TOEM is, quite simply, a delight. It is a game about the joy of seeing and the curiosity of exploration. The black-and-white hand-drawn world is teeming with personality—every NPC you meet has a funny little quirk or a tiny problem that can only be solved with a photograph. It’s a non-violent, stress-free experience that prioritizes 'aha!' moments over reflexes.

The photography mechanics are simple but surprisingly deep. Having to think about perspective, distance, and timing to capture a 'shy' creature or a hidden ghost makes you feel like a real nature photographer. The soundtrack is equally incredible, featuring chill lo-fi beats that make you want to just sit in the game world and watch the paper-craft clouds go by. It’s one of the best 'wholesome' games available on any platform, and it translates perfectly to the touch screen.

I never finish games or write reviews for that matter but for this game?? 10/10. I won’t lie, I had medium hopes for this game but y’all surpassed that expectation of mine. I managed to complete the game in 6h 7min and fully 100% it from basic and Basto areas, creatures and achievements. The last game to make me feel good about getting/playing/completing was “Carto”, they give the same chill fun vibes and similar play time (100% gameplay) I was a little sad the game ended but after clicking continue so I could complete one last achievement, I saw the Basto addition and THAT hyped me up and really pushed this game over the top for me! 🥹🥹 The camera work is amazing, the portraits were so dang adorable, the music soothing and fun, the mini secrets and outfits were awesome, and that guy falling in the water sound CHERRY ON TOP, I chuckled on that part lol. Overall this game was phenomenal. For $6.99, I’d say you get your moneys worth. I legit can’t wait to see what other games y’all create!!

Creative puzzle that is fun and a challenge

This is a new genre of puzzle for me. The characters, graphics, music, and sound all combine to make a very unique puzzle that contains a lot of depth, humor, and challenge. Even after completing it, you get a chance to replay the scenarios to ‘perfection’. I still haven’t done that but will enjoy re-exploring the scenarios. You learn this puzzle as you play it, and the controls make it easy to navigate. I can hardly wait for more offerings from this company. Definitely worth the price!

Polished and Delightful

This game may be new to the US mobile market but it has clearly been previously available in other markets or on other platforms. It’s beautifully designed and has the polish of a well developed game. If you’re looking for fast paced action then this probably isn’t the game for you, but if you enjoy exploring quirky environments with interesting characters and unique gameplay, then you will enjoy this game. I appreciate the open environment that allows you to take your own path through the game and go at your own pace. You can accept a challenge when you find one or leave it for another time and pursue something else. I hadn’t even finished the free trial before I knew I wanted the full game. It’s relaxing, clever and delightful. I purchased it and I’m glad I did.

I don’t finish anything and rarely play games, especially ones you have to pay for. I don’t have the attention span for it. I really feel like that’s going to change after this game! It’s fairly easy so I’m not getting frustrated & it has the same vibe as Night Market (the only other game I’ve played that held my attention except I never finished it 🥲). I genuinely love this game && can’t wait to get back to it :)

I was really surprised by the photography mechanics! The way we can move the camera around in space, just like we do in the game, really surprised me! Also, after the game itself understands what exactly we photographed Now I really want to buy this game, but since I don't play on my phone very often, I'll buy it on Steam. I was really surprised that it's even available for PC.

I randomly downloaded a game this one and squid games. I do not play games on phones its to hard for me to figure it out. This one is easy to move around. Im taking my time but its very interesting to say the least. I am having a hard time figuring out how to find the challenges when i thought i did but didn’t. I just started so i cant be hard on myself.

Literally one of the cutest most fun game i have ever played🥹 I could not put it down, and tell me why when the credits came on i teared up. I could tell the team who made this game put their heart & soul into it. I really enjoyed this game, just enough challenge to keep you invested but not too hard that you give up. EVERYONE SHOULD PLAY THIS GAME!! I'm so glad I got it🥹💓🫶

Why is my game frozen

So it might be apart of the demo like how it stops but like in the beginning like the VERY beginning of the game I am like frozen outside the house it gives like an indicator that I can click on the bench but it won’t even let me do that the music still goes and everything but the main character is frozen just standing there I restarted my phone and even redownloaded it I’ve tried starting the game over and it doesn’t have that option so is their anything you could do to help because for the short period of time that it worked it looked like a good game
