Smart Baby ABC is a comprehensive educational suite designed for children aged 2 and up. It introduces toddlers to the English alphabet, basic numeracy, and essential vocabulary using a 'simple-to-complex' progression. The app features four distinct game modes that combine static and moving elements to enhance fine motor skills and logic. With intuitive one-touch controls and professional voice acting, it creates a cheerful environment for early cognitive development.

Our Expert Score

85/100

As an educator and a parent, finding an app that strikes the perfect balance between 'fun' and 'functional' is a rare win. Smart Baby ABC Games is one of those gems. It doesn't just throw flashing colors at your child; it actually uses a 'simple-to-complex' pedagogical approach that respects the learning curve of a toddler.

The tactile feedback is excellent. By including both static and moving objects, the game subtly works on fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination while the child is busy identifying the letter 'B' or the number '5.' I was particularly impressed with the clear, high-quality pronunciation of the words, which is vital for early language acquisition. It’s also inclusive, with a pacing that makes it accessible for children with autism. This isn't just a digital babysitter; it's a genuine early-learning tool that feels premium and thoughtful.

Great but could use some improvement

My 2.5 year old has loved the free trial so we decided to pay to get the extended version. My only complaint is unlike the free trial, the paid app is not “full screen” - it is letterbox style (black box around it)

2 year old memorized it

Omg I bought this app in mid March and 2 weeks later he MEMORIZED every single letter. I bought the entire set of everything smart (colors, numbers, etc) and he memorized it all. We’ll be walking and he’ll point out letters and say the correct one out loud this really helped with his verbal skills he talks so much now (still don’t understand him yet) but wow!!!!! Idc who says electronics aren’t good for kids. Mine learned the alphabet, numbers and colors in 2 WEEKS!

Game started having tweaks

My son uses my phone time to time he enjoys play smart ABC but what stops him from playing is the levels doesn’t let him move forward the letters it offer don’t appear to match and spelling words it just same level. Can we get a fix on this because I purchased this while back I would hate to lose this.

Glitch in app

My 2 year old really liked the free version of this so I decided to purchase the full version which is also great except for the fact that on level 8 of the ABCs the only letter available to move is P but there’s no spot for it. This frustrates and confuses him because he thinks he’s doing it wrong but he’s not. I then just have to restart him a few levels back because it won’t let us pass level 8. I know $2.99 isn’t a great deal of money but it’s frustrating to know I paid for the full version but we’re not able to fully use it.

Toddler’s Favorite Game

My 2 year old loves this game and delights when the animals and objects pop up after he’s placed all the letters to spell the words. He often requests the “ABC game” and knows his entire alphabet. I also have other kids in my life who run up to me and ask me if they can use my phone to play the “ABC game”.

My son is 2 and he lives the color games. I just literally downloaded the ABC & 123. The letter B says D when matched up and I was hoping for some structured math. Maybe some letter recognition and counting. I really love the color and shapes games for him but this one has a few things to iron out. Yes I'm still going to use it for the time being and over compensate for it short comings.

Great could be better

I love this app and so do my nieces but it would be better if I could share it with my other family members so we could have it on more then one tablet. Says we can but can’t figure it out or get support.

2yr old, loves it

Since getting the full version, our 2yr old fully recognizes letters and numbers. He is also starting to recognize the words, before he spells them, and it says what the word is.
