Dear Sudoku Users,
We’re excited to share our new update with you! We hope you enjoy it.

Don't hesitate to contact us if you happen to any bug, thanks for choosing Sudoku.
Sudoku Master: Number Puzzle is exactly what it claims to be: a polished, professional, and completely ad-free (in the premium version) Sudoku experience. In a market flooded with cluttered puzzle apps, this one stands out for its clean UI and intelligent features. I particularly appreciated the 'Smart Hint' system, which doesn't just give you the answer, but explains the logic—like 'X-Wing' or 'Hidden Single'—which actually helps you become a better player.
The inclusion of daily challenges and a robust statistics tracker makes it the definitive Sudoku app for people who take the game seriously. The haptic feedback on number entry is subtle but satisfying, and the dark mode is perfectly tuned for late-night sessions. It doesn't try to reinvent the wheel; it just builds the best possible version of it. It’s a must-have utility for the logic puzzle enthusiast.
Thousands of handcrafted, unique puzzles
Educational 'Smart Hint' system
Daily challenges with collectible trophies
Comprehensive player statistics and win rates
Customizable themes and fonts including Dark Mode
The key to solving 'Expert' puzzles is the Auto-Note feature. Once enabled, the game will fill in all possible candidates for empty cells. When you place a number, the notes in that row, column, and 3x3 grid will automatically update, allowing you to focus on high-level elimination strategies rather than manual record-keeping.
If you're stuck, tap the 'Logic' button. The app will highlight a cell and explain the specific Sudoku technique required to solve it (e.g., 'Naked Pairs'). This turns every puzzle into a learning opportunity to improve your real-world Sudoku skills.
Every puzzle in Sudoku Master is mathematically verified to have exactly one unique solution that can be found through logic alone.
Some ads have a volume icon to mute sounds but the 'screw puzzle' ads have a stupid high pitched noise that hurts my head! You should consider 'neurodivergent' players that have triggers such as certain noises and who need to be able to mute sounds completely when they pop up. That ad is not able to be clicked through right away and I just can NOT listen to that sound! I have to close the app to avoid it each time and it seems to be playing more often than before. I like the game but this problem might be what chases me away. I understand that ads pay the bills, but the sound effects are not vital to ads and could be mutable. When an ad has such problems, it defeats the purpose of being shown, as I can't even watch it. I've got sound turned off in the game settings but I can not silence my device entirely because I need to hear incoming messages for my on call job. PLEASE make it so things can be FULLY muted - more than ten minutes after playing and I still have that noise ringing in my head...🤨
The game itself is great. There’s a daily challenge plus a tournament style competition. There’s a handy note feature and even hints. The Bad: The amount of ads and the length of them are crazy. Before and after each game and sometimes two or three minutes long. I have also been experiencing frequent freezing lately. There is no way I’m paying $8 a month for ad free because that is ridiculous. I can’t even play a quick game when I have a few free minutes because of how long the ads are.
Sad to say, this app has way too many ads in the free version and they aren't all safe ads as other reviewers have mentioned. I enjoyed the game while I had a paid subscription because the various competitions and solving options made the app interesting to come back to day after day. However, as soon as that expired, the app felt impossible to use. The biggest drawback beyond the ads is there is no mechanism to get better at sodoku. The hints just fill in a number instead of letting you know what technique you should have used to get the answer. For that and the other reasons, I might as well just pay for apple arcade and play the much better sodoku app that is available there.
This is a good app because it has a lot of variety of game modes including samurai but there are a lot of ads and the competitive mode which is my favorite is just playing against fake players. I wish it was actually playing against other real players and that there was a real ranking system. It would be cool to be able to fight for a spot on a leaderboard. Also the leagues reset every week which is way too quick for having to get 30 wins to get gold. Also would love to see more game modes like killer sudoku
I love this app. I really do. I was a level 100 sudoku samurai master, I got a bunch of postcards and won a bunch of races. Then I’m the last couple of weeks, this ad has started popping up that opens a web browser with a scan and antivirus type ad. I delete those from spam mail, I’m certainly not going to tolerate them from a voluntary app. I’ve deleted the game until I’m sure they’ve fixed the issue. Without that, this game is 5 stars for me. With the ad, don’t bother installing.
This game has an ad for literally every game. AND for when you complete a game. So when you play a 3-5min expert level game, you end up watching ads for about 20-25% of the time you are on this app. The game design and levels are good though. Side note, you can play competitive mode but there is absolutely no way you’re playing live against others. You ALWAYS win or lose by 1-2 points at the final second of the game.
I’ve been enjoying the app for months, but with the latest update, the points decreased exponentially. My preferred game is The Most Difficult Sudoku. It used to be worth 400 points. Now it’s 100. I like playing the tournaments and daily games, but it’s garbage now. I don’t want to have to be glued to my phone for hours just to place. I play for relaxation and a little competition. Not to waste my time. This is seriously making me think about looking for a different app. I really hope they change it back
Look, I have been playing this game for about a year now, but since November, the game will freeze my phone and I would have to turn off my phone to get the screen to work, and I would have to close out of the app and reopen it again because the game would be flickering. I’m letting you guys know about this because it crashed out on me 2 minutes into the game, I did the same thing as above, and it crashed again a minute later. Can you please fix this? I would greatly appreciate it.
