Steam: Rails to Riches is the official digital adaptation of the award-winning board game. In this deep strategy experience, you take control of a fledgling railway company during the industrial revolution. Your goal is to build the most efficient network of tracks, upgrade your locomotives to carry more goods, and deliver those goods to the cities that need them most. You must compete with other players for the best routes and manage your finances carefully, taking out loans when necessary but ensuring you can pay them back. With multiple maps and adjustable difficulty levels, it offers a challenging experience for both fans of the original game and newcomers to the tycoon genre.

Steam: Rails to Riches is an excellent adaptation of the board game. The developers did a great job of translating the complex economic systems into a mobile-friendly interface. It's a 'thinking person's' game—you really have to plan your routes and manage your cash flow carefully or you'll go bankrupt before the mid-game.
The AI is surprisingly competent and will definitely punish your mistakes. For fans of heavy strategy and logistics, this is a must-have. It’s deep, rewarding, and offers plenty of replayability with different maps and strategies.

Tips & Walkthrough
Focus on short, efficient deliveries early in the game to build up your capital. Don't over-expand your track network too quickly, as the maintenance costs and loan interest can easily outpace your income if you aren't delivering high-value goods.
Gameplays
Each turn begins with an auction for special actions. Players then build track, upgrade their engine levels, and move goods across the board. The game ends after a set number of turns, and the player with the most victory points wins.

Sat Jul 07 2018 railfan99This is one of those games you really have to pay attention while playing. I had to search for tips on the internet how to successfully win or be at least competitive against the lowest Computer players. The tutorial, as mentioned, is not very helpful.
Several issues with Tutorial make it unplayable
Mon Jul 08 2019 BennetI cannot progress in tutorial. I’ve now restarted it twice, but it requires me to perform an action that I cannot do. I also found a spelling error in the tutorial text. I want to like this game, but I still don’t know how to play because of the broken tutorial.

Thu Jan 24 2019 italianbreadmanHow do I get the app to let me take multiple turns moving goods in the move goods phase? It always ends the phase after I move one good instead of cycling through all the players’ turns repeatedly. Very annoying
Multiplayer needs improvement
Sun Mar 31 2019 Denis_bdaYou cant invite friends so you need to leave a game open for them to join. The turn notifications also dont work. I was very encouraged when the multiplayer was first rolled out but have struggled to complete any games as friends need to be messaged in another medium that it is their turn
Worst tutorial ever
Thu Aug 17 2017 keith.r.lauThe game doesn't place a yellow good on Einhoven, then tells you to transport one yellow good to Njinmegen. It won't let me progress past that. I really want to give this game a higher review, but the tutorial is a dumpster fire.

Broken Tutorial Beware
