Fri Aug 30 2024 Cmon guys, pay for NHL rights!I have been playing another similar platform game that had the licensing rights to its professional sports counterpart. The simplicity of the rosters available to choose from provide quite a bit of time killer fun. You have a reasonable ability to stick out some ads in the FTP the game. However, the in game perks with their lowest price “package” of pay as you want structure, provide quite the boost in building a competitive team in addition to a LIFETIME OF AD FREE! You read that right, it is only the unforced ads you’d get between games. You do still have forced ads for some in game perks. But if you have time to kill, it’s a quick ad runtime typicallyto burn through to farm for in game perks. I’d honestly like to see what this game base could do with licensing rights from its Hockey professional sports counterparts. I’m sure it’d be some logistical adaptation challenges, but I could see this games having an enjoyable future should it get licensed. In the interim, I’m enjoying this game more than my favorite similar style game I’ve been playing for 7+ years.
Great game but needs improvements to last
Sat Aug 13 2022 Chris25222The is a really good game. It’s fun to play and you can pretty much jump in and start winning. You collect cards and money to improve your team. Everyone knows what’s good about it from playing it, I do want to focus in on what needs work. The ads are so annoying, and it’s not that there are too many. They’re just really annoying, using fake “X” marks to make you open the ad then you intent to close it. Ads that open themselves, and ads that are really hard to close out, and you’ll end up opening it 4-5 times before you can close it out for good. That is the major gripe. Another is the AI, the AI will set up players next to your goal so they can just snap it in and you really have no opportunity to stop it. When you have the puck, you only control the player with the puck, the rest are AI, but your AI will NEVER set up a player by the goal. The only goals you will make are when your player skates to the goal, it honestly will account for 95% of your goals. The game only gets harder based on how many times the AI will check you, lower divisions don’t check as much, division 9 you’re getting checked like every 3 seconds. So a little diversity as to the game getting more challenging would be nice. Another player mentioned that the cost of upgrading players really doesn’t make too much sense, some players being outrageously expensive for no reason. Anyway, it’s solid, but fixing those issues would really help in my opinion.
Solid 4 Star Major Changes Needed
Thu Jul 18 2024 BEST GAME WHEN BOARDThis is the best hockey game on mobile right now, period. Beats every competition today. The gameplay is great with a few important changes needed. First off the team building is spot on with card pulling and upgrading players. I like the different leagues and events hosted so the game doesn’t get too repetitive. Some very, very important changes needed within the game is mostly gameplay mechanics. I wish there was better aiming been you shoot or pass the puck, its kind of random where your passing to a teammate or shooting at a precise spot. I also wish hitting was more aimed as well. Along with aiming wise, when your in the offensive zone, your unable to dump the puck to the corner when there is pressure on you, and its like your forced to shoot or pass to someone who is covered or forced into loosing the puck. I get its an easy and friendly game but it makes the game more difficult to play. Have the aiming system a bit more loose so there can be quick decision making and plays. Love this game so much and I’m trying Superstar Soccer because of it. Great set of games and waiting for baseball, basketball, or football which would be absolutely wild. Keep making these great games and fix the things needed to be fixed to make this game unbeatable by other competitors.
Unfair AI….
Wed Aug 10 2022 Avery AugustusI have very much enjoyed playing this game the past couple of weeks. I have plowed through the game now and have gotten most of the cards and everything is pretty great! Except for one thing and that thing would be the “Perfect AI” which I have had to face many times when you reach around 4,000 trophies. This AI is practically unbeatable, it makes perfect movements, passes, and rarely misses a shot. Intercepts you’re passes half of the times you might try and make them, comes to check you as soon as you have the puck, and it thinks faster than you can. When I play against this AI it feels as though I’m playing against 6 people and each control 1 of the players. This is the only real issue I’ve noticed with this game… I am adding to this comment a couple weeks later bc after playing the game even more I have learned and am pretty sure that not only is the AI sometimes unbeatable in games but the game also literally makes your own team worse, passes you try to make too often just go to the other team and shots you take are less accurate than normal. I know this is a stretch but I’ve been watching and it seems to be the case and it’s total GARBAGE BC THE GAME WOULD BE GREAT IF NOT FOR THIS GARBAGE!!!!!!

