Great game fast paced. Found a bug

I found a bug. You’re not allowed to lead spades as the first card unless a spade has been played already on another hand. But if you only have spades left you can’t lead one still. The game won’t let you play a card and you’ll have to restart. Hope this gets fixed. Other than that I love this app. Fast paced gameplay with smart ai players. I have t experienced any pop up adds that take away from gameplay. Only banner ads which I can endure. Overall great and haven’t had any complaints.

Worst AI Spades Experience

Imagine constantly playing 3 vs 1 or with someone that has never played the game before and that is what you can expect with the AI on this app. Your AI partner will continually overbid and only collect two thirds of the bid amount or will underbid and collect every single bag available without setting your opponent. It is annoying to see your partner have the cards to make the bid but constantly play under the other team. Furthermore, if you decide to go nil, you had better hope you don’t have any spades and only have the 2-5 in all other suits because your partner will lead their lowest cards, but on the flip side should the other team go nil your partner will cover every single play they have, even when there is a lower card that would set the nil. Perhaps the intent of this app is to help you build your patience as you’re continually disappointed, because I can’t fathom anyone would develop something this frustrating with the intent of anyone having fun.

Teams Don’t Work

The game is ok and easy to play. Teams don’t work correctly because sometimes the computer partner will cut your book even when it’s not necessary. There’s times when you bid 0 books and to computer partner will draw you out by playing a lower card helping the ones you’re playing against. Example: you have bided 0 and you have 6 and 7 of Diamonds and there’s 5 cards left in your hand. The Computer partner who’s supposed to be helping you will play a 4 of Diamonds although it also has a Jack of Diamonds causing you to get a book. Then the next play or so it will use it Jack of Diamonds which is what it should have done earlier. It’s a big mistake that happens too often in the game. It’s needs to be fixed. One star is all it deserves.

Great simple interface, stuck on easy

The interface in this game is simple. It’s very clean if you just prefer to play the game and have no other aspects of the app. However, the biggest flaw is that it is too easy. Once you’ve learned the game, it doesn’t change and there’s no ability for the game to become harder. The biggest example I have of this is your opponents will not force you to lose on a nil when giving the opportunity.

Illogical AI Partner Play

When I go NIL, even a novice Spades partner would know better than to lead a low card unless they have to. My AI partner frequently does this, causing me to inadvertently win a book. The next book, they end up throwing the higher card of the same suit. It just does not make sense. They’ll also often trump me when I already have the book won, and they’ve met their bid already. A real player would throw off. This has also caused me to not meet my bid way too many times. I get that the app wants to throw realistic situations at live players, but such bumbling play by my AI partner has caused me to lose a lot of games.

Love the game with one exception

I love playing. It’s quick and easy. I started playing this game from within another game in order to win rewards for the original game. The spades game listed all the rewards for daily play. I’ve played WAY more games than they require and they haven’t rewarded any where near what they promised. I tally my game play on paper and most days they give me little to no credit at all. I still play because I really like the game but note that if you play as a mini-game through another app, you may get cheated out of your rewards.

I really like this game. It’s simple, clean, and the AI partner isn’t terrible. It’s just that the ads come after every round after your second game. So a round lasts two minutes and then ad. Two minutes then ad. I really like this game. I want to give you money. Take my money. Seriously. I’ll give you a 5⭐️ review if you give me ad free mode. Please.

This game needs work

As everyone said there is no option to opt out of ads. The AI partner is your enemy. It will set you, over bid, and seems to be working for the opposing team. Because of this you have to work extremely hard to play for yourself and the dumb AI. Oh, and your AI loves bags like your great grandmother use to save them. No matter how you try to avoid them you will get penalized for bags. Couldn’t take anymore of playing against the opposition and my supposed partner do I uninstalled the game. I will avoid playing any other game associated with this developer. I give them one ⭐️.
