Shadow and Bone: Enter the Fold is a narrative-driven masterpiece that perfectly captures the 'Grishaverse' atmosphere. Developed as a Netflix game, it avoids any and all predatory monetization, offering a pure, premium story experience. You play through several intersecting paths as both new and familiar characters (like the Crows!), and the writing is top-tier, feeling like a true extension of the books and show.
The 'choice-consequence' system is more robust than I expected; your decisions actually change the tactical combat encounters and the relationships between characters. The turn-based combat is light but strategic, focusing on the specific Grisha powers of your party members. The art style—a beautiful, painterly 2D look—is stunning and atmospheric. It’s an essential play for fans of the franchise, but even if you're new to the world of Ravka, it stands alone as an excellent narrative RPG.

Tips & Walkthrough
During dialogue, pay attention to the character's 'Loyalty' meter. Keeping your party's loyalty high unlocks specialized 'Grisha Combo' attacks in combat. If you disagree with a character too often, they may withhold information or even abandon the mission during a critical moment.
Gameplays
Use the environment to your advantage. Grisha powers like 'Tidemaker' can freeze water or douse fire, changing the battlefield. Positioning is key—keep your Squallers and Heartrenders in the back row to protect them while your frontline fighters soak up damage.

I’m a huge fan of the show and the books so it is fun to play a game set in the Grishaverse! Netflix please bring back this show and the Six of Crows spin off! #saveshadowandbone #sixofcrowsspinoff

Thu Nov 16 2023 Bitizen4LyfeThe game was really fun in the beginning but on Jespers third chapter, the signs pointing to city names were incorrect, I would complete side tasks yet they’d still be pending or it would take money and food away as if the side quest was never completed and there’s absolutely no way to earn money for Jesper to complete the main tasks if you lost your money, you just had to start over. Disappointing and wasted a bunch of time on something the developers clearly rushed
Please fix Jesper chapter bug!!
Sat Dec 02 2023 СелфиPlease fix the bug where Jesper is stuck and can't progress because he doesn't have money for the suit. Add something in the world for him to make money other than gambling because he can't gamble if he has no money to gamble with - duh! Seriously annoying that I spent so much time on the game and can't finish it. There's no way I'm doing this again, so if the bug doesn't get fixed then players like me will abandon the game altogether.

Thu Nov 06 2025 6MOSBMThis is such a wonderful game, and I’ve been playing it nonstop for the past few days. The only complaint I have is the lag. Aside from this (and it’s usually bearable lag anyway) I would recommend this to friends a thousand times!
Stuck on Chapter 2
Sun Dec 31 2023 riyazzyWas enjoying the game and then I got stuck on Chapter 2 when you have to get the key from the fabrikator to free Mal. I got the key but when I go to free Mal its not in my inventory. I went back to the fabrikator but he says he needs metal but when I go back to the stables theres nothing there. I’m a bit sad as I have been a big fan of the books for years and was looking forward to this rpg but now I’m effectively stuck.

I found a glitch but the game was good
Tue Dec 19 2023 GidzotheGreatThere was a glitch in part 2 of level 2 where if you go to the abandoned farm after freeing the witch you cannot complete the quest where you reunite the sister and brother.
