is the main draw, and seeing them perform their actual signature moves after a big combo is very satisfying. The Faction system also adds a nice social layer to the grind.
It can be a bit overwhelming with all the different currencies and events, but for a WWE fan, the fan service is top-notch. It's the kind of game you can play in short bursts while still feeling like you're building a powerful roster over time.

I have been involved with this game since its inception. The developers claim that their updates improve the overall experience; however, it appears that the primary goal is now to encourage in-app purchases to achieve certain objectives. It is virtually impossible to acquire the premium character without spending real money; while you may come close, you cannot obtain the player otherwise. Additionally, the value of free-to-play rewards has decreased. For example, last year, collecting keys could earn you a six-star player; currently, you only receive three-star players and rarely get the newer characters displayed in the promotional screens. I have observed a pattern where pulling 55 keys yields multiple copies of Xavier Woods, Kofi Kingston, Asuka, and Jerry Lawler. During these pulls, you are told certain characters are guaranteed, but seeing the same character flash on the screen multiple times does not feel like a true guarantee. I believe guarantees should be respected as such. When collecting coins for other contests, the rewards often differ from what is advertised, such as receiving five-point color cards or 1,000 coins instead of the expected prizes. On a positive note, recent updates to the feud system eliminate the need to wait for other players to join, which improves gameplay. I intend to continue playing, but I will no longer spend money due to the high costs
Game started out well designed and had an abundance of wrestlers, both past and present. Over time, Scopely made some good updates to the game, but then started adding non-wrestlers. Snoop, mutants, zombies, etc. This was tolerable because you were able to compete for the month long event without having to spend but hd to grind, your choice. The past few months they moved to more of a spend game and hurt a lot of F2P players. Then to make it worse they just keep reintroducing the same wrestlers in a different class. The final straws, and I do mean straws, is when one of the devs, who is in a faction, accidentally sent 80 game token pulls to the entire player base. However, the message he wrote was for his faction telling them basically he forgot to send those to them. So how long has this been happening? Some players were spending to compete but the devs, at least one, was giving his entire faction free pulls, at a cost of about $200 a person. Now, the last straw was this weeks new wrestlers, Johnny Knoxville and Stay Puft the marshmallow man from ghostbusters. What do they have to do with wrestling? Ridiculous. I’ve been playing this game since inception and really enjoyed the experience, especially meeting new faction members and fans of wrestling. But Scopely has ruined this game with greed, lack of vision, and just adding complete garbage to it. If you want a g em buster with a lot of diversity in comic characters, then you may enjoy this one. Be prepared to spend if you plan to compete. Most of my faction has given up, we are a top 50 faction in every event, because of the direction this has taken and the back door deals with devs and their factions.
This game is full of issues. I have been playing it for over 2 years and love the gameplay BUT the makers of the game (Scopely) do not care one bit about its gamers. They constantly have false advertising in the game. They have admitted it multiple emails to me saying they know it’s there and will resolve it and yet they continue with it. They have clearly changed their idea of this game to a pay to play type game. So if you aren’t willing to spend THOUSANDS of real dollars don’t start playing this game at all. Their customer service is hands down the worst in all of gaming and they don’t care at all. They send automated responses and close tickets over and over and avoid their issues. They won’t work with gamers and they will not give refunds when there is a valid issue. So buyer beware... if something goes wrong you will absolutely be on the hook for any money spent and will not be getting a Refund or your “items” you purchased. There is a LONG record of this on the BBB as well and Apple is well aware of it but doesn’t care either. They set up monthly events that make you think you can achieve the rewards they lay out but unless you spend real money it will never happen. It’s a huge waste of time at this point simply due to Scopely making everything a pay to play or most certainly a pay to win type game. There is even currently a “spending ban” in place for the high end factions in the game to try and change the game overall and petitions to sign as well. The gamers are over this awful behavior from the makers of this game.
I played this game for almost a year and spent over $1k to advance my progress. One day the game began to freeze on start screen. I contacted Scopely support who told me to update the game and restart my device. I did this and it didn’t help. Contacted support every other day for 2 weeks and was told to do the same. Eventually they told me to delete and reinstall the game. Never did they say to make sure to copy all my stats (faction name - case sensitive, level, level of my most advanced wrestler and a few others). When I reinstalled the game I had lost everything even though I was signed in to the same gamecenter account!!!!!!!! I contacted Scopely and they told me I needed all the info above to reinstate my account. I didn’t have ALL the info so they wouldn’t help despite the fact that I provided the details and screenshots of over $1k in purchases related to that same account. I also provided the details of the weekly $2.99 premium subscription charges that they continued to process throughout the 6 weeks that this dragged on but they said that wasn’t good enough. I don’t know how iTunes lets this game remain in the App Store when there are so many similar complaints! At the end of the day I still do not have access to the account that is linked to MY Apple ID which I spent a ton of time and money on. SHAME ON YOU SCOPELY AND SHAME ON YOU APPLE for letting this go on!!!!!!
