Tap Away 3D is an ingenious puzzle game that challenges your logic and perspective. Your goal is to clear a 3D structure by tapping on its constituent blocks. However, blocks only move in the direction they are facing. You must rotate the shape to find the correct clearing order. Tap Away 3D is a masterclass in 'zen' puzzle design, successfully turning the simple act of clicking into a deep, spatial-reasoning challenge. The objective is to clear a block made of smaller cubes by tapping them, but the catch is that each cube can only fly away in the direction its arrow points. This creates a brilliant 'layering' effect where you have to dismantle the structure from the outside in.

What makes the game so satisfying is the 3D interaction. Being able to rotate the entire structure to find that one 'key' block that unlocks a whole new layer is incredibly rewarding. The minimalist aesthetic and the clean 'pop' sound effects make the experience almost meditative. It’s the perfect 'flow' game—the kind where you start a level intending to play for a minute and realize you’ve cleared ten stages without noticing the time.

Rotating for Clarity

If you are stuck, rotate the cube 180 degrees. Often, the block that is holding the whole structure together is hidden on the 'back' side where its arrow is obscured from the initial view.

Always start with the corner blocks. Because they have three exposed faces, they are the most likely to have an outward-facing arrow that isn't blocked by a neighboring cube.

Love it but want more

I love this game. It takes a bit to find the skin that is easiest to follow for your eyes but once you do the game proceeds quite fast. I wish that the configurations would change however, as I have done the same configurations over and over and over again. I am so tired of them, I have made it to the top level probably 100’s of times only to be brought back down to the bronze level again. I keep adding points but what are they for? You don’t use them for anything. At this point even though I love the game, there’s no more challenge and I play the hard level. although the gold blocks as mentioned in another review are annoying, they do serve a purpose. When the configuration has reached an impasse, the gold blocks come up in order to open up a block or two. Of course, you also have the bombs but I don’t usually use those anymore. There’s always a way out, you just have to find it. Please, please please! before I stop playing this game, How do you change the configurations? And if i can’t change the configurations, then please have the developers change them or have a level in which they are updated. If I’m missing something here, could someone let me know the trick?

Thanks for only showing the aforementioned ad only occasionally - I truly appreciate it. I still love this game and highly recommend but beware - so many long ads. Plus with the daily challenges you are not allowed to use your points to buy bombs so when you run out of time or blocks you have to watch a very long ad in order to receive an additional 3 blocks or 15 seconds more!! To add insult to injury if it’s taking a while to finish the challenge and “want” to add more time or blocks you get a message that you internet connection is down. Of course it’s not, the game is just having problems downloading another long ad!! I know this because if you wait a minute or so you finally get an ad. Be careful though because if you accidentally touch any part of the screen, it pops you out of the challenge and you have to start all over again! Very frustrating!! Please do something about this!!!! Thank you!! I love this game! It is challenging and frustrating and I just love it. It is definitely 5 stars! I gave it only 3 stars due to one particular ad - makeover! I find this ad offensive and insulting to women. It plays over and over again with no way to complain about it. If people want to play this game - that’s their privilege, however women and especially young women and girls shouldn’t be subjected to this long playing ad! I can’t believe no one has commented on it. Please remove or make it just a “still” ad. Thank you.

**Another update and it’s even worse than ever. The new colors/designs are an assault on the eyes. I guess it’s time to find a new game.** *Update* It just gets worse with every update. More endless, pointless interruptions. I don’t care where I am on the leaderboard and I wish it wouldn’t pull me out of the game every few moves to tell me and make me watch this stupid ticker. Can you not let people play in peace??? I love this game. It’s engaging and weirdly relaxing. I could play it endlessly except the ads were so disruptive and annoying. I bit the bullet and paid for the “ad free” version but I’m still getting prompted to click on buttons for ads. Why?? 😩 The continual interruptions significantly lessen the quality of the game. Every so many moves, the game stops and tells me I’ve reached some new level, which I do not care about in the slightest. I get the point of golden blocks - they’re essentially wild cards, which is cool, but I don’t need to be taken out of the game and forced to sit for 5 seconds while I wait to decline the option to watch an ad for additional points. And no, I do not want to join a race, so please stop interrupting the game to ask me. I don’t care about getting puzzle pieces or any of the various challenges or annoying bouncing icons at the top of the screen. Please, for the love of all that is holy, just leave me in peace and let me play the game.

it’s always been full of bugs, but I’ve put those aside and still played the game. However, with whatever change came within the last day or so, the game isn’t enjoyable to play. Normal blocks continuously change into these “special blocks” that don’t even offer 50 coins, and when you click on them, you get interrupted with a screen giving you an option to double, triple, etc, the amount by watching an ad. And again, they don’t stop coming. You get rid of one? Now you got yourself another. But I mean, you have to get rid of them since they’ll block the other blocks, so it’s just a pain. Also, why do we even need these coin blocks?? There’re literally challenge levels that’ll give you 10k+ coins, that are extremely easy. Not to mention that once you’ve bought those three skins at the top, and the other ones that are purchasable with coins (12 of them, at max costing 500~ish coins), that’s all that you can buy with coins. Your coins from there on just continue to pile up without having anything to spend them on. As I am right now, I’m currently sitting on roughly 544k coins, so why would I have any desire to earn more, especially if it continuously interrupts the normal gameplay? Also, having ranks on the normal mode makes no sense. It doesn’t show any leaderboard, so you’re not competing with others, you barely earn a few coins, and like in the endless mode, it just interrupts the game whenever you reach a new rank.

