Fixed some bugs :)
Trapped In Here With Me is a claustrophobic masterclass in psychological horror that utilizes its limited scope to maximum effect. As a first-person escape-the-room experience, it leans heavily on environmental storytelling rather than cheap jump scares. You wake up in a series of increasingly disturbing rooms, and the game forces you to interact with the mundane in ways that feel inherently wrong. The sound design is the real star here; the subtle scraping sounds behind the walls and the heavy breathing that follows you create a palpable sense of dread that few mobile games manage to sustain.
The puzzles are logical yet abstract, requiring you to think like the captor rather than the captive. The 'Me' in the title is more than just a marketing gimmick—it’s an active presence that adapts to your movements. While the graphical fidelity isn't console-grade, the grimy textures and dynamic lighting make the environment feel real and lived-in. It’s a short experience, meant to be played in one sitting with headphones on, and it lingers in your mind long after the credits roll. If you enjoyed games like 'The Room' but wished they were significantly more terrifying, this is the title for you.
Dynamic adaptive AI antagonist
Binaural 3D sound design
Intricate multi-step logic puzzles
Branching narrative endings
To survive the first floor, avoid running on the metal grates. The sound draws the entity immediately to your position. Crouch-walk to the storage closet to find the rusted key hidden inside the mannequin's chest cavity.
Your flashlight has limited battery life. Conserve it for solving the mechanical puzzles, and use the ambient glow of the flickering hallway lights to navigate between rooms. If the lights start to pulse red, hide under the nearest table immediately.
While the focus is on atmosphere and tension, there are several scripted events and dynamic encounters that can be startling.
I need to keep trying to beat my high score. Hours of fun!