I will admit this game is fine. Quite frankly it’s really fun. However the absurd amount of advertisements shoved in your face during the games start up and in between matches our infuriating. Luke boxes are a joke they continue to reward less valuable items every week they are pointless. The developers are very clever and designing a game that lead you to believe that if you purchase loot crates and other real money items you will get the Ressler you want. I have stopped wasting my money on this game and will never spend another dollar on this game. You will never get the wrestler you think you’re going to get. I’ve played this game for over two years - not once has an advertised real money purchased loot crate delivered what it led you to believe. This is clearly gambling and or a game of chance and I hope there is a regulation that looks into their practices. I cannot tell you the hundreds of dollars I’ve wasted before finally realizing I’m a sucker. Do not waste your money while playing the game. Just play and have fun and the more of us that stop buying things might actually improve the experience. The game also glitches in bugs every single day. As they continue to lower the rewards you earn in matches the ones you do urn never show up. Do not waste real money in this game ever do yourself a favor.
Don't believe the rating, read the reviews. Is this game fun? Yes at first, but then you realize if you want top guys/trainers you have to either spend hundreds, even thousands of dollars or play for at least over a year or more and grind it out every day. I know people that have spend over $1000 to try and get a certain wrestler and not get him! So here is an example; you can spend $100 in real money to "pull" for a top guy, but it's not a guarantee that you will get him or even any new wrestlers, most of the time you get duplicates of wrestlers you already own and do not use. The chances of getting the featured wrestler you want is 0.03%. Take a good look at that number! You have better odds playing the lottery! The game is ALWAYS full of bugs and glitches. When they release new content 100% of the time something does not work right. Also, when you contact support because you spent real money on the game and the game does not work correctly and you lose prizes, their support team just responds with, "Thank you for writing us, we are sorry you had this issue. Rest assured that our team is looking into it." There is no compensation for the money you spent! Terrible customer service. They are making money and do not care what happened to you at all.
For being a competitor in the game for 4 yrs now And this game just keeps getting worse every year there is no point in competing now do to u don’t get anything from it besides coins and tokens no more freebies at all unless u have nothing but 5 stars that’s fully maxed out and on top of that u need to spend thousands of dollars just to get a wrestler which is really sad no one should have to spend over thousands of dollars on a game just to get something good and the membership is a joke u really don’t get crap from them now aswell since the new 5 stars just came out a few months ago so if u want a membership in the game I would recommend just getting the kok membership just for the coins I wouldn’t worry bout the diamonds at all because u can get plenty of worthless tokens just from doing tours and so on the other thing is u have this thing called wwe champions portal now that u can play the game on there website now but the sad thing is if u don’t have Facebook u can’t use it at all the other thing the give aways now are on there portal instead of the game so u need Facebook to get the offers but if u don’t ur screwed but if u totally want to compete now that’s fine u better be rich to beable to compete in the game because if ur not ur screwed it’s a rich mans game so be prepared to be broke in real life if u want to compete for anything actually good and the loot system is totally jacked to sh** U can spend 300$ and come up with nothing in the loot that u bought so if u want to play for free go right ahead it’s a good game if u just want to just play the game but u won’t get nowhere in the game if u don’t spend hard core money on the game
I started playing this game for the last few years and let me tell you it’s ridiculous don’t delete the game or you’ll likely lose everything no matter if you’re signed into a Facebook and the creators won’t do a thing about it it’s just like every mobile game but doesn’t reward you unless you pay large amounts of cash basically over 20$ - 100$ or more in order to get the star you want and you’ll have to upgrade them specially now i can go on about the factions and events but at this star of the game it isn’t worth mentioning it’s a pay to win game at this point you starting out and even paying the average v.i.p for a year and throw in tons of cash is already too late at this point for you. But another thing I’ll like to add is the looting system is absolutely trash even if you pay tons of cash you’ll likely lose all your loot items due to a rigged system when trying to get new or old stars you’ll be lucky to get a Seth Rollins,Finn Balor, lesnar,Kane etc etc but it’s all gonna come down to the game wanting you to pay at every turn and receive a 30/70 chance at getting even a decent superstar and upgrade system is ridiculous at time even with v.i.p you’ll get decent stuff you should get for just playing the game but no they want you to cough up to some cash in order to get a fraction and events you should already get But greed is the best thing on their minds(the devs) don’t give this a chance if you’re not fortunate enough to have loads of cash dropping hundreds every new update (basically each one month) then you’ll never get what you need no matter how hard you grind and even farm but it’ll take months in stead of days to get what you need to be so screw this game.
