Still the familiar game

I like how it doesn’t have crazy flashy buttons and animations. It’s very similar to that computer game that would be on the family computer that you would play when you were bored, with the twist of a phone app. It’s very straightforward, and I like to play this before bed because it makes my brain tired in a good way. Currently my favorite solitaire game that I have downloaded at the moment.

Great game, Horrible Ads

I just downloaded this game today. I love a great solitaire game and this has an interesting twist. 5 stars on the game itself. However between games, you have the ads. I am willing to wait through a 5 or at most a 15 second ad. These ads freeze you up for 30 seconds or 1 minute minimum. In fact if you don’t interact with the ads, they don’t start their countdowns. I noticed when the game was downloading that it was an English translation under Chinese characters. I wonder if my information is being exposed. 0-1 stars on for ads longer than the playing time of the game. 3 stars as an average, but I suspect that I will remove this game if the ridiculous ads continue.

Classic Spider Solitaire Mania sound off issue

I really love to play Classic Spider Solitaire Mania game. There is one issue bothering me. While playing the game on iPad, I have another app playing music on the background. Although I turned off Spider Solitaire’s sound off, still when playing the game (like flipping the cards quickly), the Solitaire game seems activated some sound function making the background music from another app stop. Can this be fixed, meaning once the Solitaire’s sound button is off, truly there’s no sound function activated that causing other app stop? This is for Spider Solitaire game on Apple iPad.

Great game, but…

I love the Spider Solitaire game in general. I have one already downloaded. However, what caught my eye on this app was the different layouts of the game y’all advertised could be played, such as the cross and the heart, instead of just the regular layout. I’m really disappointed I can’t play those layouts and it was just a gimmick to get us to download the app. Unless those layouts are actually in the game and I haven’t unlocked them, I’m not sure and i apologize, but I haven’t seen them at all. It would be great if you could add those layouts to choose from. That’s my only issue with this game. Other than that, it’s great.

Predatory

On its own this game is fun. There’s an unobtrusive banner ad at the bottom and one ad between each game. This would be fine were it not for the fact that every ad that plays between each game is an advertisement for a different, advertisement-riddled version of the same app. It asks you in bold letters to “update to a version with less storage space” and immediately sends you to the App Store to download the second game. If you click no, it tells you “this is required to continue playing.” And sometimes you can only exit the ad by refreshing the entire app. This is blatant fraud by the app developers and frankly insulting. I encourage players to report the ad for fraud when you see it.

Annoying Miracle Prompt & More

I like the game but it has a few very annoying issues which is why it gets a 3. 1. The miracle and replay prompts. This comes up very random and keeps coming up even when I know I will win. Weird since this means the game doesn’t even know when player is about to win. I keep X-ing the prompt out but it just comes up with each move I make until I win the game. Irritating. 2. Sometimes cards will not move to empty slots. No matter how many times you touch them. The keep moving back & forth but not to empty slots.

Forced ads more often now

They have a feature where if there are no more available plays on a game you can watch an ad to get a magic help. When I started playing, I was able to solve the whole game entirely by myself. But recently, I’ve noticed that they have way too many games where you cannot finish the game and you are forced to watch multiple ads to solve the game. I’m deleting the app now because out of the last 10 games I’ve played they’ve made me watch the ads to solve 8 times!!!

Possibly ad cheating???

I played for like 20 rounds and won each one and rarely needed the help of the Magic feature that makes you watch an ad for the card rearrangement. I felt like after that it suddenly started shuffling the cards against my favor and where i usually had to be using none or only one magic, i suddenly had to be using 2+ of the magic feature to win??? Maybe its a skill issue on my part but it was all in the same day so my skills couldnt have changed and i was playing the same randomized challenges. Is this my mistake or has anyone else had this issue..???
