Bug fixes and game optimisation
Spider Solitaire by MobilityWare remains the gold standard for this classic patience game on mobile. It strikes a perfect balance between 'classic' gameplay and modern 'quality of life' features. The animations are fluid, the cards are easy to read even on smaller screens, and the 'Winning Deals' option is a great addition for those who find the random distribution of a 4-suit game too frustrating.
The daily challenges and progression systems (like earning crowns and trophies) provide a reason to come back every morning. The customization options are also quite deep, allowing you to change everything from the card backs to the background to suit your mood. It’s a reliable, polished version of a game we all know, made better by smart features like unlimited undos and helpful hints that actually teach you how to sequence cards better.
1, 2, 3, and 4 suit difficulty modes
Winning Deals that guarantee a solvable game
Daily Challenges with collectible trophies
Customizable card backs, faces, and backgrounds
Portrait and Landscape orientations
Prioritize clearing out a column as early as possible. An empty column is the most valuable tool in Spider Solitaire, as it allows you to move sequences and unblock buried cards.
Every day brings a new puzzle. Completing these challenges earns you crowns, which eventually unlock monthly trophies to track your progress over time.
A 'Winning Deal' is a game that is guaranteed to have at least one solution, removing the frustration of impossible shuffles.
Not a huge deal but warning to everyone else - if you travel to different time zones the game erases all your past wins :( Edit: good news; if you’re just on a vacation then when you come back you get your past wins back. I guess if you moved time zones then you’re outta luck lol.
Spider solitare keeps my mind alert, sharp and remembering. For someone who is leaving late-middle age, this is important because it will help develop my short term memory. I found the hint especially helpful because it taught me alternative ways of thinking. Please include the standard rules for playing in further editions.
This was the first and only spider solitaire app I downloaded. I haven't been moved to explore other apps because this one is terrific. I don't typically play games on my phone, but of the few game apps I've downloaded, this is the one I enjoy playing most. Cheers.
I’ve been through a few solitaire games and this one is about as good as a free game gets imho. The game is playable and all the levels are winnable. The adds are pretty consistent, but they aren’t at all game breaking and not really that annoying when compared to other games I’ve played. Overall the game is really good and I can recommend it.
not have a exit button to exit out of the add to continue playing the spider solitaire game, I have to close out the game and reboot to get away from these adds , this is frustrating and I’m most likely to delete this app because of that reason, I don’t mind adds for I’m playing for free , how ever I don’t like getting adds that won’t let go of my phone and has no exit to close the add, I do not recommend this app.
The ads have gotten out of hand. When it takes 3+ minutes to go back to the game it is no longer enjoyable. I deleted the game.
First, please give me back the last version!! I am not liking this one as much. Question: what happened to all the days and months I have already accomplished? They did not carry over. If this is the the same app, I paid 4.99 to have deluxe with no adds; however now I’m told I must pay 9.99 to be add-free. Another dislike: the graphics seem to look more narrow and columns close together. Dislike: The touch is awkward and slow. Please give me back the previous version!! I really enjoy this app but find it frustrating now. Raye W. Akins
I always enjoy this game but for the past few days the menu bar has been missing so there’s no way to bring a game up. HELP!!!!