Sun May 21 2023 don’t play trust meAt first yeah this game is ok but when you play it for a little but it’s so annoying. First of all it’s so hard to get new players the packs only give you the same cards or like 100 coins and yeah with those same cards or coins you can upgrade your player sure but it’s so annoying and hard to upgrade them in the first place. Most of the time you don’t have enough coins cause of the packs only giving you like 100 per or you lose ALL your money after losing ONE MATCH because the buy in was insanely high. Then there the gameplay, theses only three controls.. Pass, shoot, and body check that’s it. No dekes or nothing like that at all which is a main part of hockey also with there being no way of dekeing, dodging or even dashing there’s pretty much no way of getting around your opponent or getting out of there way of body checking you which becomes so infuriating because let’s say your trying to get around a defender or fake out the goalie you really can’t do anything except move around the joystick a little even then it does nothing. So with all that in mind your only way of scoring is mainly doing one-timers or getting lucky on a breakaway… THATS IT. there so much more I could say like about the AI and there’s skill level or the fact you can ONLY play against AI but I don’t wanna waste time on this stupid game.

Tue Feb 08 2022 Dark Magic 666First of all I love this game. It’s fun and easy to play but requires quick reflexes and strategy to win at high levels. I’ve been playing for a couple months, and I’ve spent a decent amount of money buying packs and upgrading players. There’s 3 main issues I have with the game. 1. No matter how great you’re playing the AI will basically make you lose on purpose to stop a winning streak. Almost none of your shots will go in no matter how open the net is during those games. It makes the game no longer real. 2. Sometimes it feels like you’re actually playing against another real player but I don’t think you are. You can pause the game and get back to it whenever you want. I’ve never had the opposing player hit pause which is unlikely. 3. There’s no events or tournaments. Just leagues until you get to the last one. Nothing left to play for. There’s also never been any players added to my knowledge. At the later levels it’s basically the same players on both sides. These are 3 things that I’m having a hard time overlooking but I do enjoy playing it. I’m just not sure how much longer it will feel fun.
Super Fun and Addictive Despite Some Balancing Issues
Thu Jan 12 2023 Dirty PilgrimWow this game sure is the bee’s knee’s. Gameplay is very fun and addictive. I did purchase one pack that has made it pretty easy to progress all the way to Division 8 without any grinding, which is not too bad for these types of games. My only complaint is sometimes you have games where is feel like the outcome is predetermined, as in, no matter how well you play you aren’t going to win. I have lost a match where I outshot the opponent 22-1, and I lost the match 1-0. It can be frustrating. I have the legendary goalie leveled up to almost 90 overall and he has game where he gives up 4 goals on 5 shots, 7 goals on 7 shots, etc. This is either due to balancing issues or it’s just the developers making sure you sometimes lose, either way, I wish they would change it so the game could feel more fair and consistent. Still, it’s very fun and very addictive. Would give 4.5 stars if I could, that’s not an option so I rounded up to 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
WASTE of time & money
Tue Dec 20 2022 gmen1986DON’T spend a dollar on this game!!! You play UNFAIR computer opponents and it does NOT matter how good your players are. Plus it is basically ONE against FIVE. Your players that you don’t control (because you only control one player at a time) don’t do anything whereas your computer opponents check you EVERY TIME you get the puck and pass the puck to wide open players constantly. When you play a far INFERIOR opponent they will win the vast majority of face offs. All five players on their team will swarm the net yet will always be back on defense whereas your players skate around like they are blindfolded. When you get the puck in the defensive zone you will pass the puck to a wide open player up ice then this guy from off the screen will skate into the pass & steal it. Lastly you can earn player cards from winning games, waiting for free cards, etc but you RARELY get cards that you need and will almost always get cards for players that are already maxed out. The price point for buying gems, coins & cards is ABSURD!!! If you like playing a RIGGED game then this game is for you!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just played 3 games in a level THREE times lower than I can against opponents FAR INFERIOR than me. LOST ALL THREE!!! Game DELETED!!! Once again…DON’T SPEND A DOLLAR on this game or WASTE YOUR TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
