Stability Improvement
Twist Spinner is a minimalist utility app that masquerades as a game, or perhaps a game that functions as a party tool. Essentially, it's a digital 'Twister' spinner, but the 'Hands Free' promise is the real draw. Using voice commands or automated intervals, it tells players which limb to put on which color, allowing a group of people to play the classic physical game without needing a designated 'referee' to stand by and spin the board.
From a technical standpoint, the voice recognition is decent but can struggle in a loud room—which is exactly where you'd be playing Twister. However, the automated timer mode is a game-changer. It keeps the pace fast and prevents the typical 'cheating' or 'waiting' that happens with manual spinning. It’s a very specific niche, but for a family game night, it’s a clever little helper that frees everyone up to get tangled on the mat.

Audio callouts for limbs and colors
Before starting, go to settings and select 'Automatic Mode.' Set the timer to 5 or 10 seconds. This ensures the app will call out the next move without anyone having to touch the screen.
By enabling the microphone, you can say 'Next!' to trigger a spin. This is perfect for when the group is ready to move but the timer hasn't run out yet.
Yes, it is designed to replace the physical spinner for any standard four-color limb-placing game.
This app is listed on AppAdvice as one of today’s free apps instead of the normal price of $0.99, but it’s showing on the App Store as being $0.29. Obviously that’s not that big of a deal but when something is meant to be a certain way and then it ends up being different, it’s pretty annoying. I haven’t used the app yet, (yes, I paid the $0.29) so I’ll be back once I do.
This is making the game much more enjoyable. We use the voice mode and none of us have to sit out a round.
Works great so far. Played twice. I like the one-at-a-time mode
Keeps crashing on iOS 15
It doesn’t actually even work
Voice control works once in a blue moon. Not a good app. Not worth any money.
App price showed .49 charged 7.45. That is kind of sneaky. Not good business. If I could give a zero I would.
