Enhanced error checking and updated App description.
Shuffle Music Bingo is a genius concept that breathed new life into my group hangouts. It takes the classic bingo format and replaces the numbers with song clips, turning it into a mix of a trivia game and a dance party. The variety of playlists is what makes it—you can go from 80s pop to modern hits in the blink of an eye. The app handles the 'calling' perfectly, playing high-quality snippets that are long enough to recognize but short enough to keep the game moving.
It’s incredibly easy to set up, even for people who aren't tech-savvy. You just generate cards for your friends and start the music. It’s become a staple for our game nights because it’s inclusive; even if you’re not a bingo fan, everyone likes listening to good music. The interface is vibrant and adds to the overall party atmosphere. If you want to host a gathering that people will actually remember, this is the tool to use.
Extensive library of song clips and genres
Dynamic digital bingo card generation
Easy-to-use hosting tools and speaker integration
Multiple game modes including 'Blackout' and 'Lines'
As the host, make sure you have a good speaker. The app acts as the 'caller,' so everyone needs to hear the music clearly to identify the songs on their cards.
Tailor the game to your audience. Use the 'Decades' playlists for family events or the 'Top Hits' for a modern party vibe to ensure everyone has a chance to win.
No, the app comes with its own licensed library of song snippets, so you don't need external music apps to host a game.
Updated: I initially tried using the app based on my existing Apple iTunes playlists and had lots of problems. After an exchange of emails with support, I found that Apple had disabled iTunes support and thus only allowed actual playlists created using an Apple Music subscription. I decided to give it another try using a playlist with an Apple Music subscription. The issues that I experienced went away. The app works well. So for future reference, I think it’s fair to say that the app requires an Apple Music subscription. Thanks to the Shuffle team for the clarity and explanation.
This is a great app to shuffle clips of songs. The only issue I have is if I pause then come back in 10 minutes I can not continue the same playlist
Normal issues: I cannot use my iPad because the QR codes read as errors since I created the games from my iPhone. I also cannot pull from my saved games list because the full list of songs do not pull into the session. Since the new update: The QR codes on the cards read all errors. I can’t figure out how to fix it. I have about 15 different categories for a weekly event and this is crucial to operation. Since the new update, I have to manually search for most of the playlists. All of my playlists showed before the update. I can’t get the email link to open to contact support. I am hoping this review will catch attention & lead to contact for support! Otherwise, I really like this app and it has been extremely helpful/easy overall! Please help!!
This app is well put together! Only two thing I’d like to see in an update: 1 - Being able to toggle on or off the “Ding” noise that it makes in between each song. 2 - being able to customize the starting point of each song individually in each playlist. Other than that this app is absolutely amazing and easy to work!
Shuffle Music Bingo is solid when I use it on my phone — smooth, fun, and easy to run a game. It’s a cool idea and works really well for parties or events. But on my MacBook? It keeps crashing for no reason. Super frustrating when you’re trying to run things from a bigger screen. Until that’s fixed, I’m sticking to mobile. Would love to bump this to 5 stars once it’s stable across all devices!
There is no option to download the cards. There is no download PDF option. Only discovered this after paying the subscription price. Needed for an in-person music bingo event in two days. Hopefully there is a quick fix or a quick refund.
I use this app regularly at local bars and restaurants. Easy to use and efficient controls keeping it simple and fun for everyone.
Nice app! I was wondering if and when you were going to add a “free space” option to the cards?