Please remove some things.

Hello. I love your game, it’s very fun,entertaining, and enjoyable. But, there are a few problems I would like to address.1. Like the stupid “special blocks” they spawn so much when I’m doing a level. It gets annoying having to click on them every time to get a block out this way but then another pops up and it blocked this, so it’s just super annoying. 2. There are SO MANY freaking ads. Every time I play this game I rank up, and once I do, I get a ad. And ranking up is soooooo easy to do. And I rank up so quick that it feels like every 3 mins there is a ad. 3. This may not apply to everyone but maybe do this. The “bombs” you guys have at the bottom of your screen that you can press. When I press it I expect to take my finger and drag the bomb over to some random block and release my finger from the screen and it explodes. But for some reason I have to do that a couple times and I just start pressing and doing random things trying to make it work and once it does it’s in the wrong place or something. So I want you guys to make the bombs a little more easier to use. 4. Make more skins of the blocks like the one you first start out with. Because it starts getting confusing with all the arrows and stuff. But this may not apply to everyone. Hello. This is the end of my review, I hope you will think about these problems and try to fix them. Goodbye.

Do Not Waste Money on the “Ad Free” Upgrade

As the title states, the “ad free” version of this game is entirely misleading. I understand app developers rely on advertisements to produce a profit and keep their games free. However, offering a paid version of the game to remove such advertisements should do just that. This developer instead replaces advertisements with lengthy interruptions where you are forced to watch an advertisement to gain any additional rewards. Otherwise, you still have to sit through level up screens and the useless “golden block” animation that halts gameplay for a few seconds every 10-15 moves. I know a few seconds may not sound like much, but when a fast paced game like this is stopping you dead in your tracks every time you level up (which is too often) or tap on a “golden block” it is no longer a fast paced game- nor is it enjoyable. I love the concept of this game, and it is quite soothing to me. However, there are plenty of other games that provide continuous disruption free gameplay that are much better than this. If you have a lot of time and/or money to waste, then go ahead and buy the paid upgrade. But for those of you who, like me, just need a fun puzzle game to play when stress is high- look elsewhere. I’ve emailed the developers as well, seeing as they do not seem concerned at all about the potential customers they are losing. Hopefully, these disruptions will be removed and I can update my review. Until then, it remains at one star.

Please develop a “no interruptions” option!

I’m glad I finally figured out where to purchase the add free version, but that hasn’t stopped the annoying game interruptions. The “special blocks” pop up non-stop and you have no choice but to click on them to get rid of them or they’ll get in the way of the game play. Then they bring you to an option to watch an add for more coins and it takes several seconds before you can just select to collect the coins you earn and get back to the game. The rank increases are also frequent but slightly less annoying since they’re quicker to dismiss away. I’d rather collect no coins than have the constant interruptions. All you can buy with coins are the skins anyway and I personally prefer the one the game starts you with, so the coins are useless to me. Alternatively, if you could just have a mode that was no interruptions you could still click on the special blocks and they could automatically deposit into your coin account. Those that like the option to watch an add for more could have no interruptions off and it would allow for the best of both worlds. Your rank could also just update discretely on top without creating a pop-up for every new level. I really hope the app developer reads these because it seems that many others who otherwise love this game have the same qualm with it!

Gold blocks are an inconvenience!

A simple game like this with zen qualities shouldn’t be interrupted every 20 seconds by an ad. It ruins the purpose of the game when more time is spent watching ads vs playing the game. With the gold block it is a waste of time since every time you remove one your forced to watch an ad when at the bottom it clearly gives you the option to skip but it doesn’t. Plus their are plenty of other ways to get coins and gold blocks aren’t one of them, because it ruins challenge times because the game won’t end until they are gone. If you don’t have the ad free mode which is already ridiculous to begin with that I should pay to enjoy a simple game is terrible because after the gold block ad you get another ad for ranking up. Which ranking up is its own problem since it’s not even a rank it’s just an annoying system to give you more ads further ruining the quality of the game. If this was a complex developed game I’d understand the ads but this is not one of those so they don’t belong! I’m not sure what went wrong in the app developers head but they for sure need to try the game so they can understand how unenjoyable the game really is. Which is why I’m sure many others quit the game and also why it’s not nearly as popular as it could’ve been. If you want to desperately ruin the game at least put the ads in between levels not in the levels. Think about the players not the money for once and grow up!
